- We are taking a look at a Heater Meals 3 emergency self-heating meal. This is a very commercialized version of a civilian MRE or Meal Ready to Eat. I believe these have been issued by FEMA for disaster relief in the past. They are also an awesome little meal option for someone on-the-go or otherwise not able to find a meal elsewhere. The taste test went surprisingly well considering this was well past the best by date. I miss the chocolate peanut butter spread already.

I think these are set up pretty good and the FRHs really worked good. It is cool to see what other items they bring in instead of MRE components. Awesome Review.
I didn't have high expectations for this meal but it wasn't bad. I was very hungry though lol.
The package of salt should be used in the FRH helps make it hotter
I've used that trick a few times. This FRH didn't need it though, it was very powerful.
Fantastic video. I’m surprised to see how well they held up and all the extras. I figured it was like the Halal vegetarian mains the Canadians issue, with just the retort. Awesome.

Awesome video, my family were issued these during Hurricane Dolly back in 2008, and most of my family members weren't uh....not too happy with them lol.

I saw some at a gun show recently. They were just as old as this one so I'm not sure if these are being made anymore.
@@ReadinessRations I don't believe they are still produced. I bought one at the grocery store about 10 years ago and it was pretty good. I haven't seen them in several years though.

We just got back from Myrtle Beach and I had to watch a review...or 2....maybe more. Looks edible. The chocolate PB reminds me of Nutella. Nice review!
The chocolate PB was quite tasty... Not as good a Nutella but still good. I haven't been to Myrtle Beach in ages but had a blast the last time I was there.
@@ReadinessRations we only live 5 or 6 hours from MB, so it's an easy drive for us to scoot away to the beach.
Nutella is made from hazelnut and a lot more chocolate. This poor man’s version is much lighter in colour and much more dense. 🙃

Nope! It was still perfectly fine. I guess the candy coating preserved them.
