Great reaction!! Thank you so much for the kind words about Pakistan. We can definitely use some prayers at this juncture.
Another lady recommended “Gharoli Ghoom Charakhra “ from Nescafe basement which is an excellent suggestion. Please do react to that song you will not be disappointed. You are doing a great job thanks again for your effort & hard work.

Thanks for remembering Pakistan in such tough times its really bad in South which is mostly rural and poor areas, its was tough for them already and now this and also North due to glacier melts. Both of these are folk/Sufi music singers and ironically belong to Southern areas which are affected due to floods, Saieen Zahoor has spent most of his life singing in Sufi shrines, and didn't produce a record until 2006 (70yrs old a the time), when he was nominated for the BBC World Music awards based on word of mouth, he emerged as the "best BBC voice of the year 2006". While Sanam Marvi's childhood was full of hardships and poverty, she started getting music training at the age of 7, she debute in show Virsa Heritage on a mainstream level and later got famous due to Coke Studio. She is considered among the 3 of the finest performers in the Sufi, ghazal and folk genres, he other 2 being Abida Parveen and Tina Sani who are absolute legends.

Sir, greetings from Pakistan. Extremely grateful for your genuine concern and kind words / gesture about Pakistan. These are indeed difficult times in the flood affected areas of the country, which constitute more than 50% of the land of Pakistan. May God the Almighty bless you with all His blessings always.
Sir, the reaction was as expected top-class. The male singer Saeen Zahoor was holding / playing an instrument called "Ektara" which literally means "one string". If the instrument contains two strings it's called "Dotara". It's a traditional instrument used primarily in South Asian countries of Pakistan, India and Bangladesh. If you look at his attire, it is also a traditional one typically worn by "Jogi's". A Jogi means "Hermit" in English. A person who lives his life in solitude mostly for religious reasons. Saeen Zahoor is I think around 86 years old now and has spent majority of his life as a Jogi singing at shrines of various saints. He is very popular singer here in Pakistan.
Sir, your reactions are so good and pure that for me one song per week for Coke Studio seems less and I keep waiting for Sunday every week. This is the kind of addiction I have of your channel. Sir, I wanted yourself to react to other Coke Studio seasons, Nescafe Basement and more. So, I tried to sponsor a song but PayPal is not working for Pakistan. Is there a possibility for some alternate arrangement?
Sir, anyhow, it's simply an amazing journey of listening to Coke studio and other Pakistani stuff at your channel. Please do consider reacting to the latest track released by Coke Studio last week titled "A kind of magic" during the week, if possible.
Love your reactions, love your channel.
Best wishes for the growth of your channel. With warm regards

This was so beautiful and haunting. I'm glad the lyrics are available so we understand what the song is about. Yes, the floods in Pakistan are just awful -- so many deaths and destruction. The USA is also dealing with a massive hurricane covering the whole of Florida after decimating Puerto Rico which is part of our country. Many deaths and more unaccounted for. My niece lives in Florida and survived the 100+ per hour winds and 20 foot storm surge.

Its called Ektara, which literally means single stringed or one string, its used for the music but also to keep the singer in tune with the rhythm and its cycle, its like a guide.

The instrument he is playing called Ik tara "ONE STRINGED" since it has one string to play with.

Great reaction. Also react to Miyan ki Malhaar by Coke Studio Season 6. It's a song about thunderstorm and is made in a way that it unites the process of rainfall with thunder in the song. Must be reacted to

You should check out Miyan Ki Malhar from season 6 CS. This season is the most underrated season with artists from different parts of the world creating a fusion between western and eastern classical music. You'd definitely love it. Season 1-6 are uploaded on Producer's (Rohail Hyatt) own TH-cam channel.

Hi, love watching your genuine and very organic reactions.
Thankfully, you made me watch this song with full attention and understanding for the first time. Otherwise, I watched it over TV and otherwise so many times but never thought it was so good. Now I know Pakistani artists produce great music and videos.
    Thanks a lot bro....
