The Bible tells us this for the last days. Daughter against mother..son against father. I accepted the fact my daughter is just wicked deep down. That’s why I’m looking to move to the other side of town away from her instead of across the street.
When I tell you how much this blessed me. I literally am traumatized by the disrespect and vitriol I receive from my daughter who is 36 years old! As a single mom, I did it all for these children and it seems everyone in the world see value in me except this daughter. Thank you so much for this encouragement. My 20 year old son just gaslit me, manipulated me and left me tonight because I finally put some rules and boundaries in place. He told me to consider him dead to me. I have abandonment issues from my childhood and this was a huge trigger for me tonight. Your message was received at 11:11 tonight and I cried hearing it. Kids learn by imitation most, but in a lot of cases the child's not even a monster - they just don't want to have anything to do with a parent who mistreated them but won't admit it. Our children cannot make us feel like bad parents. That's a belief inside ourselves. Our wrong behavior is separate from our worth. We can better admit and change our wrongs when we separate them from our value of good or bad. Each person can change this incorrect belief inside ourselves so we can continue to learn and grow and change.
My beloved husband Gerald passed away on August 8th of 2022. We were married 27 years and have 7 children. Been lost, stressed, and struggling with my husband not being here. My body is tired and worn down, my heart is heavy, and my spirit is weak and weary. I had to put 2 of my young adult kids out of my house tonight for disrespecting me and cursing me out because they felt that they didn't have to do what I said. If their Dad was still living, all he would have done was stand up and they would have shut up with the quickness. I'm frustrated, grieving my husband Gerald, and still raising 2 that's in school. The Lord answered my prayers when I cried out to Him in my bathroom and removed them both outta my house without the police having to be involved. I agree 100 percent. I only feel for my granddaughter that my 26 yr old is using as a weapon to punish me for the consequences I gave her. These kids are watching videos on Tim too that brainwash them into thinking we are all narcissists. I had a mother that was far from perfect. Have two daughters I raised as a single dad who fought in court for them in order to have 50% custody to be in their lives and not be a weekend father. They now don't call, don't return texts and tell me how I didn't do this or that for them. I almost wish I had not spent that huge amount of money and energy in order to be with them. I would not have been worse off had I been a weekend dad. They are throwing away a great (albeit not perfect) father. I am not going to apologize or beg or anything. No f'g way.

I am literally in tears now. I have 4 beautiful grown boys. Their dad died about 3 years ago and he never did really work to support us but I stayed and took care of my family for 15 years and then became a single mom. By 22 years old I had 4 children. I never stopped working, I was never really able to get public assistance, I was at every game, we always had food, I finished college, and now at 45 my kids hate me. I’m not the coddle type of mom because I believe if I don’t teach you this world will and having 4 black men I knew the assignment and their dad was the friend so of course they hate me. I didn't want to go too deep into my personal story, but having a physically and emotionally abusive mom, who is still very much the same present day, and an absent dad who want nothing to do with me since the day I was born is soul crushing. When the 2 most important people who gave me life treat me like I'm nothing, it's hard to love myself or receive love from others. My soon to be 28 year old doesn’t want to work. Doesn’t want go to school. Talks to me disrespectfully and has a nasty energy. She wasn’t raised in an abusive household. I provided everything. Even paid for her rhinoplasty a few years ago.and still was unappreciative. She tells blatant lies to get out of being a responsible adult. Doesn’t contribute to anything in the household. Her father didn’t help me. I had to tell her she has to go in 30 days. Be an adult. Get a job. Get your own place. I’m done with the disrespect. She damaged my apartment and now my deposit is a loss not to mention the cost of damage beyond normal wear and tear.

OMG!!! You must have been reading my mind because I am in that exact situation with my 35 yr old son who i raised as a single mom (his dad passed away when he was 6.of cancer). I worked my tail off, raised him in church around good people and did whayever I could to make sure he had what he wanted and needed. He has just recently had the nerve to tell me of the things i didnt do ( buy him the car HE wanted for graduation...but i saved and got him a car, didn't buy him a paid of Jordan's but he had all the name brand shoes within my budget, let him play football in the 6th grade but i let him play in the 8th grade ans he quit after 3 wks ...etc. I could go on and on and your mouth would drop. These are just a few of the things which is why he says we don't have a good relationship and keeps my 4 g-babies away from me. He uses my gbabies because he knows that hurts me. I strongly believe he is a narcissist and I've just recently (in the last year or so) came to the decision to not allow him to keep hurting me. I know I was a good mother and others would agreed and tell me he was just spoiled and is now acting entitled and I have to pull away. As you said, there are so many kids that love me and I've helped over the years that actually think my son is out of mind. I truly needed to hear this and i will be saving this video. I have 2 children who have turned their backs on me with the help of my sister I have not talked to or seen my kids since Dec of last year, not even a call on Mother’s Day. I have shed a tear everyday since but this too shall pass
Please call your kids and just talk to them and show compassion. Unfortunately, todays modern society problem is anything from WOKE, BLM, METOO and LGBTQXYZ. We need to go back to traditional roots. The daughters have to respect the father and listen. These days, modern women have no respect to their fathers and that becomes disrespect to men now. I had to do the same thing last year with my second oldest. It about killed me, but I prayed for him everyday, and my love didn't change, but I had to distance myself. Sometimes, although we don't want to, we have to let them bump their heads. I pray for his safety, and I pray for your peace of mind, and that you find the strength to stick to your guns, as well as the strength it will take to deal with all the worrying us good mothers do. I agree with Ricky, I'm taking care of my children for a life time. I sent my children to private schools for the best education. Now they both doing well. Whatever way the chose to live it will be without my money. We all imperfect and we all didn't asked to come here either. Ricky I'm thankful to God they turned out okay.
I promise I am freeing myself. I told my Aunt that 2022 was gonna be the year of "I can show you better than I can tell you" for my kids. I'll be damned if they have not shown their whole ass in these first 5 months. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! They have not known a struggle, I keep good people around me and in their lives, they make the most ridiculous choices and have to come to me for help. And yet, no respect. My daughter has been punishing me for decades for not letting her be entitled. She left home at 18 because she didn't want to follow rules of the home. Of course she told everyone I forced her leave home. I am 76 now and am DONE DONE DONE. All these years I made excuses for her behavior.

