    TESTIMONIALS
‘Started hitting the moves laid out in these courses the very next class...extremely uplifting to have such a quick improvement in my game’ - Houston, TX
‘I’m the only white belt in the academy doing these moves…I’m suddenly competing at a blue belt and above level…thanks Coach Tom’ - LA, California
‘Some of the best strategies you are going to see for control and submission’ - London, UK
‘The detailed way Prof Tom breaks down his moves into the absolute essentials is just next level for me. This is absolute gold‘ - Sydney, Australia
‘Most of the guys at my Academy, have about 60lbs on me, but since purchasing your ‘Kimura Attack system’ and ’14 days’ everything has changed. I feel much more confident, roll better and the guys on the mat have commented on the same. Thanks, Coach Tom’ - Dallas, TX
‘I know you have your names for your courses, but I’ve renamed them the ‘Zero to hero’ courses, I went from getting constantly owned, to now being completely dominant on the mat in no time at all’ - San Diego, California
‘I use the course material heaps, and just recently put it into action at a local comp, walked away with double gold. No one was more surprised than me! - Miami, Florida
‘As a new white belt, these classes have helped me so much, Prof Tom’s technique, the details, and his attitude. I love how Prof. Tom shows the ‘mistakes people make’ and then shows the correct way of doing things. The only one I have ever seen do this’ - New York, New York
Great videos, great instruction. I just watch them for hours…Melbourne, Australia
‘The instructional saved me big time at a recent comp, my opponent was def more experienced, but that was ok, coz I had Prof Tom’s video in my brain. Nailed it and scored gold’ - Colorado, Denver
‘All of it. Everything you show in your awesome videos are now my ‘go to techniques’. Thanks for your vids Prof, Tom’ - Houston, TX
‘You really have to watch every second of the video because Prof, Tom drops these little nuggets of gold throughout the course. And they make ALL the difference. The only one doing this. Keep them coming Professor’ - NY, New York
‘If I could only be taught from one person, Prof Tom would be it. I can’t wait to train in person one day’ - Dallas, TX
‘Went to a recent competition with these videos fresh in my mind. I knew I had an edge and the confidence this gave me was unreal. Got the gold. All submission wins! - LA, California

I was getting smashed in a comp when I nearly pulled it out of the bag and sunk in an Ezekiel with seconds left but I couldn't finish. I went back to the gym, and watched mostly Grappling Academy's videos, and now I'm that guy at the gym. Thank you, coach Tom, I have leant BJJ always in a second language and coming to your videos after class helps me understand everything I just tried to understand in class. Cheers mate x

Amazing! I am a two months white belt and caught a much more experienced fighter by surprise today with the Ezekiel from bottom. I was in mount staging the Etekiel, he swept me back to guard and choked himself out while trying to posture up. Didn’t know what hit him. Awesome.

This is such a sneaky, disgusting choke to rip out against someone man. I've tapped higher belts with this choke just because nobody's ever expecting it. What a rotten, brilliant move to pull in a roll.
Swear I've tapped guys from bottom with good ol' Esneakiel as well. It's so cheap I always feel like apologising afterwards 🤣

thank you very much coach Tom! I'm in my first month starting Jiujitsu lesson. Today was my first gi lesson ever. At the end I rolled with a blue belt. I got him into a fisted Ezekiel inside his guard. He said "thats not gonna work" and then flipped me over into a mount. But I maintained the choke and got the tap! First sub ever and this guy was my instructor last week! Very pumped. Thank you for this video!

If you want to put people to sleep even when they know you are going for it (like you, Paul the Ezekiel guy), instead of sitting up right away after answering the phone at 4:25, you can stay low, push his head with yours from left to right, then push his head forwards with your right shoulder. It creates space to get your hand in when your opponent tries to tuck his/her chin.

"The danger of that is what happens if you don't have the gun"
Well, you're obviously not in Texas if you don't have a gun (lol). But its still a valid point...even if you have a gun, deadly force isn't (and rarely is) justified. Even when it's a completely valid use of force, you'll still most likely get sued for wrongful death and at the very least have a lot of police and court stuff to handle. Wouldn't it have been much easier...and FAR more satisfying to watch your attacker go nighty night?

But i just realised that we can follow the ezekiel attack with an arm triangle if he defends by bringing his arm in. Let's get aboard Ezekiel airlines!

I can definetely say that since I have started watching your videos i definetely improved my jiu jitsu and I won 3 gold in a row in Fuji tournaments! Eizekel chokes are my favourite ones but when I used it from closed guard (when somebody has me in closed guard) I could not submit. I guess I was extending my arms so that he did sweep me(... Should I squeeze myself in his guard and choke like this? thanks a lot for your time, Coach)

    1. (Full Mount from top position)Once your arm is in the back of his head, can you grab both of your biceps to finish the choke?
    2. I noticed that you did the Ezequiel choke from full mount position, back take position and bottom position. Can this choke be made from the north south position and/or the side control position?

So this one IS the bast**d that made me lose weight...by not beign able to eat for a week or so.
Long story short, decided to start bjj couple of months ago thinkin some self defence is nice to know and this bjj sounds fancy.
Well the problem was livin in a small town where most, If not all, the other beginers have had years of training in jiu jitsu, judo or some other fancy stuff and so during the first proper sparring got tossed a bit not knowing which is the floor and which the ceiling (breaking ones fall hadn't come up yet) and then got choked a bit not quite knowing, that tapping out is a good thing...
It's still fun (like the fun one gets from the Clubs, that prefer Black latex 'n cuffs) and I sorta like getting thrown to the deep end and either learn to swim fast or not, but I learned, that I WILL cover My neck from now on.
