When you change the bitrate you should also increase the resolution to the max. Your steam deck can only handle the 800p, but the VM will render the game at a higher resolution and downscale it for the steam deck resulting in even better graphic fidelity.
I’ve been using my PlayStation 5 and Xbox series X remote play to do all the heavy lifting on bigger games like these. It’ll be nice to play my Steam games on the now since I don’t have a great gaming computer. I’ll have to check out the pricing for GeForce now I’m already paying two subscriptions. Game Pass and PlayStation network.
Nice! Yes, it's so nice to have such amazing streaming options. I just wish GFN was more like a virtual computer, and I could run any and all my games on it. It sucks to have to get multiple subscriptions to play different games that we all already pay for but don't have the hardware to play them how we want to play.
@@gdot1803 It really comes down to what you need. GeForce Now (GFN) is significantly less expensive than purchasing and upgrading a comparable PC each time GFN updates its GPU. For example, building a PC with a 4080 GPU could take years to pay off compared to the cost of a GFN subscription. I already own a Mac and a Steam Deck, so the idea of spending thousands of dollars on another PC just for gaming doesn't appeal to me. GFN offers a fantastic alternative. While I agree that consoles don't offer the same versatility as PCs, which can do much more, it all depends on what you're looking for. For its price, a PS5 is remarkable. Pairing that with a Steam Deck could be a great combination.
@@gdot1803interesting it might be my location and access to servers but I never have wait time and I don't have to wait for games to install or update I can literally just click it and jump right into a game so much faster. Don't get me wrong I would love a $2,500+ pc to have all the flexibility but I already own so many computers haha I hate the thought of buying another just for games.
as far as i can tell looks like we still are waiting on some drivers for like the audio, bt, and wifi maybe.. i can't seem to find a definitive answer looking quick.
Installing looks way more simple then befor. But the hidden OK button is evil 😂Maybe your ping would be better when you disable Frame Generation in Cyberpunk? Normaly Frame Generation increase the input lag. In my opinion the Ultimate Tear is a bit overpriced compared to the the Priority Tear. I canceled my subscription, cause I didnt have that much time to play. But maybe I will try it from time to time just for a month. Strange is that Nvidia advertise the Ultimate Tear with 4k and up to 120 fps. Which is a bit strange cause your stream is max 60 fps. If its not possible to get 90 or up to 120 fps inside the gamestream, then this is kind of misleading advertising in my optinion 🤔
This is just the web version so it's capped at 60. You can see the app on my Mac computer i can play 4k 120 and it's amazing. I can also play 120 on my android app. So hopefully they make a Linux app that works on the stream deck soon.
Looks like the button issue got fixed. I was able to see the yes/no button after hitting execute.

wouldn't this defeat the purpose of buying graphic cards? Even chromebooks can run geforce now.

If you're on GFN turn that off completely lol. You only need DLSS/DLAA if you have a weaker PC and want a higher FPS.
