Battery farming is one of the coldest and most heartless actions that somehow remains legal. Hens produce better quality eggs when on soil and don't need to be swept out since their manure is absorbed into the ground.
What a great experience! I loved seeing the chickens do their first dust bath! I have the wonderful opportunity of owning my own chickens, and watching them dust bathe is one of my favorite things. This video is filled to brim with good vibes and makes me want to go plant based again!
As usual, you see the evil within people displayed in the comment section. You see the happiness of animals being free, having life, and you can only muster up how good they taste. You're a disgrace to your kind. We humans have the option and capacity to show them the kindness they deserve and you CHOOSE not to. Shame on you.
Stacey B. Thank you so much for sharing this. Nothing brings me greater joy than seeing animals get rescued. Oh btw, do you have any information where we can make a donation to this cause?
the best thing anyone can do is live vegan and tell others about it too! There are plenty of excellent organizations out there. Many people have a farm animal sanctuary within their region that they enjoy supporting financially. the one closest to me is called cotton Branch but you probably have one in your area as well
Stacey B I'm a vegan. I also help manage a cat shelter where I live (South Korea). I'm also active in the animal rescue community and work with a few organizations here. But I'd like to help other rescue organizations around the world and build community. :) So I'd like to make a small donation to your rescue group.
I would also like to take action in freeing animals from factory farms. Any information that you have that would help, I would love to hear it! I will start to look for local farm animal sanctuaries!
This video was so enjoyable, just to see the reaction of these poor animals when they felt grass under their feet for the first time, when I think of the way they have to die just to feed undeserving people who don't care about their welfare in the slightest, just as long as they can eat. Thankyou for this video.
I rescued some battery hens, they were adorable. They were bald, sad and confused but soon grew feather and had a whale of a time outside in the fresh air. Each had a wonderful temperament, were lovely pets and I never ate chicken again. No one needs to eat a living thing, there are plenty of alternatives.
Eating living things is COMPLETELY natural. That's where energy comes from. If no one needs to eat living things, none of us wouldn't have existed. This is illogical.
I’ve had livestock, but small because I’m in the city. I’m well aware of how animals are treated so I turned almost my entire backyard into a large cage with houses for different animals. I had chickens that had free rein, rabbits had their hutch... only 1 male. They can fight. Had a garden as well. I try to give them all a happy life. Worry free and plenty of food. I even get meat birds, chickens designed to produce meat in less time, and didn’t allow them to just sit and eat. I forced them to get up, run around with the other chickens scratching and doing what they do. I miss them. I raised them from babies so my layers, meat birds and rabbits were used to me and very comfortable. When it was time I hired someone else to do the job because I would cry inside when the thought came. So I cry and a straight dude, get over it! Love is love! Just treat your animals with dignity. A life is a life worth respecting! Unless you’re human. Then you’re on your own. Lol
I hear what you're saying! But have you wondered why kill them at all if they could live many more years? We don't have to kill them for food... and none of them want to die :( I love my chickens and pigs too. If feels peaceful knowing they'll never be killed :)
Hallelujah! Hallelujah!! Hallelujah!!! Heartfelt thanks and indebtedness to all of you having made possible sweet freedom for those lacking voice and authority, hence, the means to defend and deliver themselves from oft cruel human domination. Blessings, always.

I'm in tears... these precious beings show us how we take the freedoms in life for granted... the look on that chimps face seeing the outdoors and sky for the first time did it for me.
right?! Oftentimes, we get to see dogs, cats or even other animals as unique individuals and that helps us make a personal connection with them. What many people don't realize is how individually and emotionally complex all animals are, even the ones that end up on our plate.
+Mikaila Bulloch Ya me too, His eyes showed disbelief like, he just knew it was his destiny to die the way he was looking. Damien Crossley I guess when people make the decision to be vegan, it's when they realize that there is no way to treat an animal well while you slit their throat.
Venus, my rabbit, had never touched it eaten grass before. And when he was let out, he jumped kicked and ran, and of course stuffed himself on flowers and grass.

Nancy Ann we have had hawk attacks in the past! The chickens have gotten really smart about taking "cover" under trees and bushes! We have 3 big livestock guarding dogs also that keep them safe from foxes and raccoons! We did install decoy owls on the roofs on the barn and building. Hugs to this lovely animals I am so happy to see them free without worrying of dying They will be happy for the rest of their lives that's why I am vegan to make a difference
The wonder in that last section of the chimp looking up at the sky it's made me cry , who what are we to treat these beautiful animals in such a way, No words for us we have abused our position on this earths plain No animal should be subjected to such cruelty Thankfully there are those who can and continue to rescue these wonderful creatures that ask for nothing more but to live out their lives as we do in health warmth and love. We have a lot to answer for it's about time we Started to respect all life not just ours
beautifully spoken! I love that part, too, the awe of the chimp to see the vast expanse of sky that he or she was denied her whole life, a sight that no one has the right to deny any other individual and a basic part of life that we should all be able to enjoy. Thank you for caring.
