    This is one of the very few Medford's that I like. Love the chunky little blade with the high hollow grind and the big belly. Also I like the action, and the fact that it's a button lock which is my preferred method of locking. Great review bro, thanks for sharing.

      Its really cool and i dont mind the light detent you its just different and theres nothing wrong with that

    If the flipper tab was made just a little bit longer, it would work properly. Flippers on bearings shouldn’t need “wrist” or a special way of holding the knife to get it to flip. That said, its a well made , light weight folder that has a very solid lock up.

      @NeevesKnives  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah i think the flipper tab is fine it just needs a stronger spring for the detent, or a separate detent

    Great review. I have been pretty lucky with these scales. Have some other aluminum scaled knives that are scratched up. Love the knife. My only complaint is the weak detent. Thanks for treating my babies well.

    • @NeevesKnives
      @NeevesKnives  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You know it was going to be a complaint, but after feeling how fun it is, and that I can reliably flip it ten times in a row with no issues, I really didnt mind the detent I just thought of it as a different kind of action that requires a little snap. Thanks Abby

    Freedom of speech is something special 🇺🇸. People don’t understand what that actually means now a days. Cancel cultural sure doesn’t.

      No they dont, they dont realize that it saves them from things they say that I might not agree with, they think that it only applies to them

    Medford gets a bad reputation for his mouth but he builds one hell of a knife!!!

    Nice Medford! I like how the button lock looks like a revolver cylinder/chamber. I agree with you on the odd lanyard hole.

    Freedom is a great thing...love the criminal just picked one up...detent tad soft but like you said learning curve is needed and no fails...

    The Djinn framelock is similar in deployment. You have to learn the knife to get it to operate properly. Once you do it's pretty sweet. Great video brother.🔥🍻

    The anodized aluminum should and I believe is a hard coat process that is hard as glass..and will snail trail but not scratch unless of course you drag rocks in your pockets...or 6 knives...lol

    You clued me to this video, thanks. I love freedom of speech even if I don't like what is said. Unaware of Mr. Medford's controversies so probably should remain this way. Cool looking stout knives but have never held one, this one looks a lot more carriable.
    Would you say it's so smooth it's criminal ? Hahaha

    I’ve never held a Medford. Coming across any reviewers table, I’ve never been convinced that they were worth the effort. Especially for the price to material ratio. But who am I to tell others how to spend their money.
    Having said that the Nosferatu looks dope.

    I just sold my Medford clone on eBay with my kershaw cryo in a bundle for 65......the clone was really solid , I just can’t see myself dropping 500 for a folder, cold steel ad10 could give them a run for toughness or a few of their knives ....

    A Medford huh? Surprised to see it's not a $500 door stop on a piano hinge. Good to see they're stepping out a little.

    Medford never does a proper sharpening choil. I don't understand that. That is why I buy Chris Reeve.
