I love Bernardo's excitement about the little but important details that make these techniques effective. "Man that's amazing" while getting choked :D I love it!
I've been watching a few of his rolls lately. I love this lapel stuff and have been using it a fair bit lately. I've also seen him do a sweet back take from this position as well. Cannot wait to see this series....
honestly just human language, he mean that it would be an honor for him if Andrew got inspiration from his game and that he shouldn't feel bad about it
Ive been hitting this without trapping the arm. Just by twisting the lapel and feeding it over the shoulder. Then just looping my hand through. If they defend then i have a b and c lapel choke available with ease
If I’m in someone’s closed guard and I pull the super Ezekiel up, then proceeded to stand up in their closed guard while still applying this choke while posturing up, would this be considered a neck crank? Or not, so long as one of their arms are wrapped with the lapel under hook?
I don't see the advantage of this version over the conventional top Ezekiel, in fact this looks more complex. In the position demonstrated, you should be able to already grab your top arm's sleeve, which is the same thing but without all the lapel pulling. I mean, there might be a rare instance where it's a better option, but again, looking at the video you're already in position for a conventional Ezekiel.
“And look at they’re friends and family in the crowd”😂 My 7 year old daughter did that in her first BJJ tournament. The other girl’s crowd was LOUD, and my daughter gave them a smile right before she fell into the armbar from s mount.
"The most important part of any choke is eye contact." LOL
bro i stopped at this point to see the comments lmaoooooooooooooo
Oh sh*t brutal
😂😂😂😂
Muahabahaha
Eye contact is most important:
Rear naked Choke: 0_0
Gonna come back and watch this 5 more times before class.
At least if not more 🤙
And still not get it lmao. Thats me all the time😂😂 Takes me like 2 or 3 classes before i stop forgetting
@@MinhaFamiliaAQBJJ haha for real though. I have to drill a ton for a move to stick.
Me too haha
Wiltse's side jokes alone make these videos badass. I can't wait to try this technique out on the mats tonight.
He explains his thought process so well, tons of knowledge!
Bernardo is really doing the Lord's work by taking a beating in every instructional, and doing it so enthusiastically. What a guy.
I want to see him roll with his guests
Its a huge honor for him after all
I've been hitting this left and right after I watched it on FB. Thanks andrew!
A sneaky variation of an already sneaky attack, I love it!
Andrew is all business, no bs. Awesome!
I love Lapel Ezekiels, can't wait to try this!
Oh I can hardly wait to do this. I love bow and arrows and most my teammates know this. Suprise!
I love Bernardo's excitement about the little but important details that make these techniques effective. "Man that's amazing" while getting choked :D I love it!
Wiltse’s content is legit, awesome stuff. Keen to practice this at open mat tomorrow 🤙
My favorite submission, Ezekiel.
Easy & efficient.
I love this Super Ez, 👌 great arsenal.
Thank you again Professor.
Oss!

Beautiful Big UP from France
If there isn't a Panda Express Gi or patch in the next year, I'll cry. But FR good video 👍
Did you cry
@@samieamriui9765 tears of joy!
That's a WICKED finish!
“Most important part of any choke is eye contact” love his sense of humor. I love when he sinks a technique in and says “get f*****” 🤣
OMG. I will make this mine. This was awesome. Big OSS
Wiltse did this exact move to me hahaha
Thank you teacher 👍
I love and use this sequence frequently!
Watched this video early this morning and pulled it off on one of my tough training partners tonight during our roll, thank you.
I have been twisting up the lapel for a long time and he is the first person I have known to do it as well.
SO SICK!!
Wiltse is my favorite
Awesome choke... Want to try this one with a modern jacket. Could be a great "street" technique too.
I think it will work amazingly well with a sport coat or even light rain jacket!
I didn’t realize you were a master of the art
0:44 i don't know what language bernardo is speaking here
Best comment! LOL
honestly just human language, he mean that it would be an honor for him if Andrew got inspiration from his game and that he shouldn't feel bad about it
He's speaking in "strange tongues"
Damn!!! I am sold!!
Nasty! Great lesson!
Great video as always. I love this channel!!!
Bernardo is so great, his enthusiasm is more infectious than measles, you can see how much he loves the art, it proper makes me want to be less shit 🤣
Oldie but goodie
Adding this one to the arsenal
Got this last Saturday in a tournament. I have been doing this when they don't let me wrap the lapel under their arm for a bravo grip.
Wow I love this one. Been looking for more stuff to do from side control, definitely adding this to my arsenal.
Incredible technique and explanation. Eye contact to your opponents family 😂😂
Good lord I’m so looking forward to trying this tomorrow. I see this is likely a high % move.

Funny I just caught the “eye contact with friends and family in the crowd” bit!
i've been using this alot
Mad respect coming from judo guy
Poor Bernardo man, guy is always the crash test dummy 😂 what a legend
Super sick 🤙
excellent!!!
is the right hand grabbing the collar as well or just staying as a fist?
If I’m in someone’s closed guard and I pull the super Ezekiel up, then proceeded to stand up in their closed guard while still applying this choke while posturing up, would this be considered a neck crank? Or not, so long as one of their arms are wrapped with the lapel under hook?
Genius!
never forget the eye contact
If that coke fails you still habe the tight graig johnes triangle option to finish 😍
That's nasty Andrew.
Dope

@ 5:46 poor Bernardo's neck cracked....
“That’s increhdible”
This is what happens when a gamer learns bjj
3:04 that's what she said.
2nd best comment! LOL
Hahahahaha. Eye contact
wow
Eye contact! lol
🤘🤙🧡
I can see how his eye got touched
Don’t get in the way of this man and his orange chicken
savage lol
ORANGE CHICKEN!
👀
Not necessary to trap his arm
“And look at they’re friends and family in the crowd”😂
My 7 year old daughter did that in her first BJJ tournament. The other girl’s crowd was LOUD, and my daughter gave them a smile right before she fell into the armbar from s mount.
And everybody stoop up and clapped. 🫡
Huge hornor for me to see this video 👌
Too bad this guy lost his mind.
Boring