I kept them and my xhusband prayed up .. my 5 daughters I still have all their certificates of honor roll...and prom queen every year 10th,11,12th grade ..all while recovering from two microvascular decompression of cranial nerve surgeries and learning how to walk again .God your amazing ...I love you Jesus ..

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I’m in my 60s and trying to prepare for retirement which I delayed because I tried to make sure my grown children were good. My grown child that I raised to have his degree from a private college, supported him in every activity he was in during high school, worked two jobs to make sure he and his brothers were good. Bought a vehicle for him when he was in the 10th grade so he could get back and forth from football practice. Then bought another one when he wrecked it in college while I took a smaller vehicle. I went without air and heat to make sure he had his utilities at college. Made sure he was in church every week. And this week he tells me he never felt cared for. That I didn’t parent him right that’s why he went to drugs and got in trouble. That the material things are not important. I helped this child move his furniture into a 3rd floor apartment without an elevator until I made myself sick. I’m heart broken and lost today. I have sat in the blistering cold and rain to support him in football and he says he didn’t feel cared for. He is now working in his field that he went to school for, but in his eyes the sacrifices I made wasn’t important because they were material. I don’t get it.

We can better admit and change our wrongs when we separate them from our value of good or bad. My beloved husband Gerald passed away on August 8th of 2022. We were married 27 years and have 7 children. Been lost, stressed, and struggling with my husband not being here. My body is tired and worn down, my heart is heavy, and my spirit is weak and weary. I had to put 2 of my young adult kids out of my house tonight for disrespecting me and cursing me out because they felt that they didn't have to do what I said. If their Dad was still living, all he would have done was stand up and they would have shut up with the quickness. I'm frustrated, grieving my husband Gerald, and still raising 2 that's in school. The Lord answered my prayers when I cried out to Him in my bathroom and removed them both outta my house without the police having to be involved. Lord, thank you for giving me peace in my home tonight. Watch over the 2 that you removed and continue to keep your unchanging hand on me by giving me new breath, strength, mercy, and grace everyday. Keep your heart strong, we need to push our kids out (set boundaries) as they say for them to grow up without us. Let them learn to sink or swim. They now don't call, don't return texts and tell me how I didn't do this or that for them. I almost wish I had not spent that huge amount of money and energy in order to be with them. I am literally in tears now. I have 4 beautiful grown boys. Their dad died about 3 years ago and he never did really work to support us but I stayed and took care of my family for 15 years and then became a single mom. By 22 years old I had 4 children. I never stopped working, I was never really able to get public assistance, I was at every game, we always had food, I finished college, and now at 45 my kids hate me.
I’m not the coddle type of mom because I believe if I don’t teach you this world will and having 4 black men I knew the assignment and their dad was the friend so of course they hate me. But I’ve had enough of being the punching bag emotionally and psychologically.

This was a Word this morning and I felt it was for Me! I'm that woman who is the neighborhood mom, Auntie, etc. I have biological nieces and nephews and two children. I also taught Pre-K so I have a ton of "babies!" And like you said those Other kids certainly Do Appreciate you more than your own seeds. Lord Knows I have done All I can for mine, yet my 24 and almost 18 year old love to make me feel like ish! Despite numerous apologies for not having a guidebook to parenting or having made mistakes. My soon to be 28 year old doesn’t want to work. Doesn’t want go to school. Talks to me disrespectfully and has a nasty energy. She wasn’t raised in an abusive household. I provided everything. Even paid for her rhinoplasty a few years ago.and still was unappreciative. She tells blatant lies to get out of being a responsible adult. Doesn’t contribute to anything in the household. Her father didn’t help me. I had to tell her she has to go in 30 days. Be an adult. Get a job. Get your own place. I’m done with the disrespect. She damaged my apartment and now my deposit is a loss not to mention the cost of damage beyond normal wear and tear.

