You use the same videos for all different stories saying “this customer…” and it’s all different stories with the same footage. Are you legit? Or taking someone else’s footage?

This happened to me recently as an outdoor pest controller [licensed]. Small house in the middle of an apple orchard. We did the job [two of us] in about 20 mins, and used about 80 gallons of finished chemical for a pest perimeter [we spray the entire structure minus the roof, and a 12-foot radius around the structure]. She complained when the cost was $150 and "fired" us. Then, she "hired" us back within months because no one else could do the same job for the price. Lesson is: if the job is done right, it doesn't matter how long it took. We have wages, the chemical costs money, we spent fuel to get there. Prices exist. We did the job right.

That policy is just asking for trouble. If a customer wants to, they'll be able to find some snowdrift that is deep enough to cause a complaint. Offer it as a separate service, first come first served.

You’d be justified to measure it upon arrival to prove it wasn’t your minimum, but, you’d also be justified to charge the normal amount for less work if they really wanted (or truly needed) it done…

If yiu are charging for the snow removal process than its an easy job

For the more elderly or infirm customers an inch may be more than they can handle. It's good you went and took care of that for them. If they're young and relatively fit you can always hit them up later for a donation to shovel a couple sidewalks for some less affluent elderly people who need you but can't afford you.

I would have asked/confronted her about it. Tell her I still will do it but to not try that shit again.
