Today I learn about Runick Ancient Gear
as someone who's played AG since S1 of MD, this was a treat and just a great Video in general.
this deck is Simple, fun, and has many cool tech options for it's strat. if want to try AG, please just keep 2 Things in mind.
1. AG chaos Giant is a good card BUT DON'T JUST TURBO IT OUT,
it's only immune Monster effect's during BP only and unaffected by your Spells & Traps too. so it's more fragile than it looks.
it's also a Dark monster, so it's bystiel food if it hits the GY
2. Don't sleep on AG Megaton Golem.
using 3 AG Golems as Material let's attack 3 times in BP, (this effect is built into Megaton golem)
it can float into Ultimate AG Golem. ( Megaton has to be a fusion summoned monster and won't float if returned to ED)
you can make armoured train iron wolf, use it's effect on Megaton and attack 3 times Directly for game.
It's funny, I think that 3rd player passed because they thought you were on Mikanko, and Mikanko typically has a hard time killing on an empty board (although it still can with the right hand)
some AG deck also can't, there's version running around that doesn't run the duel package so chaos giant is their only OTK tool
I really liked the mimighouls video you made where you showed the experimentation and how you came up with the decklist instead of just stating it upfront. Even if you say the logic behind certain card choices it is more informative and interesting to actually see you figuring out the logic
When we get Ancient Gear Statue that’ll greatly elevate what the deck can do! Made respect for playing AGs!!

My crystal beasts were so frightened the only one to come to hand was Tortoise.

Gizmek Tanigkuku is missing for Urgent Schedule. It revives Dark Golem from the grave.
Actually one of the decks that I do believe has quite a bit of potential for play. The deck is weirdly solid when having all the pieces out in front of you. AG has 1 card combos, solid extenders, can make use of generic support for both its typing and attribute, has a solid and consistent way to otk on turn 2. Am really struggling to see what they’re missing.

@@c____89i’ll tell you how.. open advanced , activate advanced search catapult, catapult pop advanced summon wyvern, wyvern search box , box search statue , summon statue , activate statue summon tanker , tanker effect special summon wyvern or statue , make springans rank 4 xyz , overlay into gigantic sargas , saragas effect grab reg, make ancient gear link 2 search geartown , geartown gets popped by tanker , geartown summons dark golem , dark golem effect search commander and trap , make apo and then special summon therion . for the spell/trap negate you gotta summon the ancient gear that does that
Ngl, I'm a recent fan but find that I enjoy Jesse's laid-back but methodical explanations and gameplay way more than other overly hype Yu-Gi-Oh TH-camrs. This one in particular was really fun for me as a guy who only really knew Duel Monsters for a while before trying to get back into it. Exactly like the memes, I was beyond lost and had never watched GX, but Ancient Gears looked mean, and I figured they'd be one of the better archetypes. Lo and behold, here they come, back to show me I shouldn't have changed up 🤣
Also, if you're still taling requests, I'd love to see an episode based around Galaxy Eyes. Since hitting Master Duel as my first real competitive scene for Yu-Gi-Oh, they've been my trusty companion up to Diamond 3 but no further. I'd love to see what a YCS league player could do with them, or even any quick advice. Stay awesome duelist!
Love it when players as good as you play decks that can still get you to Master but isn’t meta.
This deck actually looks really fun to play and the tools available to the deck shown here really feel like they genuinely belong here and are not tacked on just because they are good general cards. great duels bro

I would love to see Magnet Warriors to Master/ Meta. They have a solid foundation and I believe that their floating effects are strong enough to stay long enough to set up boards/ link climb
I'd love to see you take a look at lair of darkness! It's from a structure that's never gotten its moment in the sun. Let this strategy escape the shadows and become a strong strategy!
Alright Jesse, Wightlord's Legal, Phantom knights, Horus, and Grass and Curious is legal, so the Dark Beckoning Beast combo to make Curious works.
Make Beckoning, Grab spirit gates and grab Chaos Summoning Beast, Summon it and link into Linkuriboh, resurrect the level 1 chaos summoning beast, link it into Relinquished anima, then take it, Linkuriboh and Dark Beckoning into Curious and dump Wightbaking and get things going.
Run Thrust to grab grass, Talents to draw into more engine, and every discard outlet possible to fix bad hands full of the dead bois.

I know it's not an archetype, but a deck centered around classic weak normal monsters would be awesome. Things like Celtic Guardian, Silver Fang, Giant Soldier of Stone that you could find in almost every schoolyard deck.
I think ancient Gear Is way more powerfull than people think. By far the strongest going 2 Deck.
Please try to make Vampires meta. I know that it can go into Zombie World brews, but those usually end up with 3 to 5 vampire cards.
I'd love to see him focus on Vampire Voivode, Zombie Vampire, and Doomking with a zombie world engine.
Easy negates from Voivode with Zombie Vampire mills.
It would be interesting to see a collab with people who main that deck whenever you do an archetype that allows you to.

What’s kinda interesting is that there is still room for more Ancient Gear support in the future, cuz I think that grunt duelists in Arc V used Ancient Gear Burn/Beatdown decks with the Hunting hounds as their signature monsters

This might sound wild but making TeleDad meta again. Was such an unreal deck that I miss seeing. Even synchro monarch (besides e-tele, a lot of instant fusion for the tributes).
I was pleasantly surprised to see Ancient Gear reach Master 1 in the first couple of days after it's release. Refreshing !

It's a crime that you can't use Duel to summon Chaos Gear Giant: Duel can only summon fusions that mention "Ancient Gear Golem", Giant, unfortunately, does not.
The content is riveting, and hopefully my boys and girls Abyss Actors will see some love on the channel. Unless they have and I'm just not caught up.

In 2011 I played a Gallis the Star beast burn deck because of the wild interaction between Genex Ally Birdman and Ka’oki Meru Doom. The thing I really don't like about how yugioh has evolved is how the game became a contest to interrupt the other player. Everything revolves around "stopping the other player before they stop you", it's never about "let me do my thing, you do your thing and then we'll pitch one against the other". I think people hate floodgates because they can't stop them and are forced to deal with them. I wish there were more things in the game you can't just stop and are forced to play around, the game right now and for the longest time has been a contest of who has the larger amount of effect stoppers, or how they like to call them """interactions""", so that one player can get ahead enough to win on a single turn. There's never a "your go", always only a "can you stop me this turn, yes or no?"

Malefic especially with the way that Master duel has only one skill drain it would take a lot of brains to figure out how to make this still good I've tried but honestly it's just always ends up being an engine and it'd be nice just see it play decently