OMG!!! You must have been reading my mind because I am in that exact situation with my 35 yr old son who i raised as a single mom (his dad passed away when he was 6.of cancer). I worked my tail off, raised him in church around good people and did whayever I could to make sure he had what he wanted and needed. He has just recently had the nerve to tell me of the things i didnt do ( buy him the car HE wanted for graduation...but i saved and got him a car, didn't buy him a paid of Jordan's but he had all the name brand shoes within my budget, let him play football in the 6th grade but i let him play in the 8th grade ans he quit after 3 wks ...etc. I could go on and on and your mouth would drop. These are just a few of the things which is why he says we don't have a good relationship and keeps my 4 g-babies away from me. He uses my gbabies because he knows that hurts me. I strongly believe he is a narcissist and I've just recently (in the last year or so) came to the decision to not allow him to keep hurting me. I know I was a good mother and others would agreed and tell me he was just spoiled and is now acting entitled and I have to pull away. As you said, there are so many kids that love me and I've helped over the years that actually think my son is out of mind. I truly needed to hear this and i will be saving this video. I had to do the same thing last year with my second oldest. It about killed me, but I prayed for him everyday, and my love didn't change, but I had to distance myself. Sometimes, although we don't want to, we have to let them bump their heads. I pray for his safety, and I pray for your peace of mind, and that you find the strength to stick to your guns, as well as the strength it will take to deal with all the worrying us good mothers do. I agree with Ricky, I'm taking care of my children for a life time. I sent my children to private schools for the best education. Now they both doing well. Whatever way the chose to live it will be without my money. We all imperfect and we all didn't asked to come here either. Ricky I'm thankful to God they turned out okay.
I promise I am freeing myself. I told my Aunt that 2022 was gonna be the year of "I can show you better than I can tell you" for my kids. I'll be damned if they have not shown their whole ass in these first 5 months. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! They have not known a struggle, I keep good people around me and in their lives, they make the most ridiculous choices and have to come to me for help. And yet, no respect. Also, you don't have to be cussed out to be disrespected. Their actions are disrespectful. My children have never seen me disrespected by anyone, I never even kept drama around them to experience but yet, here they come bringing it to my doorstep. I am practicing praying more and saying less. At this moment I am fish grease hot and brokenhearted, but I know I've done my best. I know I have done my best and it was a phenomenal effort. I thank God for the strength.

Thanks Ricky, my Step daughter put me thru hell and back, from being disrespectful, pregnant early age now me my wife got custody of our grandbaby, she was very disrespectful, talking to older guys, fought her mom, stealing our car and wrecked it, leaving out in an early age, dropped out of school, she didn't like discipline and she's married sleeping in a car with her non working husband and she don't be in her child's life....IT WAS VERY CHALLENGING, BUT I THANK GOD FOR STANDING BY MY SIDE!!!

PRAISE THE LORD 🙏 thank you for the word of encouragement because I truly am experiencing this with my own kids. I thank God for the word this morning because I was feeling a little down about it. But Glory be to GOD for sending a word to let me know it is okay and I do not have to feel any way because my own kids do not appreciate me and the sacrifices that I made for them.

My daughter has been punishing me for decades for not letting her be entitled. She left home at 18 because she didn't want to follow rules of the home. Of course she told everyone I forced her leave home. I am 76 now and am DONE DONE DONE. All these years I made excuses for her behavior.

It's like you try and try and pray and pray, and some days, you just feel like you don't have anything left in you. No one expects their children to grow up and make all these bad decisions, even after you have warned them, pleaded with them until you're blue in the face. We all want what's best for our children, and it is like they know, but they fight against it.

I kept them in church and gave wisdom structure...order .I thank God . I kept them and my xhusband prayed up .. my 5 daughters I still have all their certificates of honor roll...and prom queen every year 10th,11,12th grade ..all while recovering from two microvascular decompression of cranial nerve surgeries and learning how to walk again .God your amazing ...I love you Jesus ..

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I’m in my 60s and trying to prepare for retirement which I delayed because I tried to make sure my grown children were good. My grown child that I raised to have his degree from a private college, supported him in every activity he was in during high school, worked two jobs to make sure he and his brothers were good. Bought a vehicle for him when he was in the 10th grade so he could get back and forth from football practice. Then bought another one when he wrecked it in college while I took a smaller vehicle. I went without air and heat to make sure he had his utilities at college. Made sure he was in church every week. And this week he tells me he never felt cared for. That I didn’t parent him right that’s why he went to drugs and got in trouble. That the material things are not important. I helped this child move his furniture into a 3rd floor apartment without an elevator until I made myself sick. I’m heart broken and lost today. I have sat in the blistering cold and rain to support him in football and he says he didn’t feel cared for. He is now working in his field that he went to school for, but in his eyes the sacrifices I made wasn’t important because they were material. I don’t get it.

Thank you Rickey, we have done our very best and they can still be ungrateful etc. I worked my tail off and still kept a clean home and had dinner on the table every night. I have released this pain and learned that they will regret the things they have said after they become parents themselves 🙏🏼❤️
