that is a sweet rig your wife has...I have a Litespeed but one day would love a linskey. They are heavy but worth the comfort. I have two Brooks B17 each with about 25 thousand miles and I do not wear bicycle shorts. In 2020 I rode across the US from Vancouver WA to Portland MA and down to NYC and had not issues. Great saddle and great set up. Cheers.
wow- your a legend. good adventures! one day =) did some cross state century rides on a different bike but that was a half day gig only. definitely the new breed of bike (gravel) made it a little bit more stable in my opinion- she love the saddle =)
I have a b66 and a flyer as well as others That is a flyer Why do you think it’s a b66? It doesn’t have double rails B66 is also wider and has a texture on its leather surface
I have the Brooks Flyer, which is very similar to the B66. One key similarity is the strong springs. I had hoped they would loosen up over time, but that has not happened.
Wrong saddle for that bike. Period. Your wife is sat right forward . The Brooks is a 'hammock ' device, where you sit in the middle, upright. The leather then flexes between front to back, giving the support and comfort the brooks is designed to provide. Any improvement your wife feels is in her head not her But! I'm sitting here in England looking at a proper, new B66, with double CHROME frame rails. Yours is black. More like the B67. Go back and hear yourself read the box description. Both the B66 and B67 have an 'S' variant; S for short....for the ladies! Education is the best tool you'll ever have. Check out the Brooks range online.
Mi dispiace ma quella non è una Brooks b66, ma è una b67 oppure più probabilmente una flyer. La b66 ha un doppio binario e poi il grasso Profide non va applicato nella parte esterna della sella ma bensì nella parte interna

It is the Flyer model, not B66. The grease has to be put in the lower side of the saddle.
appreciate the info bud. i have applied the grease underneath the saddle.
Yup, grease both sides.
Setting mine up now. It feels very different. But pretty good. And not broken in of course.
my wife’s go to saddle
Wonderful Sister! Greetings!

The box says 1866; not B66…. that saddle is a Flyer.
Your wife knows her bikes. I just bought a used titanium and was amazed..
Is this good for Road bikes? I thought that the B66 is for casual touring and more of upright position

Anche la b67 ha i longheroni cromati ma un unico binario, quella è una Flyer
