The dragons have always been some of my favourite skylanders. I think since the first game was originally meant to be a specifically spyro game, there was a dragon for each element.
Figured that out and only earth doesn’t have one (in the first game that is not counting giants)

Personal headcannon, Drobot could have likely found an abandoned workshop that was Arkeyan in origin.
You asked about Whirlwind’s hybrid status…
While I cannot be certain, she may be based on the mythical creature called the kirin, since she embodies a lot of its traits; from her powers to her colour to the dragon-unicorn hybrid… it just makes sense!
Some times I just want to write a storyline where the Dragons from Spyro interact with the original Spyro lore mostly cuz it seemed like Spyro was the only dragon of his generation
I like to think Whirlwind was born from the parents being really drunk,high or something else.
Not silly enough for Skylanders. How about the dragon accidentally ate the unicorn (the unicorn is still alive for reasons)?

OMG I remember when I first played as Zap in Skylanders and his vocie caught me so off guard 🤣
I was not expecting him to sound like that at all! Not saying he has a bad voice or anything I just find that hilarious. I had a similar thing hapoen with Warnado.
Eon got so annoyed by the surplus of dragons in Skylands that he banished an entire species of them

Camo is not only my favorite of the dragon Skylanders.
But he’s also my favorite Skylander in general.
He’s also my highest level Skylander, because I loved to play as him so much.
If drobot was so smart with tech he would of understood aerodynamics and physics in order to make his suit, which would of made him a naturally good flyer lol
More than likely, he had no idea before landing how to do that.
Warnado allways felt to me like a Turtle Dragon Hybrid but I guess Warnado is just a Turtle.
My god that last comment on Camo is spot on. Just earlier today I tried to google if there were any individuals who refused to become Skylanders after being invited by Eon. The search got me nothing and I just went back to binge watching all of your Skylanders videos lmao
You barely scratched the surface with dragon skylanders.
Camo is what we call a drake, a dragon born on four legs and no wings, there are many types of dragons through out mythology, so keep an open mind

another neat bit of lore about Zap is that he actually hatched above-ground, it's a bit of lore from Gill Grunt vs. The Fish Master, the Fish Master can mind control all sealife, and does so to Wham-Shell and Gill, but he can't actually control Zap since he didn't hatch in the ocean

I never got to play Skylanders except the original and giants but seeing the gameplay and the graphics i can't wait to be able to play them in the future

Even in the first game one can clearly see that the intention was for evry Element to have a Dragon.
And I find it a bit sad you didn't talk about the entire original roster of dragons but that might be to long for a video.

so Skylanders is essentially a fantasy version of overwatch then

SSA - Spyro, Zap, Drobot, Cynder, Bash, Sunburn, Camo, Whirlwind
SG - Flashwing
SSF - Fire Kraken, Pop Thorn
STT - Spotlight, Blackout, High Five, Echo, Blades
SSC - Splitfire, Hammer Slam Bowser
SI - None (though you can create one)
I don't think Pop Thorn, Spitfire, and Bowser are really dragons, especially not Bowser, he's a Koopa, which is pretty different from a dragon
Last I checked dragons don’t have a shell on their back
Just because bowser breathes fire doesn’t make him a dragon hybrid and how is spitfire a dragon/dragon hybrid

Eu pensei em uma ideia de dragão. Eu pensei em um dragão robótico totalmente da espécie Arkeyan. Ele seria um dragão feito para ajudar na batalha, na época da guerra contra o Darkness. Após a guerra, ele foi desativado e ficou milhares de anos subterrado, até que um dia ele foi descoberto por mabus mineradores e ele foi despertado após um dos mabus tocar em sua cabeça. Ele voou até que acabou se deparando com Drobot e então decidiu entrar para os Skylanders para honrar o nome do povo Arkeyan. Por mais que ele gosta de andar por quatro patas, ele constantemente fica sobre duas patas. Ele ataca com socos e garras e pode lançar engrenagens como se fosse discos. Ele também é capaz de invocar robôs Arkeyan para ajudar em batalha. Espero que goste da ideia
