Same on a 2016 Volvo XC90, abs, traction, parking brake not available, transmission service required, city safety service required. Enough to give you a mini heart attack, all down to a 100 euro front right abs sensor. Changed it out, cleared all the faults and went for a drivearooney, all good!. Great videos Baz!
Thanks to you I mamaged to diagnose my wife's audi a3 with code p02300A charge cooler open circuit. I managed to rewire a brand new plug and fit a new auxiliary pump. However I took a pic of wiring and managed to mess it up and wired 2 of the wires wrong and still.jad to take it to garage. But thanks to your content I at least knew where to.look and start. Awesome work 👍
Great job baz, even taking a reading from the speed sensor on ohms setting on both wheels for comparison, and probing individual pin to chassis , seen continuity which you shouldn’t get, keep up the good work sir 🍻
Top vid Baz! It’s a common fault on these for the abs/wheel speed sensor to fail after a certain mileage and age. I had the same warning lights a few weeks back and used my icarsoft diag tool to trace it to the front right wheel. Changed the sensor and took it for a run, then bosh all fixed. Pain having to take all the plastic inner wheel arch out to get to the upper connection though.
wow baz my slk had the same problem a few things didnt work like the roof and abs light as soon as i changed the rear abs sensor everything worked fine

I had the ESP & runflat messages on my 2009 C200 The error codes pointed towards the right rear sensor. It was still reading the speed in live data. I replaced the right rear sensor but it didn't fix the problem so I reinstated the original sensor. The ABS sensor ring had delaminated and once I'd replaced it the problem was fixed. The left rear started going the same way so I replaced the sensor ring on that side and that problem was fixed too.

Because looms can get damaged further back ie rodent damage, I could have put a sensor on it and be a fault further back, if that makes sense
Talking from experience dont buy cheap tacky replacement parts.