100% behind you .... no one has the right to take freedom from another whether it be for experimental or part of the food chain. Man/ woman's sins/ cruelty call it what you will, will weigh heavily on each shoulder. I do not think we can be forgiven
I'm really happy to see all those cute and innocent animals to be free. The pigs, chickens, cows all the farm animals roaming freely. When I was watching this I was feeling as if I have taken a pain relief and enjoying the happiness. This new year I will make a resolution to be vegan. When I will grow big and start earning my own I would contribute half of my income, so that our earth will again begin a new start, where everyone is living happily.
Prakash Ahuja what a sweet comment. Please take a look at the resources in my description and message me anytime if I can help with anything. You have a kind heart. Protect it :) ♡♡
No one has right to take other creature's life why this is hard to understand why I'm vegan and proud of that decision until last day in my life please think about it and do it 💚🌍🌏🌎🙏🏻
This is just very emotional and beautiful to watch. This was my dream to save all the animals from getting slaughtered and free to live as they please. I wish I was rich enough to buy off all the animals in cages and also a forest I could own and set all the caged animals free. God bless the people who freed them. Thank you. 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Happy One Thank you. That's very kind. Good job being veg. When you get a moment, there are lots of videos and info about the cruelties of dairy and eggs and so many great substitutes! Check out the resources in my description. All the best to you ♡
What a beautiful soul- touching video...Animal exploitation has so many forms and it is omnipresent. But still humans still turn a blind eye and have reasons to deny and justify its happenings.
If they are so happy now, imagine how unhappy they was before. Or even frightened. It's looks like all this cows know that they where assigned to slaughter house. Look at them. That's happyness. I AM ALIVEEE!!! Muuuuu!!! :)
Why would anyone be so cruel to do this to animals??? Do they even have emotions??? If i worked in a slaughterhouse or something (which i wouldnt) i would go around with tears in my eyes every day!!!
The chicken scratching the ground at 1:10 appears to be confused as to why they are scratching in the dirt! What is this compulsion I have? LOL Great video.
Last summer we adopted 8 battery hens and they are doing so well now! When they came they we confused and scared. They we terrified of us but now a soon as they hear us they run up to us, because of them we make another area for chickens and adopted more. (still very shy) it breaks my heart how their treated forced into cages, at least give them a good life! Though im not vegan i hope all these animals are given a better life.
Oh how beautiful! Thank you for sharing that. Id love to hear more about them. Unfortunately, in modern animal agriculture, there is no happy life for animals. Even eggs that end up in packages labeled "free range" or "cage free" come from chickens who are raised in intense confinement. All animals used for meat, dairy and eggs are slaughtered when they are very young, most still babies. :(
Our closest biological relatives, the chimps, used in experiments. They deserve a life of freedom and peace. Why can't we see the need to cherish all life, not just human life?
Had me in tears , 😢 the human heart is desperately wicked ,who can know it , freedom like God first created it ,come lord JESUS and put a end to all evil ,, god's beautiful creation
😭😭😭😭😭 OMG... they have been waiting all their lives for something is a right they all have! Is so sad and heartbreaking. Thank you very much to all the heroes making this happen 👍🏻🙌🏻👏🏻💪🏻
It makes me sad to think of how many of these species are treated for commercial gain, however, I have nothing against eating these animals. If you've raised them healthy, gave them a good life, and then eat them, it's a natural cycle. All animals are part of a food chain, with or without humans. Most animals in the wild get killed, probably in an even more brutal manner than how one would go about slaughtering their pig. I'm strongly against how these poor animals are treated for profit.
Milos Levnajic the thing is that modern, industrial farming is not natural at all. That's where 98% of meat, dairy and eggs comes from. Animals are bred to be slaughtered. That's not natural. They are mutilated without anesthesia or pain killers. They are confined in cramped, dark, filth. All of them are still babies when they're slaughtered and none of them want to die. Physioligically and biologically, humans are most similar to herbivores and we can actually get all of our nutrients and avoid disease like heart disease, cancer and diabetes with a plant based diet :)
I definitely wrote that in an awkward way. I didn't mean to say that I have nothing against eating these animals, in the sense of industrial raised animals, I meant these animals as in chickens, cows, pigs etc, but brought up in a healthy environment. I absolutely agree with you, this should be stopped, but just like many evil industries in the world that do nothing but hurt others and poison the consumer, it will go on unscathed.
Milos Levnajic How is it natural if we're breeding them into existence, feeding them drugs, artificially impregnating them, mutilating them, caging them? What if it's unnecessary and they don't want to die when they're merely babies, let alone be killed at all?
Stacey B I don't think that you understand the point I'm trying to get across. When I think of a domesticated animal I think of one that's free to roam my land, eat fresh food, and when the time is right for slaughter, there is a tool that knocks the animal out, after which it doesn't feel a thing. As I've said, it's a painless death, whereas in nature it would get ripped apart. And I'm not saying that's bad, it's nature. But we're part of nature too, and if we take care of the animals that are on our farms, then we are also part of a cycle. Domesticated animals, and this is totally depending on the farm they live on, have a much better, easier life than their wild counterparts. Again, I want to stress that it depends from person to person how they treat their animals. I'm talking about myself and others who care for the animals. On an opitmal farm, they certainly have a better, easier life, and at the end of the day, an easier death too. I hope you understand that I'm not advocating for commercial farming and slaughtering, I'm strongly against that. Also, on your point of animals not wanting to die, it's unavoidable sadly. I mean, no creature wants to die, but whether it's gonna be a predator that rips it apart, or it gets knocked out and slaughtered, death awaits these animals. And I'm not trying to be a jerk, but animals in the wild rarely get to die peacefully of old age.
