This boss was SOO EASY! All you have to do is spend 72 hours farming, level up all your stats to 30, go into the battle with every type of throwable, upgrade your weapon, do a couple of kart wheels around him and then fart in his face. I don’t know what all the fuss is about!
*TIP:* I beat him by only attacking after he does the glowing red attacks. The rest of the time, keep your distance. Especially during his second phase. It may take 15 minutes but you can beat it pretty easily, maybe without taking a hit. Some throwing items will help speed things up too.
This boss took me so long but when I saw this I quite litterly cried myself to sleep on how easy he is 😅 a tip on second phase whenever he uses his massive ground fire attack you can actually hide behind the pillars and it wont actually hit you😊
The most efficient way to use the throwables is to have your summon and attack the boss until he is about to go into phase 2 then back away and use the throwables to finish him off.

@@Shady25X20for what it’s worth. I thought the same thing. But I think it’s just the game mechanic. If you already have max stack, enemies won’t drop any more. Maybe check your storage if you don’t have any in your inventory and aren’t getting any drops.

Strong agree there. Coming from dark souls, I know some ppl enjoy the absolute pain that certain bosses bring, but not all of us. I enjoy a challenge, but when the challenge becomes too much for me, I look up what strategy others are trying.
This strat worked perfect! I switched up the order though, I got him down half health with just normal fighting and then used the throwing cells and blitzes and worked perfectly!

I just learned the parrying in the 1st phase (very easy, given his slow movements), kite his charge & dodge forward right with his slam. Then use 5 or 6 throwables in his 2nd form. This video is what taught me to use those throwables lol
JUST BEAT IT😭😭😭! Didn't have the spectre so this fight kicked my ass. I went back to go get the throwables and abrasive which allowed me to get his life down so that I could save my heals for late second stage. Thanks man!

this fight becomes easy if you just stay far from him, bait his red attacks, charge attack once and follow up with fulminis legion attack. in second phase, whittle him down and then throw a few throwing cells and he’s done for. no need to even have the summon… also, really enjoying the booster glaive blade with the fire axe handle (motivity crank).
I know im not the only one that felt frightened like a little child before opening those loud, red-light alarm doors to meet the boss for the first time.
This boss took me probably 100 tries over 3 days. The winning combo ended up being: buy 3 throwing cells, 3 fable catalysts, and 2-3 electric blitz abrasives from the first vendor (cerasani alley), then buy 30 sawtooth wheels from the desk clerk at the hotel, and make sure your sword is upgraded to +3 with Eugenia(which is the max at that point). Then farm Star fragments and a few more throwing cells from the couple guys near the stargazer spawn at Elysion Blvd Entrance. Warp back to the Venigni spawn and before you enter King Flames room, use a star frag at the little water dish to get a spectre to help you fight. Now go fight him, mostly melee with spectre until second phase then unload your throwing cells and wheels. Probably still take you a bunch of times but this has to be the easiest way. Good luck!
Unfortunately that guy no longer has any throwables for me. They're all out of stock, and I can't farm those guys because they no longer drop throwing crap.. This game really likes to screw you

Saw this after I just defeated him and my god my best advice perfect block the best you can and keep on a offensive don’t let him build his block meter up second phase definitely keep close hit when you can and bait him into striking so you can perfectly block and rapidly stick back you are welcome don’t let him stress you just keep fighting and blocking

I wish these youtubers would stop saying things like "Embarassingly easy". This is shaming your channel Patrons unintentionally. Many folks are trying hard here, still struggling, and being told implicitly they should be embarassed. "Love the channel as its the most fair among souls games, but still could use a bit of reframing. Subbed! 👍🏾
If you run out of throwables, switch to the electric blunt weapon. It's a purchasable weapon from the early vendor who is located in the carnival. Level up this weapon as much as possible or just +3. Use light attacks but don't get greedy, use heavy attack only when you have to do the stagger attack. Also many people don't use the blue legion arm, it's great for getting electric damage in, which puppets are weak against. To fill up the legion arm use the bullet looking item, its purchasable from the hotel lobby infinitely. But I think you can only hold 3 only at first. Make sure you are not heavy and if you have to have things equipped, only be "slightly heavy". The summon is great for distraction but will die quick before or after start of second phase. Don't rely on the summon. Make sure you have the health and puppet master ambulate equipped as well. Trust me you can do this. It took me an hour and half. First night I couldn't do it tried little over 10 times. Stopped that night, next day(today) after another 10-11 tries I beat it with the help of the electric blunt weapons and blue mechanical arm. I had one health flask left and 40-45% health bar.
This boss isnt nearly as bad as he seems at first. His fireballs are really easy to side step to the right. Stay on his right side, right in front of him during phase 2 and his flame attacks will all miss, except the one that takes up half the arena.
I didn’t think this boss was hard, but he’s the second boss that’s showing me a really weird pattern I’m noticing. I’ll be in a great flow, perfect parrying everything, and then a boss will do some giant AOE elemental attack that will just destroy me if I don’t straight up run away (or use a consumable). It’s really backwards to me and just slows down the fight artificially
@TrueGamer22887 Yeah, I know what you mean. It's like they don't want you to be able to stand in front of the bosses and just deflect everything. They're going to throw moves in there that you need to completely avoid to get you out of your comfort zone.. But that big flame AOE is a little ridiculous. The only solution I found was running across the whole arena. I thought there should have been a way to dodge through it as it came across the floor.

