Gilmour's guitar solos are based on his blue style. I have listened to his guitar solos for decades. You are the one who knows very well how to play Gilmour's style and technics of his guitar solos. I appreciate that. Keep up your great works.
"In any Tongue" is also one of my favorite song and solo. There is so much feel in it, the guitar is literally crying. I ve practiced this many many times. On the one hand it is hard to get the same feel, but on the other hand it's fascinating, to get some own feeling to it. You can dive into the sounds. It's a masterpiece, like most of his playing.
David is one of my favourite guitarists and a huge inspiration for me when it comes to solo style, he’s got such a distinctive tone and rightfully one of the GOATs of rock guitarists. All great songs you picked here and major props for including Fat Old Sun, definitely one of my favourite early Floyd songs and one of Gilmour’s best performances in terms of writing, vocals and of course that awesome solo
You picked the best guy to emulate. His playing never gets old. Saw Brit Floyd play recently and those songs were timeless. Going to se “The Machinel next week
Adamsın bro kanal sahibi gitaristin türk olduğunu görünce daha mutlu oldum Gilmour'un ne kadar kaliteli bir gitarist olduğunu anlamış olduk bir kez daha
Very nice lesson! I've been playing bass since 2002 and I occasionally on guitar. Recently I have been taking guitar more seriously. I think because I played a lot of funk (which is focused on rhythm), and blues licks (feeling), starting to learn to play Gilmour isn't that scary. Don't get me wrong, I have a lot of work to do to even be halfway there. What I wanted to say is that it's worth listening to not just Gilmour, but a lot of blues, R&B and funk.
Her guitar technique and innovations are almost a whole category of guitar style onto herself. More on the open tuning, dulcimer etc. and rhythm end of things. Nothing like David, but the influence is all over a lot of rock arrists’ playing. Also Joni’s enploying later of some top jazz guitarists and bassists.
@@mustyguitar Absolutely, if you were able to do them with the tab at the bottom that would be even more amazing but you'd have to do that for Patreon only I guess
Pink Floyd üstüne bir kanal hem de türk biri tarafından. Aradığım içerik memleketimden çıktı çok mutluyum. Milli gurur Mustafa Can Kaya amk!!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Great video! May I give you an idea for a future video? As a beginner, I wonder which solos would be suitable for my level and skill. Could you please do a similar video telling us the solos a beginner wanting to get into DG sound should learn? I have read elsewhere that time and mother might be good starting points, but I wonder your perspective. Thank you! Shine on
Btw, I am trying to play the final part of the solo from money but I have a 21 fret strat. How can I replace that section or do you know a better way? Though I really want to nail the studio version so other remastered versions wouldn't be as helpful. Thanks!
Thank you! It's a great song to practice of course, but I would consider 5 a.m. instead of Cluster One, a little longer and better, but cluster one is good for keeping the tempo as well.
Can this be done on a floyd rose trem that's been blocked to dive only for tuning stability purposes? Don't own a strat style trem because I like to down tune and play double stop bends.
I'm literally bothered by the fact that you're trying to prove with a lot of videos and sources, bro, have you seen your channel? You got nothing to prove! I have never seen this kinda direct tutorial with facts and everything. What a great video!
Agree 💯, quintessential how-to guide for Gilmour. Love the fact that the demos are without effects so they actually sound more accessible than the perfect Gilmour guitar tone MCKaya can also recreate at will, but for a beginner as myself this is so much more relatable. I'll have to search up Spark amp tone maps eventually.
I am a mark knopfler guy and like david glimour. Tho my play style is mk i also like to learn to play somewhat like david glimour. But then i have a problem. I am not a metal player and my mom found a song she like that is metal and now am forced to learn metal😩
With all to respect. You just play/teach four solos. It's really also the picking, harmonics (not pinch harmonics but subtle harmonica) the micro bends, vibratos, tremolo, etc.

It's great to see a fellow Turk making such great videos. Great video as always.

Merci ! Tu fais un travail admirable.
This is one of the best Gilmour orientated video I've seen.
Thanks !! Make more videos like this please.

