saw this on srt forum. never thought of that. it's pretty cool. good luck and hope it makes it into production. I'd buy one but I use an electric cutout due to my laziness ;-)

Steven Shook Its simple and does the job. No other design can direct 100% of the exhaust to the atmosphere . Plus the only design to stop the turbulence from the Y pipe.
Kevin Jonker The DirectFlow design not only gives you the best exhaust flow, but will put you in great position to win all the loud exhaust competitons you want to enter!
+Kevin Jonker We have a new, more compact design of the DirectFlow Exhaust Cutout, to present to the automotive enthusiast! Check it out at :th-cam.com/video/zhg8FJyPXjk/w-d-xo.html
You probably need to make an electric version to really compete with other products. And thats what i would buy. Ive messed with these manual ones before and its a pain in the ass unless you only actually use it at the track. But for an daily driver car its not practice.
Hi Nick, we have an electric design in the back of our minds but between sealing it, plus keeping the motor alive is a monumental task. No one that produces an electric exhaust cutout can deliver turbulence/restriction free flow. Butterfly designed cutouts have that drawback, plus the butterflies freeze up, leak etc. This is why we have brought out, what we believe is the best manual exhaust cutout design available. Also many gearheads won't need to return to the street insert all the time, if they like/want an aggressive catback. We appreciate the input!
Not at all Allan. It is very tight. We supply 18-8 Steel bolts and stainless lock washers. Check out our new design which is much more compact! cuthroatcutout.com

Hello yootoob. Unfortunately, electric = compromised flow and turbulence. No electric design will give you the best performance. The decision is better performance or controlled exhaust leak? Here is our most recent video: th-cam.com/video/3Ch4hCTPTZw/w-d-xo.html
+Kevin Jonker lol,,,at the end of the collector have a 1 foot pipe with a slip clamp on one end and a collector flange (if your headers use a flange, mine doesnt) on the other end. remove clamp and collector flange bolts, slip pipe off. This also allows the opportunity to have tuned collector extensions if you race the car. Of course when you remove exhaust system or bypass mufflers you need to correct the tune for the power increase you get
Great breakout Kevin. So simple yet so effective! This is really awesome, I hope it works out for you!
Arturo Rojas Thanks Arturo, Hopefully we will see what the horsepower freaks have to say!
Awesome dude i have always know you get half the flow and it was muffled slightly but you solved the problem

You can put a 3" turndown in there with a flange to bolt up to it.
+88TransAmGTA We will be debuting a new compact design very soon that should be our final design for production. Stay tuned!

Sounds VERY feasible...So simple; for a more free-flowing exhaust...Hope to see it in use, on a vehicle, very soon.

If you are interested in an eletric version
Does it vibrate due to the two piece setup? So when I'm throttling will it vibrate like a can or be solid ?
