Secret Santa Update: The family living in a camper who received a gift worth over $50,000

- For the past five years, we’ve been able to help surprise deserving people in eastern Idaho with gifts from an anonymous Secret Santa.
Many times we’re asked for updates on the recipients so every Monday, from now until Christmas, we’ll be posting an interview with someone who received a Secret Santa gift in the past.
Last year, we surprised the Crow family with health insurance for a year and $50,000 toward the completion of their home.
Erica and Brad had been living in their camp trailer inside a shop for a few years. Brad had been working on building their home when he fell and fractured his leg bone.
The accident led to a series of medical problems and the family wasn't sure what to do next.
It's been a year since the Crows received that memorable surprise. Find out how they're doing now in the video player above!
Oh my gosh, that little boy just cracked me up, reminds me of how my youngest son used to be. He’s in college now, no longer wild, no longer a class clown, no longer getting calls from teachers that he gets the class laughing and chiming in on his naughty behavior. Cherish that little boys happy wild behaviour, he will become a young man whom no longer is that wild child, but reserved, quiet, and disciplined in his studies. I miss that personality he had as my youngest wild child.
He is getting on my nerves! The fact that the parents don’t make him stop.
To be fair, if they had been too stern on camera, I'm sure there would have been backlash on social media. I hear you. It was difficult to continue with the video as it WAS distracting. He's probably just a very active boy who has difficulty remaining still. My son was like that. He's 26 now and is so chill. Thank goodness!!!
How cute when the little daughter comforts her mom and then bravely expresses such gratitude. She is a doll!
This entire story made me cry my eyes out. I pray for the fathers full recovery you can tell they are a great family.

Humility can also be learned from tragedy. My friend was always a modest person and when he died, It humbled me.
My personal theory. The eldest child in any family tends to be more responsible, modest, humble and in some cases the smallest amongst the siblings. Since he/she is the eldest, more time is spent with the parents.
So true , she made me cry such a true heart . My mum always says “ there’s always someone worse off so there’s no point feeling sorry for yourself, help others “ and her favourite “ I felt sorry for myself because I had no shoes until I saw the man who has no feet !!”.
I would like to personally thank the anonymous donor for making the world a much better place by helping regular people who are down & out. And Nate is so personable & makes people feel comfortable. So sweet.
What a unbelievable deserving family! Mom making sure that she mention as many folks as she could do in that short time who did the things. The dad who deeply thanked Secret Santa for changing their lives. Precious princess who mentions the homeless being more deserving while she delights in the orderliness of her own room. And little mister with his exuberance! What a precious family!! You DID deserve this blessing from God through Secret Santa, delivered by Nate and EIN Elves! It was a true crime case that brought East Idaho to my attention. Im hooked on Secret Santa and Feel Good Friday, and the cant remember what they call it , I think its Life Lessons, they talk to elderly people, and older couples. Im really considering moving my family there!

This was a great update, cause the original vid really got me in the feels. So good to see how the gift itself spiraled into a community effort to help these guys build their home and get rid of a portion of worries. The fact that the little one is goofing around like he does, is a real sight to see. It displays kinda like the happieness, everyone should have as a kid.

There I was in the feels with Mom talking and getting choked up, and the son’s foot pops up. I went from almost crying to laughing hysterically. One of the few Secret Santa moments I was somehow kept from crying. Thank you, young man! 😂

I', sp glad to see this update after watching this on TH-cam several months ago I mailed Nate to ask for an update and he got back to me and asked me to keep an eye out for it as it was coming soon and hey again he did not disappoint.
