    Great video. The Cobb OTS Stage 1 is fun to drive. Great exhaust notes. Wild to see how far your build has come from stage 1 to your STI swap.

    She sounds nice! I twisted a lil skeleton tripod around my passenger seat headrest’s metal mounts and recorded some in car driving and it wasn’t that stable and I forgot it in the car and the plastic on the tripod kinda melted 😅 but try to mount it more stable and wider if you can and try to get the shift knob in frame as well as the windshield/side mirrors 🦾✌🏽

      Thanks for watching. Yea for sure I need something more sturdy. The one I have now clips on the the head rest with an adjustable arm. The little nobs to tighten it to hold the camera in place are the weak spot as you can see. I’ll be looking for something nicer

    Why did you remove your ETS intake?, it requires no tune, so shouldn't it read as stock with the access port?

    • @UhhhProjected
      @UhhhProjected ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The tune isn't gonna account for all that extra air. You gotta run the parts that the map thinks you have or it can have a negative effect on your car.

    • @JoeyMontalto
      @JoeyMontalto  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The tune is for a stock intake. Yes the ets intake does not require a tune if you are stock tune. The maf housing is the same size so the maf does not need to be rescaled. With the tune and the intake installed people have reported DAM dropping meaning the car doesn’t like the intake with the ots map

    • @bryanallendorf7064
      @bryanallendorf7064 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Not trying to argue, but if Cobb tune didn't like it and picked it up then most likely running it without a tune is questionable? Just doesn't make sense. Might have to reach out to ETS to defend themselves. Your not the only one who's complaining about this. I follow multiple forums and it's a thing for sure. Just don't want to damage my car or see others over 9hp and some intake noises. Sorry to blow up your thread.

    • @JoeyMontalto
      @JoeyMontalto  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@bryanallendorf7064 all good man I like having convos and helping out. The ets intake works on the stock tune as normal as it has enough adjustment in the ecu to adapt. With the extra boost from Cobb stage 1 tune the ets intake is not ideal anymore with the extra air spooling the turbo faster and holding boost longer than intended for the tune. Currently there is no intake on the market we can run with the stage 1 tune safely. Protunes will be available soon so any intake will work. Same issue happened when the intake came out and people with the jb4. The jb4 preset maps 1 and 2 do not work with the intake. You have to customize map 5 with the jb4 to make the intake work.

    Why did you take off the ETS intake? It's safe? And you know if you hold the tracton control button down you can totally defeat traction control. Track mode limits wheel spin if you want to have fun in snow or for some people, dirt.

    • @JoeyMontalto
      @JoeyMontalto  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The ets intake is designed to work with the stock tune. The Cobb tune does not support an intake. Others are posting their DAM dropping with the intake installed and the Cobb ots tune. Yes, I know if you hold it down it turns it off. It only does that if you are stopped going 0. In the video I was cruising while I clicked the button.

I've done wheels with 255's turbo back and color matched. So they were suspect when they saw all I've done I'm sure. SOA don't play.
