Thks , honestly it's kinda hard to think creatively with the early game stuff when you need to focus on survival. So playing in the creative world has opened up a lot of creativity for me which I didn't know I needed lol
Me too, considering it's been around since 2016 and I only discovered it at the beginning of last year. I'm surprised it hasn't blown up. However I'm kinda glad that it hasn't as the updates are slow and steady, giving the Devs time to get things right and listen to the community, if it did blow up, I think it would have been heavily critiqued by the impatient majority especially those from the other blocks game .
Those interiors looks quite nice. When I build a house, there isn't really much of an interior decoration. I just slap on what I strictly need and nothing more really. Which is such a shame, because there is so much that can actually be done even with early game stuff.
Thank you. Tbf I've done the same as I was so focused on the survival part I never thought that creatively in early game, doing this has helped me with that so now even my starter bases should get better.
Another great video thanks for sharing! I love builds that are the same or similar footprints, but renovated over time. Its how we do our building in our builds for the most part until we really need more space. Maybe I missed it in the video, is there a reason you used decorative shelves in the pantry versus just regular ones? I haven't used the decorative ones yet so not sure how they differ
Thks. I only used decorative chest as I couldn't put anything on that block anyway due to the trap doors so I figured why not. And the bookshelves you can get regardless but can only store books. I got the mod shellfish where you can put other objects on it, I use that because when I progress in game I got a lot of loot I would like to display, lore books , crystalized ores etc, and leaving them in a chest is rather boring to me and seems such a shame of hiding your work.. and I just reread your comment, the shelves behind the doors/closet in kitchen are just regular shelves
Thank you, qptech chisels - which is why a block is a decorative chest. Hanging oil lamps and hanging baskets and hanging flowers, I think all those are separate (can't remember, sorry), shelfish for add items to bookshelves, and primitive survival for the pig pelt/hide "rug" and that's it for these builds everything else is vanilla
Tbf, it probably feels off because I built the upgraded one first and realised I have to kinda replicate it lol. For me it's the mud block slabs as railings, I couldn't get it right.
Yeah, I definitely need to step up my decorating game
Nothing wrong with keeping things simple especially in the harsh lands of VS survival first lol :D
even though you are using so early game materials, the interiors turns out to be so handsome
nice vid

I hope vintage story becomes known by more people.

Its funny how this first design feels like an attempt at making modern design in literal stone age like a flintstone’s car. Its not bad just feels off
