i'd love to see a video where instead of eliminating and narrowing down aesthetics that certain roots can wear, you tweak aesthetics to better suit roots that there aren't inherently harmonious with. for example, ways that you can tweak dark academia, or take elements from it and wear it in a way that better fits you.

Your description of your style instantly made me think of her so I'm wondering if it's in the same realm of looks. + I have quite the same combination as yours (maybe a teeny tiny bit of sun in the middle of this because cohesiveness is so overrated haha) and I'm often in love with her fashion sense !

@@PuripuriDrawingssame! I tend to make it work by mixing punk elements with traditional tropical clothes from my country, and i LOVE it. Its so unique and weird and i never thought of that combination before learning about the style roots

I love how you mention the aesthetics we like don’t always go with our body types and essence. Very great point. I loved the dark academia too, but realized I came off very tomboy, it was so weird. I have to make it edgy.
I’m sun/mushroom/fire and SD. It think you hit the nail on the head with Italian style. Sexy and refined, but not afraid of color or bold details! As you might expect, Monica Bellucci has become my absolute inspiration 🌞🍄🔥
I really like your theory and I was lucky enough that my style roots - flower, mushroom, earth - were included here. And I am so IMPRESSED!! I have heard of the french girl before and I definitely gravitate towards it, especially because it feels so timeless to me. However, I have never heard of prairie chic before. But I must say: these two aesthetics are EXACTLY what my pinterest board consists of. And it also perfectly fits my soft classic body. I love this!! Thank you, Ellie-Jean 💖
My style roots are Sun, Moon & Stone and I find it real hard to have an "aesthetic" that combines those 3 perfectly and that doesn't look like a huge mess 🙃
So you’re basically bold, edgy and relaxed/effortless- which is hard to do until you build a wardrobe that allows for the effortless ness. Check out style thoughts by Rita’s “left down” video I think it will resonate with you.
I have these too! I usually play with the colors. I have specific designers I like and go to and usually find that their collections have types of pieces I enjoy and gravitate towards when looking at clothes. Loewe, JW Anderson, Dion Lee, KNWLS, Wales Bonner, 90s Prada, 90s Miu Miu, and Martine Rose. I typically either am dressing very fem or like tomboy with these style roots. I think off duty 90s model, blokecore , 70s, Y2K and more streetwear or thrifty aesthetics I feel pretty drawn too. I know it’s a men’s aesthetic but I love. I also like the style of Black men in the 70s in the US. To bring in the Sun part I like playing with colors, subversive basics and also weird shapes in shoes to make some of the more simple elements of an outfit pop (Paris, Texas shoes, miista, naked wolfe, and Eytys). Lots of color blocking. There’s often a preppy component to how i dress, which can usually be more neutral colored, again I amp it up with color. I know many of the things I mentioned are expensive so I just like to look to get inspo. This may be far off base but I thought I’d share 😅
@@youwomanyou Thank you so much for the suggestions! There are already some of these styles that I inspire myself from them, now I just have to adjust them to my body type
I am very Moon and Flower and I feel like that's very opposite lol but a good aesthetic to pull from is fairycore/ grunge fairycore. Sometimes I do one or the other with grunge/goth or cottagecore.
My roots are Moon + Flower + Stone and I have found that my style looks like a female lead from a fantasy novel, celestial pretty dresses mixed with lowkey sword training outfits, I have settled into my niche 😊
🌸 🌙 🌍 - I would describe my style as tomboyish but with slightly delicate pieces. Think graphic tees with ditsy floral midi skirts, oversized cargos paired with cute cardigans, maxi dresses with leather jackets and ankle boots. I wear a lot of black or neutrals, I love floral prints but it has to be small and on dark backgrounds. I also love boho aesthetic, embroidered tops (peasant blouse) I have a ton of these that I pair with jeans.
