It was tough but as I assume you felt, there's so much pride in finishing a 6 month deployment. On the first cruise we left on June 23rd and came back on December 20th. It was the best feeling in the world when we came into the Chesapeake Bay and could see Norfolk

One of the parts I loved about this movie was how at the beginning, Sam's dad was rushing to send him off to college and essentially get rid of him. After seeing him in the desert when that decepticon released them, the dad didn't wanna let go of Sam. To me it really warmed my heart!
Elita-1 used to be Optimus's love interest. She used to be called Ariel and was remade by Alpha Trion in G1 after being shot down by Megatron along with Orion Pax at the docks where he worked (In G1, Optimus was a dockworker, not a data clerk)

I feel like killing Optimus Prime in any incarnation of Transformers is a punishable offense. At least they had Optimus get some payback by forcing Megatron to shoot himself in the face with his own cannon before executing The Fallen, who by the way has a real name: Megatronus, who happens to be one of the original Primes.

I was shocked when I first saw that Alice was a Decepticon. There's actually comics connected to the Bayformers explaining her origin. The comics say that Alice was never real. The Decepticon saw a life-size doll called Alice (based off of Alice in Wonderland) and took its form and name. Others like to think that there was an Alice but was killed by that deception and replaced her. That real Alice was when she passed Sam in the hall to leaving his car. The Decepticon could've killed her when she was walking alone at night. Later on, that's when she starts to act weird and more aggressive because that's when she was replaced.
Navy Aircraft Carriers carry about 5000 people, the ship that got attacked was the USS Roosevelt iirc. Also at least one of the Naval ships shown in this movie is a submarine that, for some reason, shows its crew wearing uniforms with the symbol for the USS Vinson, a carrier. Which was a little weird.

In that continuity he's portrayed as an indestructible dimension hopping transformer who joins whatever side that best benefits him and when it inevatibly blows up in his face he travels to a different dimension to try agian (Sometimes faking his death to do so). The character has appeared in other continuities like Transforerms Animated where it is strongly hinted at that he is the same Sideways from Armada on another dimension hop and even ties into the movies as well. So the Sideways in the movie is the exact same character as the one from the cartoons
they're in Jordan, NOT Egypt. That's not a tourist attraction, that's the Nabataen (ancient Jordanian) Treasury building, a once key stop on the Silk Road where bartering exchanges and purchasing of goods and wares were made.
The red and the green one was a great idea in my opinion and they were a hilarious addition because there are transformers and moments that I know of that they remind me of a d my dad and I liked them when I was growing up I'm glad they added them in the movie because they fit their moments and show they have personality. They would be like grimlock.

They didn't actually kill the other constructicon when resurrecting Megatron. They just took some parts. Other parts were taking from the dead Decepticons from the first movie too, particularly the tank parts from the tank bot Brawl.

There are a lot of decepticon clones (like Scrapper, Longhaul, Brawl the tank) that make their reappearances in the second and third movie

Because some people don’t know how to enjoy a movie for a movie instead they sit there reviewing and critiquing every single little thing. Transformers should be watched for the action and comedy not the story line.

30:19 That is NOT Blackout but rather another helicopter Decepticon named Grindor (even though they share the similar body type but different helicopter models), not only that but Bonecrusher also makes reappearance as a clone/drone (A Decepticon that looks like Bonecrusher, but is rather just a simple clone). Also Scorponok didn't die in the first movie, he just lost his stinger/tail. There are a lot of decepticon clones (like Scrapper, Longhaul, Brawl the tank) that make their reappearances in the second and third movie

Im not sure if anyone explained it before me but the helicopter that picked up sam wasn't blackout he did die back in the first movie its a different decepticon they had a tendency to re use models for the decepticons that are background characters
