Woman using a borrowed car shocked when some Secret Santa elves show up with a big gift

- A Secret Santa is back and this Christmas is bigger than ever!
The EastIdahoNews.com team is busy helping a local man gift more than $500,000 this holiday season. A lot more. Secret Santa is a real person who wants to remain anonymous and hopes to help as many individuals in our community as he can.
Diana came to the United States from England when she was in her mid-20s. She has worked hard as a single mother raising her four children to adulthood. She has worked more than full-time to make her financial situation work. She has a full-time job at a doctor’s office and for years, she did grocery demos on weekends.
This year has been tough for Diana. Her car was totaled when someone ran into her and when she was borrowing a car, she found the driver’s door frozen shut. She tried to get it open and it broke in the process. She needed to come up with the funds to pay for the broken door on the borrowed car.
Then one morning she woke up and was having problems with her eyes. She had to rely on others to get to the doctor and said at one point, "This is hard. I am usually the one that gets to help people."
After eye surgery, Diana has been able to return to work but she is using a borrowed car and is unsure when she'll be able to afford a new vehicle.
Secret Santa heard about Diana and asked the East Idaho News team to surprise her a few days before Christmas with some nice gifts. Watch the video above to see what happened!
Last year I was standing on an over pass rail road tracks bridge determined to finish it right there and for some reason my daughter’s image came to my mind and I called it quit, then I discovered these videos and they gave me lots of reasons to fight and go on with my life, definitely there are persons that are having a tougher lives than mine and yet they’re happy and willing to live not matter what.
I'm thankful your daughters face showed up in your mind and changed your heart and kept you here. I've had those thoughts too. But as you said I see these videos or learn of others that have far more troubles than I do !! Bless you!!

The thing is, most of these people would be happy with a 5 year old car that runs great and looks great. So actually the Secret Santa could be giving out more cars for the same amount of money they spend on just 1 car. It's like if she needed housing. Do you think she would care if she got a 30 year old home over a brand new one? I think not.
Whoever this secret person is, I hope and pray his wealth multiplies by a ton so he can give more and keep on giving. A gem of a person. Changing lives, and helping people in need.
Either someone who made it big through the stock market, or someone who inherited a lot of money and was already very humble, didn’t know what to do with most of it. So have it away
The funny thing is... regardless of how happy she is receiving this car, most viewers and I think the Secret Santa is just as happy if not more seeing such a touching story.
I love when they’re so grateful for the first gift and they have a car waiting for them to be surprised with.

@@flyme2009 I think American accents can be a bit stronger :) It all depends who she’s been around. If her children were born & raised in Idaho as well as working there, she’ll have adapted her accent naturally. Whereas if you move with family, you often keep the british twang! My brother moved to San Diego from the U.K. 5 yrs ago & still very much sounds british. I’m not sure how I’ll feel if it vanishes lol! But he’s in his 40’s so he may end up keeping it. I love accents :)

I live alone myself, and have outlived everyone in my extended family. I will be 74 next January, but still in reasonably good health. I moved from NW Indiana, just a few blocks from Southside Chicago because it was becoming far too dangerous for an old man living alone. I now live in the deep forest in Hot Springs National Park, Arkansas in a lovely and modern "Mother-in-Law Cottage" on the property of a very generous and kind landlady who recently bought the large mansion just up the hill from me and agreed to rent this little gem of a cottage to me.
In 1998 I lost my mother to dementia, and in 1999 I lost my step-mother, my father, and last of all my only brother to hepatic cancer. Since 1999 I had given up celebrating Christmas altogether. Having just discovered this wonderful series of "Secret Santa" episodes, this year (2022) I again have joy in my heart and will be celebrating Christmas once more. I too wish Arkansas had a familar "Secret Santa" program.

May East Idaho news be an example to others that are able to help those that are in true need. I have five children two are autistic yet our Help of Nevada, Salvation Army, 211… Are out of resources. Mind you I reached out to them end of November early December. Yet as of today they were still asking for donations. We have always donated. Now that we are in need of help, there are no more resources available. God bless!!

About the same time this video was released I was with my family enjoying our Christmas Eve dinner. My Dad (90 yrs old) played Secret Santa this year (we had all agreed on no presents as it’s been a tough year for everybody).
Dad decided that we all needed something special to cheer us up but the gifts were both shocking and unbelievable.
My brother and I were both given a new car 🚙 (I’d been borrowing a car for a while now)
and the rest of the families gifts were just as astounding. Needless to say I have been in tears for about 3 hrs and still can’t believe it! Talk about a shock to the system.
Anyway, long story short, I know how this woman is feeling, so THANK YOU to East Idaho Secret Santa 🎅🏼 for making someone feel so special. Blessings from Australia 🇦🇺

Im from the Uk and I tune in to watch this everyday that its on. An absolute pleasure to watch... especially given the year we have all been put through.
There's many high level people that are shoved in our faces all year who have 'loads of money' ... we all know who they are. They could do things such as this everyday of the year and create so much good feeling, whilst not even missing the money, yet they chose not to do so. At least Secret Santa is showing us that there are still generous people out there who are willing to share their successes, hard work and luck with others.
