I didn't know AT ALL these characters had backstories, I always got so intrigued with the character descriptions in the videogames, but never looked further, didn't even know there were comics! Even though there might not be much of them, I really hope you will talk about Luminous and Nightshade! Luminous is very interesting especially in ring of hero's so I hope you look into that!

for sal he may be transformed bc wolfgang let him to be in the doomraiders, also maybe seing him transform was a bit hard so adding that he will become a bad guy and that sal's songs wont sell as good anymore triggered rage which triggered his transformation
I think for Wolfgang and his brother while wolf gangs transformation was caused by his emotional pain his brothers was caused by his emotional joy but that’s simply a theory I have
Also Neon Batteries, glad you brought up the Sonic IDW comic run. Except for Sonic Boom, both those games & the animated series sucked honestly. Even though I never played those games, & watch the whole series from season 1-2.
I actually like Dreamcatchers lore in Skylanders Acedemy, that she was supposed to be a Skylander but her evil nature made her the perfect match for the Doom Raiders.
