don't forget that the training footage for seals is just the selection process like hell week. after that they go to specialized training for months or years. We don't get to see the actual training of seals.

    • @miken_ike0284
      @miken_ike0284 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

Actually that is the main training and that's why they show it, chris kyle, the lone survivor dude, and the guy who shot Osama all said that it was the hardest, the rest is just teaching them proper house clearing and stuff, think of buds and hell weak like a long ass pt. That's why seal training is so much harder than regular boot camp, cause it doesn't mix regular pt with the demonstrations of how to shot and stuff, it's just to weed out the ones who are willing to keep moving forward and the quitters.

Russian MREs or 'lunch boxes' are kind of what reflects on the economics of russia, its not the best, but getting by, substituting many of its food designs for canned food. 100% of it doesnt even need to be heated from what i remember. US MREs though, dont ether, but its best if did. eating cold well... half the items seams to be kinda weird.
Chinese MREs well. theyre not MREs, theyre strait Rations. Most of their menus are rice something, powder curry or soy for better flavoring, tea or drink powder comes with it. the vegi/fruit is ether with the rice base or on the side. the standard things to just checkmark a box.

You ask a lot of questions. They are all good. I have recently retired from the Army (US) and I wan tot answer 2 things you asked:
1 . Historiacaly, the D-force "failure" was a mechanical one; sand and helicopters dont mix well
    2. In the regular army, as a tank soldier (armor) the most dangerous thing on the battle field is an infantry soldier. Every US soldier is capable of tanking down an armored vehicle. We kill foot soldiers as primary targets. The A10 s can take out the enemy tanks and our tankers can drop the best Russian tank at more than 1k farther than their best. We have LRF( Laser range finder) and our troops can hit their targets outside of the LRF max range with the main gun. We can also manually fly our missiles.
I liked your comments in this video about the tanks. Remember, our Abrams is 30+ Year old tech in the US.

Artur, I just discovered your videos and enjoy them very much. One observation: there are different "bests" among spec ops units. For any water op the seals are easily the best, e.g. taking a defended offshore oil rig, or boarding a moving ship at night, planting a bomb and departing he ship completely undetected. These are real ops. On the other hand, if you want to organize and indigenous resistance then the best choice is by far the Green Berets. Organizing the Montagnards of VietNam, or riding horseback with the Northern Alliance in Afghanistan, keeping them united and supplied, Green Berets are the best of the best. By the way, very often when a spec ops unit is on a dangerous raid, such as the Bin Laden raid, just over the horizon there will be a formidable unit of U.S. Rangers waiting to come to the rescue if things go south for the spec ops unit. The Rangers are the best, incomparable, when capturing a defended air-field is needed. Examples are Grenada and Panama. So there are different "bests." depending on the mission.
Probably the most physically demanding of all elite units is the Para-Rescue. You might like to investigate this sometime.
    Wishing you much continued success.

The reason the spetznaz practice shooting each other in the Body Armor during training is to eliminate the fear/panic/shock of being shot in the field. If they get hit while on a mission, they won’t hesitate if it’s not a life threatening hit, which reduces complications, and doesn’t delay operations. It also reduces psychological hesitation while executing missions.
In essence, if two sides are in a firefight, which one has the advantage if they’re overall evenly matched? It’s the one that isn’t afraid of getting shot, because they’re already conditioned for it.

My brother was an Army Ranger. I was in a Naval Squadron of A7-Es. He was always telling me about how cool the Rangers were. Then his unit got to do some training missions with Navy Seals. He was amazed at just how versatile and well trained they were.
A few years ago, there was a movie about some modern day pirates that would board tankers and hold them for ransom. It was based on an actual even.
A seal unit was called in to deal with the situation. A seal sniper took out a guy with a head shot. Everyone might think so what. He was on a ship, firing at another ship and both are moving in 3 directions at once due to the motion of the ocean. It was an impressive shot. Yes it was a movie but the same shot was made for real.

I forgot how long ago this video was done; however, when Delta failed, it was in the late seventies Pres Carter was the Commander and Chief, it failed because they had USAF and Delta working together without the level of cross training they do now. Unexpected dust storm messed up the refuel in the desert and a helo crashed into a C130 killed many of the soldiers and airmen, and damaged other aircraft. This scrubbed the mission and gave a lot to learn from. Lessons from that failure have paved the way for all US Special Forces.

The thing that is amazing about the seals is their weeding out process. When you are going through those 6 days of sleep deprivation, exhaustion, starvation and survival, you can make the pain stop at any moment. All you have to do is say "I'm out" Even worse, the drill instructors/torturers will be begging, prodding and daring you to do it constantly. Becoming a seal is much more about mental strength than physical. This level of mental toughness makes them, IMHO, the deadliest, smartest, most dedicated warriors on the planet. Seal Team 6 is very special indeed. for other seal teams, once you complete/survive training you are assigned to a seal team. Not so with seal team 6. To become a member of this Unit you have to be nominated by an existing member of the team and the whole team has to vote on whether or not to let you in. It is an incredibly exclusive and elite club.

Something you should know about people breaking boards and stuff with parts of their bodies--most of the time, the thing to be broken is carefully weakened, it'll break before the body part does, then they disguise the method of weakening. They almost never admit to having cheated, but it's very well known these days, just exactly what they're doing.
I'm not saying that breaking these things legitimately is impossible or anything, it's just that it's easy to hurt yourself rather badly doing these tricks. Of course, most of the people demonstrating breaking are only doing it to convince people that they're much more powerful than they really are (you hear me, Puddinghead of Russia?).

@@warrior7ra Delta Force is above Devgru. They're in charge of capturing high value targets behind enemy lines or are used to assassinate, atleast what people say. But they failed that mission due to their command underestimating the enemy

@@assassin_rk42 1st, Op Det Delta 3 has a long sad history of failure and they have never been above Dev Gru. Dev Gru has 15 times more high value captures than Delta and definitely more HOSTILE kills Delta has definitely cornered the market on friendlies killed and second, it does not matter what the root cause is they are the knife edge of a Large team that as a matter of course must adapt and overcome to ensure mission success Delta does not do that they fail and blame others the SEALs have the same support issue but they succeed, that is coming from someone who served in the Navy and the Army and retired from the Army as a Master Sergeant