Awesome video, I agree with you 100%, and I thought I could play Gilmour, mate you are next level, respect toy you sir 😎🎸
You're now one of my favorite YT Guitar channels. Cheers, and thanks for this one!
I didn't expect that this video would be sooooo much detailed. Great work. Thank you.
Love your channel. Keep up the good work 👍
That solo of yours at 4:40 is truly beautiful. Giving me chills man that is just awesome playing not to mention the tone is just out of this world
thanks Will! I will cover the great gig in the sky like that with tabs and everything
@@mustyguitarthat would be amazing!!! Please do🙏
He nailed it. THAT'S AWESOME
Thing I like about Gilmore's playing style is it's tasteful. Not a lot of blazing notes run together.
So much feeling in those Any Colour You Like solos from The Dark Side tour
ow yeah!
All Gilmour all the time. My kinda channel 👍
This is my Dream channel. Thanks!
Thanks for the great lesson. I’ve got some practicing to do!
ow yeah!
I've been enjoying your content. A dream come true! I am curious, though. Why do you have the band on your picking hand?
Thanks for what you do.

That question mark on the artist around 3:40 is Joni Mitchell…one of the top folk singers of the 70s.

Nothing like David, but the influence is all over a lot of rock arrists’ playing. Also Joni’s enploying later of some top jazz guitarists and bassists.

great!!! i love any tongue solo (pompei version) thanks
This is a Masterclass 🤓🔥🎸🙌🎶
How is your tremolo arm set up? Looks like you have set it to float, but just to make sure.
thanks so much. Mr G himself probably checks your site if needed for quick reference :)
3:32 The other folk singer that Dave is talking about is Joni Mitchell!
Thanks Mate❤
Like to see how you have your bridge set up..
Nothing special, maybe a bit more relaxed than stock
Exercise 5: Have to deal with Roger Waters all the fkin time
What is the model of your guitar? Fender Player, Reissue 50s, 60s, Ultra, Pro II... ???
it's a 57 reissue CiJ strat, FSR.
masterclass! thank you. what king of plectro ? I think is not very hard ,nylon?
What gauge strings you using? I read somewhere Gilmour uses 11s, which suprised me...
Why do you wear the band around your picking hand?
Btw, I am trying to play the final part of the solo from money but I have a 21 fret strat. How can I replace that section or do you know a better way? Though I really want to nail the studio version so other remastered versions wouldn't be as helpful. Thanks!
you need to bend a half step more actually, but that takes practice to be in the key. god bless pentatonic scales :)
true and honest
How can I master tremolo if I only have a tele?
thanks for that!
Listen to your heroes' heroes.
Superb advice.
Super cool video thanks. BTW what is that thing over your hand? Is it just cosmetics or useful to your guitar playing?
I think he wears because of silencing the strings or something like that
what camera are u using and how many of them?
Hey Man, thanks for this! What do you think about the cluster one solo? I think it is also a good exersice because of the bendings and so on!?
Thank you!
It's a great song to practice of course, but I would consider 5 a.m. instead of Cluster One, a little longer and better, but cluster one is good for keeping the tempo as well.
What a cool channel, subscribed! ❤🎉
U know what's up man...thank you man....U get me
Can this be done on a floyd rose trem that's been blocked to dive only for tuning stability purposes? Don't own a strat style trem because I like to down tune and play double stop bends.
try it
This fine man could give david a lesson ….. im talking about my friend david …..
Song name?
I like it man was very good
Do you know what string number does David Gilmour use when he plays…?
10-48
@@mustyguitar Thank you very much Mr. I appreciate it ✌🏽✌🏽✌🏽
Is ur Tremolo floating or fixed?
It’s not that floating but rather relaxed, I loosened the screws just a bit

@@blackstrat7 he is just teaching four solos. Not technique or style (in detail).
just think like dav gilmor
i left to play guitar because I can play like Gilmour ir`s impossible hahaha hahaha
funny
I can't spend all my energy to play like somebody else.
Sorry but you're far away from the Gilmour touch