I really like this system as someone who wasn´t interested in clothes and fashion until some time ago. My style roots are Moon, Earth and Flower, since I´m naturally drawn to creepy, dark stuff but I also look for natural and cute things. I believe that the best aesthetic to fit them is Dark Cottagecore or Cottagegore. 🌙🌿💮
I’m stone, flower, mushroom soft classic. I am totally comfortable, preppy and smart. My main thing is that I hate hate heals, so my outfits usually have to include clean white tennis shoes, little ankle boots or riding boots. Some TH-camrs show outfit after outfit that ALL include heals, but you never do that so thank you! 🥰
Hello, 🌞 🌎 🌙 here! This makes such intuitive sense for me. I was kinda stunned when I did your quiz and landed on the combo that perfectly captures my sartorial tastes, which before felt disjointed (like how do I square hippie hiker yoga mom with grunge and punk with bright bold prints with vintage wool and excessive pattern mixing??). I’m already getting so much more enjoyment from my clothes by considering this framework, especially combined with my flamboyant natural & ethereal & soft autumn elements. Thanks love!! ✨♥️✨
I'm sun earth flower (or maybe fire for more formal/dressy times) and you're description sounds ALOT like me lol especially vintage wool, bright bold excessive patterns (I'm obsessed with vintage sweaters the tackier the better lol), the whole hippie hiker grunge yoga mom thing 👌I also really like the grannycore styles. I've always felt like my wardrobe looks like it could be 3 or 4 people's clothes mixed together lol I need variety cuz it depends how I feel each day! And I just absolutely LOVE thrifting so I'm always finding random pieces to add
I'm Moon, Stone and Mushroom. If you decide to do another video similar to this one, would love to see what an outfit with all 3 of those would look like!
I would love to see more of these. There’s styles/ aesthetics that weren’t discussed in this video. I like how it’s very informative for each one your talking about is very short.
Finding a style that goes with Moon, Sun, and Flower roots is very difficult! I'm on the struggle bus because while I like to look edgy and love jewel tones as a Dark Winter, I'm also drawn to romantic-esque tops and colours. I guess the best combination would be a romantic goth style? I would love to see your take on this combination, love your videos ❤
I second this recommendation. Oh my goodness! I have exactly the same style roots and am also a winter, though I think I’m a clear winter. I call my overall style pirate princess. I lean towards ethereal jewel tones with tough accents, such as a leather jacket. I hope that makes sense and helps.
I love to see people mixing styles like this. I love medieval / victorian goth aesthetics, but because I'm an autumn, I gravitate more towards browns and earthy tones instead of blacks and jewel tones. I still keep the colors dark and moody though. It's the same for the style and color palette of my home decor.
My style roots are different regarding the occasion. For work I prefer mushroom, flower and stone. In my spare time I replace stone with fire. So I would say mushroom and flower are my "core roots" and the third element is optional.
I always prioritized comfort, and I’ve always considered my style pretty simple and modest. I love the whole French girl/girl next door aesthetic. My style roots are: Mushroom, Stone, and Flower. Really cool to see my roots are in alignment with that. I love your style roots as it truly helps me fine tune my style and bring out who I feel I am on the inside :)
I know I am flower and mushroom, but I feel like the third one changes every day. It could be fire one day, stone or earth the next, maybe moon after that😄
Can you do a video helping us plus size ladies?? It's hard enough to know our body type, and then for me at least, it's hard to know my style roots because I mostly wear what actually fits my body and is comfortable. I can't always find what I like in my size. I would love to see a video on these subjects! Especially determining body type for plus size women!
My style roots are moon, sun, and earth. I'm not sure if there are any established popular aesthetics that fit all three of those, but I'm trying to make my own (my favorite descriptor being "Neverland goth," but things like "kid friendly pirate" and "scavenger punk" would probably also fit)
I have the same set, and while punk is the easiest for me to fall into because of the relative ease of finding that style, I also love fantasy and sci-fi novels, so I've always wanted to add a fantastical element into it. Steampunk and pirate clothing has been coming up a LOT on my Pinterest lol.
Same here! (doubting between earth and stone tho, but I bet for earth :) I really love the "Neverland goth" definition! I also found "edgy mori" on a personal test, like some sort of dark Heidi lol
I have the same combination, and my Earth is less hippie and more British heritage. Overall I'm going for "fun quirky fairy witch living in a rundown cottage"
I love when you do creating effect videos. Please give us the content for body types! Like how to dress classy/preppy but for each type. Or earthy for each type. Etc.
