29:25 surprisingly the physics are pretty on point because the animators were tasked to take every individual piece of a car and give it an accurate height when they transform. From what I understand they had real mechanics come in and help the studio when giving the transformers scale
to add on to this a bit, when the cars become robots, their parts dont vanish in robot mode. Just about all the pieces have a place, as it should be !

@@iancruz6617i used to have one of those toys growing up. Turning it into a transformer was easy enough, but turning it back into car mode was quite difficult. Really shows how complex in concept and idea they were .
As a Transformers fan, it makes me so so SO happy to see people rediscovering this franchise again after it’s been seemingly forgotten for years now. We need all the attention we can get, especially since a new movie is coming out next summer.

Same!! It may seem petty, but I will never forgive Sentinel Prime for killing Ironhide. Immediately following Optimus, he's my favorite Transformer.

Foreal I remember watching this movie 3 times in theaters with my mom and step dad and then my friends it was so good everybody liked it
right, I still remember the first time I went to see it in theater, I was blown-away by the CGI, that was never seen before.
True, everybody I knew talked about it forever when it came out, from every age group
Except Star Wars sucked and still does.
It doesn't matter how many times I've seen the movie, the scene with Optimus and the other Autobots arriving on Earth will always give me the good kind of chills.
Fun Fact, when designing the transformers, they wanted to make sure all the parts were proportionate to their vehicle size. So their sizes are actually realistic if they were to transform. All the parts had to fit inside the vehicle and not overlap or merge (even tho in the first movie they had to merge a couple a few inches to make it work)
I remember watching the teaser trailer online in December 2006, I didn't if it was a Transformers movie or not, until I noticed that it was produced by Steven Spielberg and directed by Michael Bay.
Michael Bay almost didn't get the job as he didn't like directing kids movies until he read the script and liked it.
Robert Zemeckis and Joseph Kahn were considered for Directing the film.
The climax was going to take place in The Grand Canyon before Bay decided to have it take place in Los Angeles.
I saw this film with my dad and we loved it!

Whats really amazing is if you watch the special features for these movies, they made sure every single part of the car folded somewhere when they transformed. Which means no hidden parts that disappear or pop up out of nowhere. They wanted them to be realistic when they transformed.

Blackout’s transformation at the beginning still gives me goosebumps, this movie was everything I expected going in to it.
Yes Jane, Lindsay Lohan was in "Herbie Fully Loaded" (2005). Herbie was a 1963 Volkswagen Beetle first seen in the film "The Love Bug" (1968). Nice reactions to the original Transformers film, Justin & Jane!!!🎬👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽While the stories may not be the greatest in some of the sequels, the CGI with the Transformers improves with each film.
You can't call this the original transformers movie when we had the 1986 animated film
I saw that in cinema, it was a strange movie, even for a kid.
My brothers and I grew up with Transformers, mostly Beast Wars. When we saw the first preview on the big screen, we immediately made a vow to see this when it comes out. It did not disappoint.

Y’all should check out all of them so you can really see what the whole franchise has to offer. Obvious, a lot of people have negative things to say about the transformers movies but for some, it’s a guilty pleasure even knowing they’re bad. But a lot of things from these films had a big impact on later ones like the 2007 movie. I’m one of those people who just love watching these films and I actually recently watched them all again like last month. Again, I think y’all should check out all 5 and the bumblebee spin-off. Would make a great series to watch on this channel and to see what y’all’s opinions are about them instead of listening to the critics because the audience’s opinions speak volumes than critics in my opinion.
That first movie, hit all the right notes, all the right way. I've been a fan of TF since the 1980s--and star wars since the 1970s, and Star Trek since the 1960, so I am one of those 'kids of all ages', and this movie really was awesome.

Honestly I'm glad this movie has been getting alot more attention again after 15 years, probably due to the ending memes. To this day, this is still the BEST film interpretation of Transformers. Dotm might have the best action and Bee might have more faithful designs but neither of them made them feel as real as this one. The sound design, cinematography and score are just so ahead of Bumblebee that it's insane.

Michael Bey is a patriot and an open supporter of the military personnel.
Not necessarily the current Commander In Chief(President).
Probably his most significant film, is 13Hrs. About the defense of our personnel in Benghazi, during the Obama administration.
Bumblebee is by far more representative of G1 80's transformers. That Cybertron scene is perfection.

The opening of the movie give me chills just like the first Tobey Maguire Spider Man. Too bad everybody from the first film didn’t come back for the sequel like Anthony Anderson.
It was originally a toyline,then a cartoon, then the movies based on the cartoon,then anime and comic books, a CGI anime adaptation was made called "Beast Wars" and "Beast Machines" to cash in on the success of "ReBoot" with kids and it had mixed reception upon initial airing but now has a cult following because of David Kaye`s iconic Megatron voice "Yeeesssss!"and finally the live-action films. Fun Fact:These films are the reason JJ Abrams and Paramount made Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci executive producers and visual effects designers for Nu-Trek.
I was so pleasantly surprised by this movie! Never watched any Transformers growing up (70s kid here), but obviously I was aware of the concept when I first watched the movie, and it really made me wish I HAD grown up watching Transformers. It gave me that feeling of watching Star Wars as a kid, and when I showed this to my nephew (who did grow up watching the cartoon Transformers) when he was like 7 or 8 he absolutely freaked out. xD
Hearing Optimus speak and the transformation sound made me feel like a kid again. No cap💯

You know I'm 39 this year and I know nearly all of the names of the Autobots, Dinobots, Constructicons and Decepticons cause I'm sad. Big Transformers fan. My favourite Autobot is Ultra Magnus and Sideswipe, and for the Decepticons I'd go for Soundwave and Ravage.

OMG!!! The parents honestly made the movies!!!......... If you want a good TV Show w/ the Mom she was in this series in the 90s called "Grace Under Fire" ... I think it was a castoff of "Roseanne" OR was from the same writer?? it's definitely worth a watch?
