For most folks this should do the trick but I tried similar with my old 3640 and I never could get the heads cleared but it sat for long periods between print jobs. If you use your printer a lot you shouldn't have those kinds of problems. The good solution and properly sized rubber hose for the syringe is really important and I found some that was pretty close but not perfect for the head setup on the 3640. The eco tanks use a different setup to feed the ink into the heads but I bet that hose would work for many printers that you can't easily remove the head to clean it. Good video, keep up the good work.
Thank you for the video, it will be useful to know, my ET-8550 is just arriving. (I could not image there are men on this planet not having a screwdriver in their households)
Thank you very much for this video. My printer quit printing in yellow, which I'm sure was my fault from not using the printer much. But along came a grandson and my wife needs lots of pictures. I don't see this being a problem again from here on.
So I have a couple questions, sir I bought your product two of them actually and one if there’s backflush into the syringe, can I use it on the next color or is that bad number two what are all the extra parts for I saw in your video only using the one syringe with the hose that came on it so what’s all the other stuff for? Could you make another video to go some more detail for the flushing of other stuff that uses all those other parts for the Kit, thank you otherwise great video. I hope it works.

What if the colors you've cleaned aren't printing after the power cleaning step? I do a print nozzle check and it's like there's still cleaning solution instead of ink because it's printing wet lines but no color.
Just keep printing and soon the cleaning solution will be used out of the Printhead and color will return. You can run a maintenance cleaning run to also speed things up.
My ET7700 started throwing blank sheets. I had been working on the ink pad which was saturated and had tilted it 45 deg. The data ribbon was wet with ink when I checked. Does ink short out electricity?
Add cleaning solution to ur capping station just enough to see it sitting on top. Slide ur print head over it. Let soak over night. Run a nozzle check. If problem still there. Repeat. Gotta be care pushing the cleaning solution through the printhead. Could blow a seal. One thing I’ve tried was disconnect my ink lines from the tanks and put them in the cleaning solution bottle and run a printhead cleaning. At that point. I was looking for the best way to clean my printhead. Hope this helps
I had similar issue, never used epson ink, cant print anything, I convert mine to ECOSolvent printer, the ink people wont return my messages or phone calls. Now I have an $800. paper weight. I am about to use it for targe shooting. UGH..wife not happy at all.. :(
I have a question. So i took the printer apart and put it back together. So whem I turn it on the touch screen panel turns black after a couple of seconds
The printed nozzle check is all good but when I print pictures on different papers (same papers I was usinf before tho) the colors are so faded and a little blurie. I miss so much printing beautifull arts 😢
The color is faded because there is still cleaning fluid in the print head. Do another cleaning cycle using the printer maintenance screen. (Hope you did this already the first time after flushing with cleaning solution). Your prints will get better as the solution is pushed out. Hope this helps.
I wish I watched this video first... I actually unscrewed the casing of each of the colors and cleaned it with paper... now all my pages are blank. Would this still help or do you think I damaged my printer head?
Hello I came across your video, I have an epson 8550 converted to dtf my white ink is clogged… how can I drain my white ink but by also saving it I just added it and realized it clogged don’t want to waste it.
@@BestPrinters thanks for replying! I tried to suction some and was lucky with just one of my whites the first tubing isn’t bringing up any of my white to save it. What can I do? Is my problem with the tubing then?
I did this so many time (not with this exact solution) but I did use printhead cleaning solution multiple times and for whatever reason my ink stays full and won't print. (Only happens with yellow)
My yellow ink won't print but everything else works fine I didn't a power clean and looks like the yellow didn't even get touched. Like it's not pulling through the line or something
Try using warmed up cleaning solution. There are videos on this channel and on my website best printertech.com that will show you how to properly warm up to cleaning fluid.
@@BestPrinters i did this, the cyan ink started to come out from underneath the printer!!? is that normal?? its a new printer never drop, havent printed anything but print head printing

Hi I know I asked this question before but I bought your product but when I went to follow your video the Epson you were showing is different to mine so I followed all until I got to the part we’re You have to flush and Had no clue what to do after that so I have the cleaning kit and no idea how to get to the part we’re I have to put the syringe if you can help I have an Epson ET 1500 thank you
I had a paper jam and it was printing crazy on it. I canceled the print and got the paper out of the printer. Since then it’s not printing correctly. I did multiple cleanings and the lines on the blue, yellow, & red still aren’t any better. I tried the solution and did the power clean again and those broke up lines are still there. Idk what to do at this point. Any advice? Or is it broken?
If this problem happened after you have the paper jam I'm wondering if some of the hardware got damaged if that's the case, you may want to get a new printer.
Hello! I have a 8550 and I purchased it in August 2021. Today a breaker was thrown...we live in an older home. I have never had ANY issues with the printer and use in very, very often. I flipped the breaker, but the printer NEVER powered back on. I have changed numerous outlets, changed the power cable with another Epson I had, done a long power button press, left unplugged for approximately 2-3 minutes, and connected it to my MacBook with the provided USB. It will NOT power on. My network nor my Mac even recognizes it. Any tips or things I can try? Epson support is closed until Monday. I am devastated its just gone. Thank you!
Mine is no longer printing the color I used the solution on. I've followed all of the steps and now nothing at all, it's like the ink is not even going through to print anymore
My ink was clogged(white only), so removed the printhead to clean it and put everything back to normal, did a nozzle check, now there is absolutely no ink coming out (no color no white), nothing wrong with the maintenance box either, i'm getting white pages, any suggestions on what to do next
Ok never set your screws where you can knock them into the printer so you spend 5 times longer getting the screw out them finishing the job you went there for, and it is not hard if you use the right tool for the job IE using a phillips head verses a stand for a phillips screw

Is this the same for dtf ink on epson ?
Nooooo if you have a major clog you run the risk of damaging the print head

Try restarting multiple times.

No its not necessary.

What can you do if the door and or tray didn't come out when printing? Do you have solution?
You may want to consult a technician, that is a bigger problem.
Ok@@BestPrinters
How is it printing blank pages ? And i have ink and i did power cleaning i can’t even print nozzle report
The printhead is clogged and so you need to use the cleaning fluid to break up that blockage.

Probably because you listened to this guy and sprayed fluid into your machine and shorted a circuit.
What are the steps if after I followed all these guidelines the ink isn’t pulling into the printhead?
Have you run a power cleaning?