STONE🥌& SUN☀& EARTH🌍 I would love to see a deeper dive into each style root and more of combinations. And i'd like to see more STONE root in the first place. For example : my style roots are STONE🥌 + SUN☀ + EARTH🌍 and I don't really understande how to incorporate those together , but I feel that it must be in that particular order and I didn't see that or close to that combination at all. Thank you, Ellie-Jean, for explaining to us everything and keeping us in ours authentic and personal styles!!!🥰🤗✨
I'm the same stone sun earth! My favourite outfit I think perfectly works under those 3 (in the ways I interpret them for me anyway)! I have a colourful stripe jumper with bishop sleeves (sun) and I wear it with wide leg slightly flared cord navy trousers (earth) and trainers. The trainers and general comfort of the outfit is my stone contribution 😁 I also love things like my jewel toned velvet trousers which I think combine a bit of sun and earth too. Ooh I also love a statement colourful piece of jewellery even if I'm just in dungarees/ comfy casuals 😊😊
Thank you so much for this amazing video ! My style roots are Flower-Mushroom-Mountain, though I know that I sometimes swap the Mountain for the Earth root, especially in my summer free time. I was so lost about my body and facial features, and now that I've discovered your channel, I've learned so much ! Thank you ! Now, I know ( and am very proud to be ) a light spring, with soft natural body, Ingenue as a main essence accompanied by Natural and Romantic ! So I think old money and prairie chic are both very nice for me ! Thank you so much, again !
Thanks for making more videos beyond the initial explanation videos about this topic! I'm intrigued, but slightly confused. Nothing about this comes naturally to me but that's just me lol. Slowly I am getting it. Also, I feel like I need to de-program myself to stop valuing what fashion has told me to like over what I like, but also continue to value what works for my lifestyle. There's a lot to unpack and figure out what my own preferences really are. It's complicated! But it feels easier when you use theories like this. I liked how you were able to show different aesthetics that use the same roots.
I appreciate your videos and I really think you’re onto something great in combining so many styling theories and techniques. I wonder if you have any ideas on my following dilemma: I live in a rural mountain town, about 2.5 hour drive to the nearest city. I work outdoors most of the time, but also need to look presentable when I have to run into the town & not ‘bring the barn with me’. I struggle to use the kibbe body type (classic?), body shape (slight pear), color seasons (true summer?) and even the style essence,(very stone, little earth …even a tiny bit moony), because I have to change allot. I do mean a lot. I can’t wear my around the house work clothes to town - without sacrificing my appearance. Reputation in a small town matters quite a lot. I would like to find outdoor work clothing that doesn’t look like some cheesy anthropology, Nordic photo shoot in the mountains... (just not practical in those fashion boots, etc.) I don’t want to wear my husband’s bibs and hiking shoes to go get the mail… I guess there are so many gals out there helping folks to style up for the city and jobs in a clean office. I’d like to know how to adapt style to a rougher outdoor environment. By that, I’m not wanting to look stylish in a fancy way, but to look decent in regards to my personal style essence, while still wearing practical clothing for working in all seasons - working with the irrigation water, shoveling, planting, feeding animals, etc.. I’d like to look well enough to leave my hoe out in the field and run into town for work gloves - and not be a frumpy mish mash. Perhaps that’s too tall an order- but no one makes any ‘how to style for your rural life,’ ‘how to adapt the colors, cut & vibe with work and outdoor practical clothes’- without it boiling down to impractical fashion clothes you wear to go pick out pumpkins at a dressy farm… know what I mean? Well- it’s just not out there- and since I try to avoid the city life, most tips and style ideas are suited for the majority of city folks - which I understand, but still, I’m pulling for someone to show us what to wear for our body type, style essence, shape, & color …. For the gardener and for the field fencer, barn cat chaser, etc.. any thoughts?
9:42 Just for fun, ~let's try combining Baddie and Cottage~ Example 1. Doing a "dark" cottagecore, like some witchy vibe, so MOON could be a connection between both styles. Example 2. Keep the moon and stone on Baddie, but adding FLOWER, maybe with small/delicate jewelry, tops made of soft fabrics, etc.
Theatrical Romantic, True/Dark Autumn, 🌸🔥🍄 with a little 🌎 and 🌕 sometimes. Thank you for your videos, Ellie-Jean! Since finding you shopping for clothes has turned from fishing to hunting, and is actually fun!
fire, earth and moon for me I have yet to see a combination of those three, but they're all so exciting for me. I haven't been able to put together a wardrobe I enjoy, but I think this will help me for sure.
