I don’t mind a Transformers and G.I. Joe crossover to be 3hrs long. Like a 3hrs run-time. Totally worth it. Hope Anthony Ramos, Doninique Fishback, Hailee Steinfield, and John Cena comes back.
Since it’s a reboot and sadly not a prequel to the Bayverse (even though he produced this film and Bumblebee), I also hope that Dylan O’Brien could return to voice Bumblebee again once or if he gets his normal, regular voice back (unless if they still should use the radio to help him speak)

For those who don't know yet, Bumblebee and Rise of the Beasts are a completely new universe, they are not the Prequels to the Bayfilms!

Bumblebee is one heck of a fun ride. It has action, humor, heart and character, as well as a plot that respects the source cartoons.
Bumblebee is not a prequel! It is a reboot!

I love the sequences showing the war on Cybertron and the bond between Charlie and Bumblebee. I especially love the casting of Angela Bassett as Shatter (the red Decepticon) and John Cena was hilarious as the doofus Agent Burns.

Charlie is so clearly in so much pain--so much so that she has to reach out to a robot for comfort. So it's just so perfect that her stepdad gives her the "Smile" book. Just completely tone deaf to her despair. And her mother knows there's a problem, but is so tied up in her own thing that she has no idea how bad her daughter is hurting. Lot going on besides an interstellar robot war.
I don't think bumblebee crashed down in the first movie, he was already there as a car.

The main Decepticons were not named on-screen for some reason, but to give you an overview:
Jet Decepticon at the mine: Blitzwing (voiced by David Sobolov, the same voice actor for the character Depth-Charge in the original Beast Wars show)
Red Triple-Changer: Shatter (voiced by Angela Basset)
Blue Triple Changer: Dropkick (voiced by Justin Theroux)

Also, to answer his question, yes it is the prequel to Transformers. Cause I remember in Transformers Optimus Prime said he lost his voice in battle and at the end when she said

It's not, it was originally intended to be a prequel but they scrapped the idea mid production and made it a reboot instead, bumblebee and rise of the beast takes place in their own universe separate from the bay movies

2:35 I agree I want to see a movie about this cybertron. They just showed Michael Bay that he could do G1 characters in live action. 5:50 he’s not supposed to interact with them. His mission was to protect earth and stay in hiding. 18:42 they weren’t considered safe cause they were very light. Plus I believe they crumbled up in a major crash. In high school we used to get four guys together lift the car onto a curb to mess with a friend. 21:58 that was pretty tame compared to what most kids see. If they wanted it to be really graphic they could’ve made the “slime” red and added some chunks to look like organs or body parts. 23:48 did you guys catch the agent that gave Cena’s character the info? Agent Simmons from Sector 7 (played by John Turturro in the other films). 29:39 Rick Rolled actually got more people to check him out. He liked this phenomenon cause he was kinda forgotten and now people get Rick rolled mostly go to find the whole song. 31:44 when this came out it was up in the air if this was going to be a reboot or not. In the first one Bumblebee didn’t crash on earth. He was already there in camero form watching Sam until he got to the age to be able to drive. 32:56 I think what Bee was doing was storing words and phrases in his memory to use when he needed it cause not always will there be a song or news show on with the right words. 33:54 internet was around for the government early 80s then public big time in early 90s. 47:10 had to laugh when the kid said she was touching his buttocks when she had her arms around him. 56:54 you have Angela Bassett as Shatter: A Decepticon triple-changer who transforms into a red 1971 Plymouth Satellite and a Harrier. 16:20 If it helps, they can all fly in the cartoon - they explained it that Autobots don't do it to conserve fuel, so they can get home more easily while Decepticons risk getting stranded by flying everywhere. Dumb reason, but there is a reason.
Just remember this and RotB is a reboot and is not a part of the Bayverse series. Which is such a gift, those movies got off the rails towards the end

You know, one of the things I loved about the Bay movies was the combat. While this movie is different, it’s still has awesome and dynamic battles! I think it’s choreographed even better than ROTB. (Like…fancier fighting)
Really hope Dylan O’ Brien comes back to voice Bumblebee again whenever in a Transformers & GI Joe crossover when they finds his real voice. I also wish and hope that the Crossover get a 3hrs run-time this time since The Last Knight was originally supposed to be 3hrs 2mins long, but moved it to 2hrs 32mins long.
I also hope Hailee Steinfield, John Cena, Jason Drucker, and Jorge Lendeborg, Jr all comes back alongside some cast from Transformers: Rise of the Beasts like Anthony Ramos, Dominque Fishback, Luna Lauren Valez, and Dean Scott Vazquez
Saw this one in the theater is a great movie. It is great to see Hailee Steinfeld grow as a actress. Now in Hawkeye and the voice of Gwen Stacy in the miles morales Spider-Man. The last modern Volkswagen Beetle rolled of the factory in 2019

