Good video! I believe they call that thing that rides on the spring a detent, just like the detents that ride on the springs for the receiver takedown and swivel, and selector.... And I believe the little scratches we get servicing our rifles are character making, otherwise the rifle is probably a safe queen, and that's no fun...LOL.
Yep, it's a type of detent just a little different because of the end that goes into the spring. And yes character that's a perfect word for it. Thanks for watching and posting. 👍
