When the food is originated from land of spices, you can actually expect the explosion of flavour there..
For those who haven't tried Indo food before, be careful with their chilli, when the seller say it's spicy it means 10 times spicier than you expected, lol..
They dont play around with spices..

Indonesian cuisine is known for its rich, bold flavors and unique blend of spices and herbs. The country's diverse culture and geography have contributed to the development of a wide variety of delicious and distinctive dishes. From fiery curries and soups to sweet desserts and snacks, Indonesian cuisine has something to offer everyone. One of the standout features of Indonesian cuisine is its use of spices and herbs. The country's tropical climate has allowed for the cultivation of an extensive range of spices and herbs used to flavor many dishes.

In Medan noddle soup is very popular and delicious. Every region has its own food specials like Sundanese food is totally different and very famous. Raw vegetables dipped in Sambal Terassi is not everybodies taste but people from Jakarta love it. My favourite was Soto Batawi or Soto Bandung, Nasi Padang, Sate Kambing, Ayam or Cumi Rica2 and many other dishes l had in the 22 years living in Indonesia.... I miss the food sometimes but l am also cooking many dishes at home at an retire.