My style roots are mushroom, stone, and earth. This explains SO much. I always loved the French girl aesthetic, but some element (the flower root) of it never felt right on me. Now I understand why! Anyone else mushroom, stone, earth? I’m trying to figure out what that aesthetic would look like
I'm in the same boat as you! Totally agree with you - I've always loved the classic french girl style but the flowery bits of it have never felt quite right for me, like polka-dots and small floral patterns. I'm still trying to figure out what mushroom, stone and earth might look like too, so if you have any bright conclusions let me know! 😂
Same roots for me! I felt like the 90s off duty and safari aesthetics resonated the most here for me- I lean more toward the dark academia side of earth than boho. My theory is that tweaking French Girl into London Girl(?) turns the flower root into more of an earth root. Curious to hear others’ thoughts!
I think this is me! Earth and mushroom are very clear top 2 for me. I think stone and mountain can come into play for me, too. I've found that flower works for me occasionally but not in the way it's usually incorporated into French girl aesthetic (like the small floral patterns and whatnot that Heather described in a reply). I think the British, Safari, CA chic, and Granddad core seemed to fit my style best. Dark academia isn't technically mushroom or stone, but I find that I tend to incorporate a lot of it into my style as well. Sort of verging on light academia, but like...dark academia outside the library lol which I think is because light academia has a flower root, whereas dark academia instead has moon. I feel like somewhere in between dark and light academia (aka just...academia lmao) can bring in a more casual and light element, reminiscent of mushroom and stone while not actually being mushroom or stone. I've found that most of the aesthetics that include 2 out of my top 4 work for me, and I can set aside the third and/or fourth sometimes (so in Ellie Jean's aesthetic template, that would be: [flowerless] French girl and girl next door, 90s model off duty, athleisure, that girl, art hoe, outdoorsy).
Heyyy I’m a 🌹🌍🪨 and I just wanted to say I love you videos, I made a whole document about the style roots ❤. Also, I really like cottagecore with cosy jumpers but also light academia, pastels, neutrals, I’m basically light and flowery with cosy and warm tone added in. :)
Definitely vibe with dark/light academia, Parisian chic, minimalist styles with hint of dark/earthy or even some teeny witchy/botany nods. So maybe, mushroom - earth - mountain. Who knows! Would be great to see how you'd categorise your subscribers outfits :)
My roots are flower-sun-fire and honestly sun being theatrical makes so much sense because I always feel overdressed and ”extra” compared to others. Mushroom is definately not my style root but it makes sense that many people have it, as well as stone, since a lot of people prefer simpler/more relaxed styles.
Hey! I was looking through the comments and no one had my combo anywhere but then I saw you. I think of mine as sun-fire-flower and I am a soft dramatic. I do feel overdressed in my out there, theatrical outfits but I’d rather look fabulous than boring you know? I just found it fun that we had the same style root. As an SD, I have to remember to keep some femininity and waist emphasis in my outfits, as well as not throwing together too many crazy patterns 💔 are your roots in order of what you gravitate to more?
I am a Dramatic Classic, Dark Winter and my style roots are Sun, Moon and Fire ! I really love alternative styles as well as colorful and experimental styles like in Legally Blonde or similar movies and I struggle to find balance between both (guess that's the problem with Sun and Moon).
Sameeee I stuggle with trying to fine a balance between my body type ( soft dramatic) with my style roots (fire, moon, earth) with my preferred love of alternative fashion
Those are also my style roots and I find it hard to combine as well, but what I usually do is joining pieces in bold or happy colors to a darker piece and adding some edgy details. I like using the 3rd aesthetic as a base for "blending" sun and moon♥
@@soffaerie that's good advice ! usually i go for a very sun or a very moon look but blending them together seems really cool. kind of makes me think of monster high style and i love that.
I have been watching your tiktok and I love that my roots- moon, earth, fire is kind of rock and roll aesthetic vibe! I’ve always been inspired by 60s/70s rock bands and that confirmed I was in the right path the whole time, I just lost my way a little bit along the way in trying to look “more grown up” as I enter my 30s. Thank you!!
