I used to live at the apartments right next to pho79..lol..the restaurant was only steps away from my front door...it was awesome! We'd walk over to pho79 every month and bring the pho home to eat.

Pho with ox tail is one of the best if made correctly.

@rick2tube 101 is pretty much the same since it's the daughter's restaurant so it's the same recipe. But 101 is newer and cleaner 🤣 and the funny thing is, the parking lot is similar. Only one way in and one way out. There's no outlet. You'll see when you eat there 🤣

Wat the pho you did not go to OG Pho 54?
after spending Thanksgiving weekend eating around OC Vietnamese food and my mouth became tasteless.
don't know if it was the salt, msg, or fish sauce

I still havent found a place that could beat Pho 79's broth... There's is hands down the best still
@alexkeleman3099 You know what's up! I grew up with my dad's family who are northern Vietnamese and they made pho every weekend. Pho 79 broth is the most authentic broth that comes close to what pho broth is supposed to taste like. And they're consistent. Pho 101 is the daughter's restaurant and their broth is similar, if not the same.
I COULD NEVER EAT THE WAY YOU DO. AND I LOVE NOODLES. IF I EAT THEM, I HAVE TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL. CUZ THEY WILL MAKE MY SUGAR SPIKE TO 500. BUT YOU ENJOY.
It's hoisin sauce, not oyster sauce
Next time ask for fresh noodles, taste much better
And oil green onion root.
I don’t like Vietnamese pho cause it’s too sweet for me but I do like Thai beef pho.
