This is definitely one of those sleeper decks that has a lot of surprises. The drawback is that it can't usually afford to run that many engine cards since the deck can sometimes choke on itself when something like Tatsu can only special summon if there's no other monsters other than Memento monsters. Mementotlan Fusion does help relieve of that issue if you want to be freed from that also can trigger Temple, too.
Damn, that Key Mace pixie thing was the spirit monster that died in the anime during the Virtual world arc. xD

Great video!! In the Dark Blade combo, I tend to actually leave Horned Dragon in the GY to pop with Bone Party on the summon of Angwitch. Puts a nice little pop onto your endboard! I also do think Cranium Burst is really important for the deck, but your mileage may vary.

To be honest, I think Memento works *better* with the traps and without the Speedroid/Goblin Biker line. Mostly because you don't start with only one card in hand, you start with five... and as a result, you often draw into one copy of one of the *three* garnets that you'd want in deck for Tatsunootoshigo. My list runs two Mace two Ghattic one Goblin, because Mace and Ghattic are so important to have a copy in deck to send with Tatsu. Goblin can be one-card starter but ends on a weaker board if you had to use your normal summon for it without an extension. You need the deck space to run the extra cards, though, so something has to be taken out. With six slots open to play around with, you can then add one of each of the traps and then two more pieces of natural interaction like Ghost Mourner or something.
Terrortop combo is cute and all but you have to play 3 brick for it, not worth it. 3 Prosperity + One for one is safer.
You could still run the 3 terror top without the goblin package to make a monster negate.
Yeah maybe it's worth it since the deck is so bad against hand trap, but again you play a brick for it.

I got the whole core. I had a feeling when they first came out they would a good deck that people would sleep on. Cant wait til Wednesday.
In the second combo the field spell can also summon from hand so you could add dark blade of twin dragon and then summon it with the field spell to pop a backrow during your opponents turn
I do like that the deck basically has 7 one-card starters to basically get 5k Appo, I wonder what other combos come about!

Great video man, I bought a core a while ago and was thinking the same ! Instead of the terrortop package we can play Rota (for dark blade) and prosperity. Also if we play terrortop it would be cool to have a rank 3 if we already have combo (like number 75).
Also to play around nib i think we probably have to make SP instead of IP in the combo, so we can keep the combined creation on field for our turn, especially if we play a trap with it.
I bought this deck when you dropped the first video! Glad to get in on the ground level.

Mainly due to balancing. Generic Zombie support is amazing and letting this deck access it might have been a bit too powerful. Balerdroch in memento would go crazy though I can’t lie… 🤔
@@k-dawgHI generic zombie support *isn't* amazing, which is why I was hoping they would be. Balerdroch is a great card but it's the strategy's only great card, the recent are decent but underpowered tools. No real way to use it (on your opponent turn) without Zombie World either, so Memento could help that
Cuz not everything thats undead has to be a zombie.
I was testing with thunder dragon fusion and the ball of chaos that is a thunder. The deck moves really well

how does the second combo work if you start with just angwitch? If you dont have the dark blade in grave when you fuse don't you have to shuffle back the ghattic, key mace or goblin - all of which you use later?
u can put back ghattic or mace after bringing her back off witch and use her eff early! just make sure gablin is there for the combo later
Anyone els notice a second running theme?...not only are they based on normal monsters,but many of them are based on palet swaps

I think you missed played the 1st combo. Aren't Goblin and ghattic supposed to be shuffled into the deck for the fusion summon? You only shuffled the goblin.
yep u can do shuffle and fuse normaly from hand/field so there we just shaffled gablin but used ghattic as a hard material since we want it in grave to bring back off twin
Would crossout be good in this deck? Surely protecting the combo is important as when you are able to deliver it can negate most stuff your opponent does. So would you consider crossout?

@@MultiDarkange well u only use the pawp effect once so it's still the same. u just shuffle it onto deck with the combined creation at the end then u can add it to hand on ur opp turn using witch that summoned off combined creation

Hum, terrotop is bad, just wait your goblin memento for use your hand trap, abd your playing soo many brick, btw i dont know how players dont have try to learn some combos line with Memento, i see everyone play Winda with falco, or just Apolloua + big monster and the trap. Its so bad, with ant starter i do apollousa 2, the big boy, the trap card, the Fusion spell set, Yama in grave for reborn gryphon during my opposing turn and The chimera fusion in grave for reborn the illusion fusion Monster Memento. And with 1 more name Memento in my hand i can setup the other trap card, overral its 11+ interupts
