This video gets me to miss Indonesian food so much. Their diversity in flavor makes the food unique and hearty. Nonetheless, i just feel uncomfortable when I see him eating nasi Padang with fork.
Good video! Just a correction for sayur lodeh, it's not slow cooked for hours as far as I know. The veggies will be mushy if it is. I'm Indonesian btw.
Love how the host in representing this Medan culinary store, he must be a Bataknese, from his face form, bet on it. Horas, Anak Medan! (Medan, Siantar, Toba) GOD Bless!
ya tidak heran sih, zaman dulu2 kl yg jualan utk sarapan itu adanya nasi lemak, nasi sayur, lontong ( tentu dgn sayur2 dan lauk2 nya ), biasa juga ada yg manis2 yaitu lupis, ketan, pisang goreng ... jam 0630 udah mulai jualan, gk kebayang bangun jam brp utk masak dan siapin semuanya
I think it's more like a cultural pereference thing, especially for sumatran, although "enak" more well known and universal for most indonesian. I personally prefer to say "sedep" (javanese of sedap), it's like "the next level of enak".
Never had Indonesian food, besides Indomie Migoreng that is, and this made me want to try it now!
Indomie Goreng is just 1% of them 😁
Trust me it’s gonna be a big realization for your knowledge about Indonesian cuisine
Southeast Asian cuisine so yummy🤤 Indonesian food that I like is chicken satay, nasi Padang, and oxtail soup✅
medan chinese food is different. you should try.

In Indonesia we don't say "Sedap" But we say "Enak"
Hehe.

We usually use enak more than sedap but, nvm. Looks good there, grandma!
This Guy From Medan, of course they Will prefer use Sedap than Enak😅✌️.... And i am sumatran so We prefer use Sedap than Malay thought
in Sumatra we say sedap than enak more frequently especially if you're from the East coast Malay-speaking area
