I love that its done right. The details on the S Mount, where the weight is, getting the arms away from the body, shutting down the bridge/roll and how turning away from the head tightens everything. I normally get it from the giftwrap, so i teach it that way, but people hold onto the giftwrap because they think the person will escape. I have to keep explaining that once you've turned it becomes tight AF, and the pressure on their chest and diaphragm is crushing. Its just nice to see people explaining those sorts of details. Thanks man, awesome job.

I haven't watched your videos in over a year. I've made a ton of progress in that time, and it has only made watching this video more enlightening. If I take nothing else away, I now see the simplicity and value of 2-on-1-ing their far arm to make space to transition your leg deep into a secure s-mount. You always come across as one of the friendliest guys I've ever seen too. Love your vids!

Wow, lightbulb moment. My academy likes to put us in specific situations to make us expand our skills. So like I don't have a lot of attacks from mount so what does my coach do....force me to attack from mount. But with a full class he can't always give me 10 minutes of individual instruction - enter The Grappling Academy. Thankyou so much.

High mount into S-mount has been the most efficient for me and im finally getting (fairly) consistent finishes, but at this point everyone knows what im up to lol.
