Yeah, that's what it should sound like. V8 power! It actually sounds similar to the old '79-'91 models. But I do have 40 series in my '89 Crown Victoria LX.
@@HumCo34 Thanks. I have flowmaster replicas as of right now. My air bags went out so I could only get down pipes until I get the bags figured out. Might just switch to springs.
Everything was replaced, complete new exhaust. And yes there is droning but it had 2500watt system in the trunk, 1 18" speaker tuned to 32hz so that took car of the noise.
Yes it has check engine light on because of the removal. I didnt notice any difference while driving it but im sure it needs to be tuned after doing that.
Why does everybody like flowmasters so much? I did an experiment with my last vehicle and the glasspack i bought from summit racing sounded SO much better than the flowmaster.
Not sure. Think it might be how deep they go, kind of a signature sound. I found some FlowMaster clones on Amazon for $23 shipped, they should sound just as good, and about 1/4 the cost
I have super 10s but I want a bassy deep pop I thought bout super 44 but they sound better on chevys like caprice impala roadmaster cutlass regal etc I'm getting some 40s original from the junkyard tommorrow hopefully it sounds good on my 08 p71 with second cat delete

This car had 2.73 gears in the rear. Its not quicker off the line but it does go fast. I have 4.11 gears in a crown vic now, That car is quick off the line.
If you fuckin with the vic shit come check out mine!! Shes under construction for the second time on 6's trust me you want be disappointed 💪🏽I post a new video weekly!!
Hey guy, 2 questions. How did you not get a check engine light for the secondary o2 sensor? And is it loud inside when driving? I have the same setup as you except i still have the front cats. H pipe, rear cat delete, flowmaster 10s, and tips oit back. But one of my cats has something loose rattling inside it and i think deleting the fronts would make it too loud?
I know this is an old comment, but did you figure out how to trick the computer? Mine has no cats. The spark plug non-fouler trick worked for me. Over a year now, still no light.
I didnt even have bungs to screw them into. Drilled holes and welded the undrilled nonfoulers in, then the drilled out ones, then the sensors, plugged them up, good to go!
Even if the area you live in and register your vehicle in does not do emission testing everyone should be aware that all emission equipment originally installed on a vehicle are required by federal law to remain on a vehicle. Running a vehicle on public streets without Cat's can be very very expensive. Fine's can be thousands of dollars, last I checked several years ago it was a $15,000 fine! With that said it is extremely unlikely that an EPA agent could or would catch you without Cat's, but if they somehow did you would be up sh!t creek without a paddle. The law says that not knowing the Cat's were missing is not a defense. I am not trying to be a troll, I am just saying that removing the Cat's is one thing, but advertising it on TH-cam with your license plate visible in the video may not be the smartest thing to do. I do like the way it sounds tho, I am not trying to hate on your car or the video. I just wanted to drop some knowledge. Carry on.
That is bull. A private citizen can remove anything. If a licensed shop does it, they are the only ones that can get in trouble. A private citizen can do it as long as they don't violate sound laws and emission tests. A used car dealer has to put cats back on in order to sell a vehicle that has had them removed.
Yes it does. These are the last of the "old school american v8 sedans" and deserve the sound. Its a modern throwback to the 60s and 70s land yacht v8s and to some people are incredibly stylish

I would suspect alot of highway drone, is this the case? I already have flowmaster 40s on my vic but am hesitant to remove any cats
Definitely drone noise. The stereo takes care of that though, 1 Skar Audio 18" ZVXv2 on a SKv2 2500.1D in a custom box tuned to 32hz.