We are on different pages, that is true. but I am not misunderstanding you. Where we are not communicating is in that it is not necessary to breed or kill these animals. It is not "unavoidable". They are bred for the purpose of being slaughtered, so you cannot compare their killing to wild animals. It is not in any way part of nature, either, and even if it was, nature is irrelevant to a discussion of morality. So once one overcomes the commonly held misconception that it is normal, natural or necessary to kill an animal who doesn't want to die, (all babies, nonetheless), then one can understand that there is a more compassionate way of living that doesn't require taking someone's life.
This makes me want to go vegan. How I can I love animals so much and still eat them? Beautiful video ;'(
Roger Tully Your compassion inspires me! You can do it! See the links in my description for assistance. Best to you

Hugs to this lovely animals I am so happy to see them free without worrying of dying They will be happy for the rest of their lives that's why I am vegan to make a difference
The wonder in that last section of the chimp looking up at the sky it's made me cry , who what are we to treat these beautiful animals in such a way, No words for us we have abused our position on this earths plain No animal should be subjected to such cruelty
Thankfully there are those who can and continue to rescue these wonderful creatures that ask for nothing more but to live out their lives as we do in health warmth and love.
Another reason I'm a proud vegan to not support the industries that murder these beautiful animals.
Protect it :) ♡♡
Yes !!! This is the way it should be !💝😃😄🎋🐒🐱🐦🐑💝
Beautiful thanks 🌞
No one has right to take other creature's life why this is hard to understand why I'm vegan and proud of that decision until last day in my life please think about it and do it 💚🌍🌏🌎🙏🏻
This is just very emotional and beautiful to watch. This was my dream to save all the animals from getting slaughtered and free to live as they please. I wish I was rich enough to buy off all the animals in cages and also a forest I could own and set all the caged animals free. God bless the people who freed them. Thank you. 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
As a vegetarian I’m so happy to see these animals free! God bless you...whoever did it!
Happy One Thank you. That's very kind. Good job being veg. When you get a moment, there are lots of videos and info about the cruelties of dairy and eggs and so many great substitutes! Check out the resources in my description. All the best to you ♡
The ape at the end said it all for me
Thanks so much for sharing this, Stacey!
Thank you for watching!
i love seeing happy animals
I dont eat meat, and now i feel so more connected with animals, just watching these animals do there thing is so wounderful💚💫🙏
So beautiful!!!!!
JUSTICE FOR ALLLLLLLLL
What a beautiful soul- touching video...Animal exploitation has so many forms and it is omnipresent. But still humans still turn a blind eye and have reasons to deny and justify its happenings.
Omg these birds are like wait I can walk ;_;
I love the COWS!
April Schirmer
It was so cute when the cow was rubbing his head against the grass, as to say I love you grass!
awwwww look at how these cows are happy!!!
+Draco Malfoy Your so sweet to say so!
Look more like animals out from their winter shelter, these places have up to 4/5 feet of snow.
Anna Purgar very possibly, but at this particular farm, the cows were also liberated
They do it because people pay them. :( But we can boycott it every day when we use our dollars!
Tears..
Go Vegan,everyone!!!! PLEASE!!!!..
Lack of iron...i can't sadly although i love seeing them happy
😭😭😭😭😭😢😢happy tears
The chicken scratching the ground at 1:10 appears to be confused as to why they are scratching in the dirt! What is this compulsion I have? LOL Great video.
Beautiful! If you love animals, please consider giving up meat.
So many more to rescue. ..
My heart bleeds for these poor animals who are treated so cruelly by us "humans!!
Mine too. The torture we put those poor creatures through is simply unforgivable.
Our closest biological relatives, the chimps, used in experiments. They deserve a life of freedom and peace. Why can't we see the need to cherish all life, not just human life?
Been vegan since 1980! Proudly antinatalist animal rights vegan & atheist!
The Ultimate Reductionist I don't give a fuck
The fuck does antinatalist relate?
Awesome video.... thanks
3:20 that moment😍
Right?!
@@Besserly yeahh
Those battery hens look BATTERED
Birds pull out all their feathers when they are stressed out or confined. Poor babies were driving them selves crazy locked up in those tiny cages.
OMGOSH.....U FEEL THE FREEDOM AND SEE THE SENSITIVITY INTHEIR EYES...SOOO ❤ HEARTWARMING...ANIMALS AND ALL DESERVE TO HAVE A LIFE OF FREEDOM..😉🙏😅😅😅😅
Such a lovely video....love to them all
I gave up eating meat because of videos like this one.
Tiisiphone excellent!!
The only animal we can't free, ourselves. :(
Drake Kay lol

I'm proud to show my support for peace and compassion everyday by being vegan- for ANIMALS!💚
