Quick question. Why would my white under base print gray. All nozzle checks and print head cleanings come out fine but when printing my under base is gray. I have the appropriate setting with my chose on 4. That you for sharing the video.😊
Usually Ink contamination, sometimes after a cleaning or when wet capping the inks can get be absorbed in different channels. Doing 1 or 2 prints in the rip should push out the dirty ink.
In your Ciss system setup video i see you ran the lines under neath the ink colors did you just switch the lines straight to the print head from the ciss system if that makes any sense
Your CISS set-up appears to be different than your other CISS videos in that the ink lines are running along the back. Is there an updated video for this set-up? And did you completely remove the ink lines from the tanks, or just cut the lines to remove them along with the travel lock?
Thank you for being so in-depth with your videos !! What do you suggest for print heads that are not stay raised for “ thick” paper … It is smearing all the time 😢
Did you raise the print head? There are 2 screws that hold the position on the level. one on each side of the head...they are towards the top of the print carriage
I just converted this new printer 8550 and the black will not print, but it seemed to print the black when I do the nozzle check. Should I follow the step above?
It may take a few times, I recommend using a stronger DTF cleaner, that is made to break down and dissolve DTF ink residue inside the printer & Printhead. aaprintsupplyco.com/products/color-max-cleaning-solution-1kg?ref=hangrymuscle
@@HangryMuscle I went back and noticed that because I removed all of the parts that there was a gap where the screw wasn’t seated all the way down so I torqued them down so that they were seated flush with the plastic and it’s working now.
@@HangryMusclethe video only shows the tanks being cleaned and the top of the print head. What about the rest of the lower parts? Do they need service like this somehow?
There is no need to remove the fucking printhead because "wetcapping" breaks down the ink residue in and underneath the printhead. I've explained this multiple times
@@HangryMuscle I started this extra cleaning because my whites weren’t printing at all so I did everything in the vid but neither of my whites are working still
Just an update, turns out my white lines coagulated, or solidified inside of the cis line coming from the exterior tank. No idea how that happens but I’ve ordered a new cis system and I’ve connected my lines directly to the print head tanks from the cis. Hopefully that will be the fix. Hope this helps someone in the future.
I took out my dampers and cleaned them all, but after a run a powerclean, none of the ink is going into any of my dampers, any suggestions? I pull ink through each of the tubes to check if there’s a clogs in my hoses but everything is good, just can’t get the ink back into my dampers for some reason..

Make sure the dampers and everything is connected properly and when you clean the printer it may take a while for the dried DTF ink causing clogs to breakdown inside the printhead. Are you seeing the all the colors on the paper towel?

I only ask that because i purchased your CISS system !

So my printer has sat for a couple months!! Should I buy the CISS system and start from there? Or try this method first!! Please HELP
How do I remove the transport lock?

So I did all this, but my printer is not pulling ink on a power clean. None of them. Idk what else to do.
Either it is not hooked up correctly so the printer can't pull the ink or it is still clogged.
@@HangryMuscle would you suggest taking out the entire printhead and cleaning the screens? Or would the clog more than likely be in the capstation?

I would double check your rip setting are correct.

Ammonia and Piezoflush mainly.
Thanks Bro💪🏿✊🏿

Im not affiliated and ammonia can get at most stores
Can I still do these steps if I don’t have a ciss? My white is clogged
My white is clogged what did u do?
Does this only work with ciss
It is easier with the ciss
Quick questions why did you stop using the external waste tank
Because it can cause issues and I do not do excessive auto printhead cleans or power cleans so my normal box takes awhile to fill up.
DO YOU USE THE CISS SYSTEM BECAUSE IT HELPS WITH CLOGGING?
Yes the ciss makes it easier to swap out the ink and flush out the DTF ink residue from the printer.
Hello, I followed the steps in your video and my yellow and red are still clogged. Nothing is coming out of either one

Hey I took off my travel lock but now it thinks it’s in travel mode with the lock on how do I bypass that?
I have mine completely removed, so i never run into this issue. Without troubleshooting I'm not sure.

How do u clean the print head once it’s removed
The printhead ""DOES NOT"" need to be removed to be cleaned, using this method.