This was really interesting and helpful to watch! I would also be interested to see a video where you combine different aesthetics based on the style roots AND body types... I am a soft dramatic and my style roots seem to be mushroom/flower/stone and I feel like sometimes I have kinda a hard time to find outfits that match both my style roots and body type. I feel like some style roots work better/more easily with certain body types and I would be interested to hear your opinion on that! :)
I love your style roots system! Mine are flower-mushroom-stone and I was really happy when I saw you included them. I am really drawn to girl next door but I can't really find inspiration for that online, do you have any recomendations for where to shop or for what terms you have to search for? I'd love a video about that. Thank you!
Mushroom, Flower, Moon is one of my combos with the other being Mushroom, Fire, Moon. The Flower and Fire seem to swap out with one another often. But as soon as grunge was offered for the Mushroom-Fire-Moon combo I was like "oh yeah. That is 10000% accurate" because when I want to be more edgy I fall back on grunge and glam rock. I suspect the glam rock is due to when Fire swaps with Flower.
I’m a mountain, moon fire but haven’t seen anything yet that really embodies how I like to style. Maybe because the roots are fat appart and I do make experimental combinations but I would love to see what you would style with these 3 style roots 😁 lots of love
I'm the same. I tend to dress completely differently as I don't like my current silhouette and find myself silly in more "feminine" attire. I'm prospecting for the future and would love to see a few outfits of this combination to get inspiration.
Now I feel like I like all the style roots when they are paired like that. They just come together so nicely! I do like the mushroom, mountain, and flower with hints of fire the most for my personal style though.
to me this seems to give: Stone, moon and earth (+sun, but less) I am clearly attracted to flamboyant natural style, also often to rock or boho. Love nature-prints, but most often use quite simple clothes in natural fabrics, "with a twist". Love colours.
I think those are my 3 style roots too. I also like moon + flower at times. I lean towards a very bohemian, 70s style with a modern edge and some rock/grunge elements What is your typical style? Or what are you drawn to?
@@chronicallyresilient i really like 60s and 70s, but i don't have the clothes for it unfortunately. i really like loose clothes, i'm addicted to oversized short sleeve button downs but my style really changes too because sometimes i'm more edgy. i'm still trying to figure it out.
Wow seeing that Moon Stone Earth outfit, I realise that's exactly what my style roots are! I think I often borrow from Mountain to feel more work suitable (so Moon Stone Mountain), or Flower on other days (Moon Flower Stone)
I did your style streams exercise and wow! It was super cool! I feel like it was cool seeing how I wanted to express different sides of my personality!
I think I'm Moon, Sun, and Fire. I'm a bit disappointed that all of the pintrest boards have mushroom in them, bc that is one that I am drawn to the least.
Oh I love safari! I feel like that look was really popular in the 2010s and I’m really sad I didn’t buy up a bunch of clothes when it was trending back then because now it’s much harder to find
This is the best style system I’ve ever used! I realized I have earth, fire, and mushroom with a dash of moon. Doing the dream self exercise really helped with that. A lot of the time I dress for fire mushroom moon and feel silly or too much. I really need the earth element to feel grounded! I feel like some of these are very conflicting though. Like mushroom and earth feels conflicting. I’ve been looking through my closet to find outfits that honor all of these, buts it’s definitely hard.
I really do love your style root system! I'm sort of TH-cam University-ing my way through style (various but mostly Kibbe body typing, Kitchener's essences, colour season...), and I enjoy how your system meshes with them. I truly feel like it helps me expand my understanding! P.S. What do you think of Olga Brylinska's ethereal breakdown? It's a lot, but I think it's at least fun!
I follow you on IG, but missed this. I’m Mountain 🏔 and stone 🗻 with ‘dark mushroom’ 🍄 for edge. I’m soft summer/soft natural as far as I can tell. Tysm for this video and your system.
I think the Italian style, as seen on Pinterest, has Fire, Sun, Mushroom, Flower and Earth all in once and also depending on the specific picture/outfit you find.
Thank you!!! You are so helpful 💓 I really struggle with my style, and I don't know where to start. While I do like all the style roots, I feel truly drawn to Mushroom, Stone & Flower (in this order). I'm lucky because you've shown examples of this combo as well (Preppy/Old Money, Girl-Next-Door). Thank you!!
