I've been watching Jack's videos for years. Been meaning to make the trip to New London to visit his restaurant, but unfortunately I never got to do that. His recipes were basic but fantastic. What I loved about him was that he was just a regular guy, he wasn't a "celebrity chef" but just a very kind, generous man. He seemed to love what he did, shared all his recipes and gave back to his community. We're all going to miss this man.
If the family see's this comment, I think as a suggestion you should take the section of Daddy Jack giving the tour here and posting it as a seperate video. Really enjoyed seeing this and it was pretty special to watch. Thoughts with all of you after the tragedy of losing a good man.
Daddy Jack. In my opinion you are the Greatest Chef on the Internet . And a real sincere man . I wish for you and your family good health and much prosperity !
What a great guy! I'm watching this as a home hack cook, but I feel it worthy watching for anyone in the restaurant business. How to genuinely treat staff, delight customers, and serve community. Big shoes to wear and few could do that. I also immensely enjoy his cooking methods! :)
This man is all heart, I have watched hours of his videos, learned so many things from his unselfish sharing. I especially admire him for his generosity and caring for others. My oldest brother retired from the Fire Department, I so appreciate his acknowledgement of the hero’s that storm into a burning building to save all they can. Thank you Sir.
