Merry Christmas!! I made these today for Christmas breakfast and they are amazing! I did have some drama though. I had the casserole pan on a baking tray and when I was taking it out of the oven, the pan shifted on the tray and I dropped it. 🤦🏻♀️ Of course it landed roll side down but thankfully the pan didn’t break and I had covered it in foil so the rolls wouldn’t get too dark as the middle cooked, so they landed on the foil and not the floor. They were a bit smooshed but the icing covered that up. I’m going to chalk this up to the dumpster fire that has been 2020. Thank goodness it’s almost over!!!

I MADE THESE guys, and they came out great. I just have the unfortunate tendency to burn everything :D I made a double batch because I wanted to fill the whole baking tray of my oven, and it was baking through slower for the mass was big and the oven was on from below only and the top was staying pale. The batch was so big that I couldn't actually fit them in the whole tray, thankfully I learned the lesson and baked the leftover from both top and bottom for around 40 minutes and that was just right!
So good and easy to make for Saturday morning breakfast o any day I know I’m gonna make it every day . I love cinnamon rolls and this it’s to die for it good job Tatyana this recipe is delicious 👌👋👍. “ take care my friend “

Awesome!! :) I'm so glad you enjoy the recipe! They're my favorite! Yes, you can absolutely make them the night before. Just shape the rolls and let them proof for about 15 minutes, then place into the refrigerator. Enjoy!

Hi Tatyana 🥰 baked your original cinnamon rolls twice and I love it! But need some help here 😅 I’ve followed the instructions and showered the rolls with whipping cream after 10, but after another 25mins of baking I realize the bottom of the pan was still soaked/soggy. I’ve tried once with a Pyrex glass pan and once with a metal pan, both yield the same wet bottom, so I actually baked for another 20mins at least til the bottom is almost drying up. What should we be expecting other than browned top to know if it’s done baking? If stopped baking after a total of 35mins, will the bread soak up the liquid while cooling or not? It still tasted great even after baking for so long but I’d like to know if there’s anything I did wrong 🤔 For your future videos would be a big plus if there’s a short close up shot/view of the batter/dough consistencies at the end of steps so that it’s easier for us to know what to look for 😍 love u loads! Can’t wait to bake these!
Hi Celeste! Sorry you're running into that problem. These are not meant to be super dry, but the dough is also not supposed to be super wet. Does it get any better when you let it stand at room temperature? I find that the rolls will absorb more of the cream as they cool. Or, try adding a little bit less cream next time.
Hmm, I'm not sure! I haven't tried that! Although placing the dough in the refrigerator will make the dough proof slower the second time around. You can also try using the floss method for cutting them! :)

I was concerned that the original recipe might be too sweet, but actually the sweetness was just right and there was not really a lot of room to decrease sugar without the taste suffering.

Do you mean for the dough or for pouring over the rolls? I recommend using at least whole milk for pouring over the rolls but you can use 2% for the dough

Yes! Let the rolls proof for about 20 minutes, then cover with plastic and place into the fridge until you're ready to bake. Enjoy!

To make it a bit firmer before cutting, can you put the roll in the fridge for a bit?

When you put the cream on, isn't that basically just a bread and butter pudding?
It's not that much cream to make into a pudding, just enough to keep the dough from drying out :)
How about mixing all the inside ingredients together and then spread onto the dough
You can do that also but I find this way works better :)

Yes, you can definitely reduce the sugar in half. Have you used erythritol for baking before? It's a sugar replacement product that has very little after taste! It comes both in regular, granulated type and confectioner's type. I get mine on Amazon :)

I made your cinnamon rolls and they were spectacular. In that recipe it called for bread flour, but the pumpkin recipe doesn't. Reason?

Do you mean for the dough or for pouring over the rolls? I recommend using at least whole milk for pouring over the rolls but you can use 2% for the dough