This was really interesting! I'd love to see more about the Mushroom/Flower/Moon combo, as I'm pretty sure that's mine. Simple and elegant and light and feminine with a slight edge to temper the sweetness😉
I would love to see how this all applies to body types, something like Mountain on a Soft Natural, for example, they seem very far apart, how do you maje them come together?
I’ve realized my style influences have changed a lot. I used to be flower, sun, and stone when I was in my early 20’s. I’ve now matured into fire, mushroom and earth
I would genuinely love to see a deep dive into each style root.

Could you do a video explaining how sun and moon are similar yet exactly opposite?? I'm drawn to both!!
We have the same roots and the same styles 😂
Also im a soft natural!!! Wow
My aesthetics are Fire, Moon, Earth. This video is so inspiring! Thank you!
Saame. What aesthetic or vibe do you think is it?
@@AndRea-hy7sg for me, very witchy and rock n roll. My style icon is Stevie Nicks.
Hey I'm fire-moon-earth too!
@@mist3995 I love that! Welcome! 🖤
Yay me too lol
I'm Moon, Stone and Mushroom. If you decide to do another video similar to this one, would love to see what an outfit with all 3 of those would look like!
same! Moon, stone, mushroom please
Please do more where Sun is the main style root!
I would love to see more of these. There’s styles/ aesthetics that weren’t discussed in this video. I like how it’s very informative for each one your talking about is very short.
Finding a style that goes with
Moon, Sun, and Flower roots is very difficult!
I am all moon with a touch of stone and fire . It’s all the rings I already love in my wardrobe. Love your channel
Same here! (doubting between earth and stone tho, but I bet for earth :)
I really love the "Neverland goth" definition! I also found "edgy mori" on a personal test, like some sort of dark Heidi lol
Me too!
Etc.
I was so glad to see mountain/moon/stone! Love what you did with it
STONE🥌& SUN☀& EARTH🌍
I would love to see a deeper dive into each style root and more of combinations.
I would wholeheartedly watch semi(at least) deep dives into the different possible combinations of style roots, aesthetics aside.
My style roots are mountain+mushroom+stone, and I love the dark/light academia aesthetic.
Same!
My style roots are Flower Mushroom Moon and maybe Stone. I'd love to see another video with more style roots combinations!
Mushroom, Mountain and Stone!! Thanks a lot!! Your video is very helpful💖
Same here!
That was RIDICULOUSLY EASY for me to finally tack down my style. Stone-mushroom-earth. Thank you, thank you, thank you for creating this video.
Ok I love this. Makes so much sense. It’s like the undertone for your makeup.
9:42 Just for fun, ~let's try combining Baddie and Cottage~
Example 1. Doing a "dark" cottagecore, like some witchy vibe, so MOON could be a connection between both styles.
Example 2. Keep the moon and stone on Baddie, but adding FLOWER, maybe with small/delicate jewelry, tops made of soft fabrics, etc.
Moon, fire, stone. I would love to find something! I haven't found any outfits to represent.
Earth, fire, flower. I find it a very difficult combination to combine.. because it feels so contradictive
If you do a part 2 I'd love to see moon, fire, and mountain!
Omg! I thought I was the only one!!!!!! ❤❤❤
Theatrical Romantic, True/Dark Autumn, 🌸🔥🍄 with a little 🌎 and 🌕 sometimes. Thank you for your videos, Ellie-Jean! Since finding you shopping for clothes has turned from fishing to hunting, and is actually fun!
Mine are 🌙 🔥 ☀️. These seem contradictory but I like it.
fire, earth and moon for me
I have yet to see a combination of those three, but they're all so exciting for me. I haven't been able to put together a wardrobe I enjoy, but I think this will help me for sure.
I think my style roots are Mountain, Earth and Moon. This was a really interesting and helpful video! Thanks :)
Their are 56 combinations, which is very diverse! I hope she explains more combos.
Yes!!!
90s off duty and safari resonated most with me as well! Oooh I didn’t even think about London girl aesthetic. I think you’re on to something!
Thank you this is so lovely! I would love to see your chart, that’s so cool! ♥️♥️
Earth, flower, and stone.
Natural, cute, and relaxed. Perfectly sums me up!
Mushroom is elegant and put together. It's stone and Mountain that are relaxed
Same here exactly!