The visual clarity of fight choreography in Bay's movies and in this one is like on two opposite poles. Hiring a talented animator as the director was a brilliant move.
bumblebee and rise of the beasts do a good job with fights so you can see who the hell is who. especially since they give them more vibrant colors like the animated shows and comics than bay's movies did. he always had the colors toned down or dulled and you especially couldn't tell a difference between the decepticons with who is who besides megatron cause they all had the same color scheme. it was good they decided to go all out with the color vibrancy on top of better fight choreography.
The cop who chased Bumblebee, Charlie, and Memo through the tunnel was portrayed by former NFL player turned actor Fred Dreyer(NBC's Hunter, a 1980's cop show).
This movie started off as a prequel. But the poor performance of The Last Knight led to this movie being modified into a full reboot. Rise of the Beasts is a direct sequel, and there's another movie in development set entire on Cybertron showing the early days of Optimus, Megatron, and the start of the War.
The truck at the end on the Golden Gate Bridge is confirmed to be Optimus

The Song From Transformers: The Movie
After watching the ending scene of the movie where Noah Diaz (Anthony Ramos) was being asked to join the GI JOE , it gets excited for the crossover. I also hope Ramos, Dominique Fishback, Luna Lauren Velez (as Noah and Kris’ Mother) and Dean Scott Vazquez as Kris Diaz comes back, and as well as Hailee Steinfield, John Cena, Jorge Lendeborg Jr., and Jason Drucker from Bumblebee to come back as well.
If they decide to bring back Bumblebee’s real voice, he can still use the radio to help him speak, but I just wish they could find his real voice with Dylan O’ Brien (who voiced Bee in Bumblebee until he lost his voice after it was ripped off after he refused to talk about where Optimus Prime was) coming back to voice him again
Imagine if Transformers and GI Joe crossover gets part 2 or 3 finale get a 3hrs run-time.

In bayverse timeline Bumblebee's voice capaciter was damaged by Megatron but in this soft reboot his voicebox was yanked out by blitzwing.
Cybertronians do have vehicles on their home planet that they travel in which is pretty strange if you think about it because they can transform into said vehicles, and yet they still use/used said vehicles.
Bumblebee is not a Quadron. He’s a robot.

I'm so glad that the reboot is focused more on the G1 aspect of things, it makes the action a lot easier to digest because you can actually see what's going on, not to mention the transformations look really damn good, it's not just a cluster of metal thrown together with a few bits of the vehicle stuck on.
Jane's shirt is so damn cool! Great reaction as always, this movie was one of my favorites, I enjoyed the ones before but I'm so glad they did a reset for this franchise

This one's my favorite. Then the first. I find the rest not so great to unwatchable. I haven't seen the newest, though, so Rise of the Beasts might bump that.

As someone who has a car aligned to the Decepticon cause? I laugh when I journey around the suburbs and locate fellow cons and rival Autobots. Parked at my local train station the other day and ran into a dude who ended up parking next to me just due to the insignias on my ride. :D I also ran into another dude at the grocery store of all places who had branded himself an Autobot via an insignia tattoo... (I have a Decepticon one on my right shoulder.) We lined up at the register together unknowingly and a little boy who was standing behind us shouted : "Look Mum! see? I told you! Humans can join the battle for Cybertron!!" :D Such a hoot!! (and yes, The dude also had his vehicle allied with the Autobots.) :)
I loved Bumblebee. The bond between him and Charlie felt very very authentic and held so much more emotional impact and value in my eyes in comparison to Sam. (Still do like the Bayverse movies though.) I love how they incorporated the G1 aspects into it also.

Transformers always have a vehicle since Birth its not out of no where. You saw Bumblebee in vehicle mode on cybertron, along with Decepticon seekers, at the being of the movie.
I grew up alongside the bayfilms and since Age of extinction did i realize the damage it has done to the lore of Transformers because of it not conveying the information properly.
Bumblebee was a heck of a great Movie, but Rise of the Beasts is even better than this, its the best Live Action Movie so far!
