Its called a washer basket drive hub. Lots of them on ebay and amazon.

I wish you let us hear the sound your washing machine was making. We just replaced our washing plate. Then on my third load my washing machine started making the grinding noise again just not as loud.

My problem is removing that screw in the middle.

i had to destroy the whole plate with a hammer then use a gear puller to get the disk off