@TrueGamer22887 reminds me of Hoarah Loux, where he pulls up half the arena. But his you could at least time a jump or dodge through it. Overall, I'm still extremely impressed with how polished this game is. This is the closest I've felt to the quality of Fromsoft. Really enjoying it.

The biggest issue is that the merchant sells out and you can't really go back to him for the same item again, it's a one time thing. Even with the throwing cell and electric blitz it's challenging to beat the boss.
@@Elbethium Incorrect about back up your save on console. You can't back up anything. Also, a soulslike game wouldn't likely allow you to do that anyways.
Here's a tip: The merchant you mentioned can run out of throwables, but the very first one will restock if you have none. You can buy up to 3, so if you're at zero, you can spend some Ergo to get a few, saving you some farming.

This would be a lot easier if the hot boxes weren't broken. Seriously his first hits at the side of my character and I still take damage. Not to mention heavy weapons are useless in this game due to no hyper armour or poise.
I never realize that a fire enemy always is susceptible to electrical damage so I should’ve known this because this was the same thing in Final Fantasy like the weakness is usually something so small and insignificant gonna try this tonight since I leveled up my weapons and I’m gonna farm some throwables and see if it works. I hope it works.😂
Guys, buy the Eletric Coil weapons from the elevator guy! I’m stuck for hours at this boss. But after using that weapon I literally beat him first try 😂
Alright gang so I ran out of all throwables. The best way to defeat him if you don’t have anything left is to get him down to phase 2 and literally just bait out his running charge attack. Hit him 1 or 2 times and then wait. It’ll go take a few minutes but it’ll save your sanity
Star fragments are absolutely useless, spectres seem to be more of a hinderance than helpful, they die in like 2 hits and do nothing damage wise, also they make no attempt at dodging, they eat everything.
Cannot be less true. They take aggro off of you, so you can deal hits unbothered, they DONT die in 2 hits that is false, had a specter that survived the whole Andreus fight and he was in his face constantly. Dont expect a specter to solo a boss
@@Elbethium mine hasn't survived past phase 1, on this boss or the watchman. I'm not expecting it to solo anything, but for whatever reason, mine dies so fast the distraction isn't even worth it, cause I get melted in phase 2.
That's what it's all about. You can be the best gamer ever, but if you're not persistent, you're not gonna beat these games. It's all about just not getting caught up in how long a fight takes. Just knowing that it's only a matter of time no matter how bad you might think you are.

Farming the cop puppets before krat city hall yields a lot more throwing cells! Theres like 7 puppets, and they tend to give you star fragments too!
I can’t get a single throwing cell to drop from them. I’m on PS5. Don’t know if that makes a difference or not.

The huge poles in the arena protects you form his phase 2 attack (go behind the poles)

Something that i havent seen anywhere, you can roll/dodge to quickly get rid of your overheating damage from the furnace AOE.
Best way is to get him down to half then finish him off with the throwing items. Like this video but in reverse

Guys, buy the Eletric Coil weapons from the elevator guy! I’m stuck for hours at this boss. But after using that weapon I literally beat him first try 😂
Alright gang so I ran out of all throwables. The best way to defeat him if you don’t have anything left is to get him down to phase 2 and literally just bait out his running charge attack. Hit him 1 or 2 times and then wait. It’ll go take a few minutes but it’ll save your sanity

Star fragments are absolutely useless, spectres seem to be more of a hinderance than helpful, they die in like 2 hits and do nothing damage wise, also they make no attempt at dodging, they eat everything.
Cannot be less true.
They take aggro off of you, so you can deal hits unbothered, they DONT die in 2 hits that is false, had a specter that survived the whole Andreus fight and he was in his face constantly.
Dont expect a specter to solo a boss
@@Elbethium mine hasn't survived past phase 1, on this boss or the watchman. I'm not expecting it to solo anything, but for whatever reason, mine dies so fast the distraction isn't even worth it, cause I get melted in phase 2.

That's what it's all about. You can be the best gamer ever, but if you're not persistent, you're not gonna beat these games. It's all about just not getting caught up in how long a fight takes. Just knowing that it's only a matter of time no matter how bad you might think you are.