These are also my style roots. I feel like my style is "edgy academia"
Now I feel like I like all the style roots when they are paired like that. They just come together so nicely! I do like the mushroom, mountain, and flower with hints of fire the most for my personal style though.
to me this seems to give: Stone, moon and earth (+sun, but less)
I am clearly attracted to flamboyant natural style, also often to rock or boho. Love nature-prints, but most often use quite simple clothes in natural fabrics, "with a twist". Love colours.
Fire, flower, stone is my style root! I’d love to see some outfits for that root
My roots are Stone, Mountain and Sun. This system is so intriguing I enjoy learning more about it.
I'd love to see a FLOWER-EARTH-FIRE combo🌸🌏🔥!
It's so cool to see.the differnet styles. I would love to see a few Montain, Moon, Fire outfits
My style roots are a combo of Fire🔥, Moon 🌝 and Earth🌏 . I like the idea of style roots it is very helpful.
I'm sun/earth/stone, and i love it! The descriptions feel very me. Thanks for developing this system
I think those are my 3 style roots too. I also like moon + flower at times.
I lean towards a very bohemian, 70s style with a modern edge and some rock/grunge elements
What is your typical style? Or what are you drawn to?
@@chronicallyresilient i really like 60s and 70s, but i don't have the clothes for it unfortunately. i really like loose clothes, i'm addicted to oversized short sleeve button downs but my style really changes too because sometimes i'm more edgy. i'm still trying to figure it out.
What kind of aesthetic would a moon, fire, and stone would be
Wow seeing that Moon Stone Earth outfit, I realise that's exactly what my style roots are! I think I often borrow from Mountain to feel more work suitable (so Moon Stone Mountain), or Flower on other days (Moon Flower Stone)
Yes please include Italian as an aesthetic!!
I did your style streams exercise and wow! It was super cool! I feel like it was cool seeing how I wanted to express different sides of my personality!
Moon-Fire-Stone
And jusg realisez my fav outfit is literally a balance of these three
I think I'm Moon, Sun, and Fire. I'm a bit disappointed that all of the pintrest boards have mushroom in them, bc that is one that I am drawn to the least.
I’m definitely moon fire and sun and this was cool to see examples of combos
You are the only person I've seen in the comments with this set!
Oh I love safari! I feel like that look was really popular in the 2010s and I’m really sad I didn’t buy up a bunch of clothes when it was trending back then because now it’s much harder to find
My style roots are: sun ☀️, flower 🌸, and mountain 🏔️. This was such a fun video idea 💯🎉
Tysm for this video and your system.
my style roots are stone ,moon and fire .i would love to see you style these 3 because it seems that this is not very common
Same here! Moon/stone/fire
Same!
@ellie-jean^^^^^^^
I love this idea. I think I would be moon, stone and fire
Mine are Fire/Moon/Stone I would love to see some outfits with those please!
Hi. Mine too! 😃 Where are you finding inspirations for your outfits? Any celebrity?
Style roots aside, I would love a tutorial on how you style your hair 🙂
Super curious about Sun, Mountain, Fire, hopefully that'll be included on the next video!
I think the Italian style, as seen on Pinterest, has Fire, Sun, Mushroom, Flower and Earth all in once and also depending on the specific picture/outfit you find.
I love that genuine plane at the end 😌
Mountain, mushroom, and flower are mine 🤍
thank you so much for all your advice! you do so much for those trying to find their style and it’s so so cool.
I don’t see a lot of sun, but I’m Sun Mushroom Stone and would love to see more! It hits a different side of mushroom than moon-mushroom combos…
Moon, stone, mushroom over here! I love the style roots 😊
I would love to see how this all applies to body types, something like Mountain on a Soft Natural, for example, they seem very far apart, how do you maje them come together?
Can you do a short video on fire, flower, stone? 🌺
I would love to see Sun, Earth, Flower combo.
Mine is also your combination! Mostly Fire, flower but also a little mushroom. I love a little moon and sun too.
PLEASE ADD the Italian style!!💗 🤞🤞🤞
I’ve realized my style influences have changed a lot. I used to be flower, sun, and stone when I was in my early 20’s. I’ve now matured into fire, mushroom and earth
I feel like I’m just fire. You could argue there is some mushroom and moon but just fire.
