    What blade are you using on that Ryobi saw? Cus that is not a metal cutting saw right?

    • @GODSPEEDGarage
      @GODSPEEDGarage  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @axtra92 it's a 10" Diablo Metal Cutoff saw blade... no it's not a chop saw designed for cutting metal, but it works ok for thin stuff like exhaust tubing. I recently obtained a proper chop saw for cutting metal, so the Ryobi is being converted back to what it's designed for - cutting wood... thanks for watching!!

    How many days did you spend on installing the Mustang 2 front clip?
    Can anyone tell me?

      it was over the course of a week, but in my spare time and slowed to get the camera shots right... total I'd say you could do it in a weekend if you worked long hours. measuring and double checking everything took the longest. hope that helps

    The only confusion I have is how do you seal of the part that runs the the mufflers when bolted onto the exhaust and you want to run the cutouts by taking off the cover plate?

    • @GODSPEEDGarage
      @GODSPEEDGarage  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      you don't. traditionally cutouts operate by just removing the cover plate. exhaust gas will find the shortest out. that being said, I have seen a company that makes cutouts with a slider that closes the pipe going to the muffler. they were expensive, and I don't know how much of a difference it makes. hotrodders have used cutouts for years without blocking the pipe going to the mufflers. hope that answers your question! thanks for watching!

    why all that when u can buy them fo $50

    • @GODSPEEDGarage
      @GODSPEEDGarage  5 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      I was waiting for someone to point that out! ha! well... here are some excuses... I mean reasons: 1. because I can 2. because I needed/wanted a precise fit (I think I mentioned that in the video) 3. to show that it can be done 4. I would've had to modify the aftermarket ones anyway 5. it was actually about $50 worth of material 6. I like to challenge myself... anyway, you're right... it would've been easier (maybe) to just buy the aftermarket ones... maybe... THANKS FOR WATCHING!!
