  • This week's video highlights different samples from an AKG microphone you've probably never seen before, the D202E2. This was the mounted motion picture version of AKG's D202, with some slight improvements that make this one worth listening to. These rarely come up for sale, so this is a cool opportunity to see one in action!
I post videos just like this one every Friday, so subscribe to stay up to date for what's next!

That's sick, sounded great on both the acoustic and electric guitars.

    This is beyond obviously beautiful-sounding.

Amazing mic's. I have two D202 cs DIN versions. Used one f.i. on Bedug percussion near skin, in a Gamelan ensemble in the Netherlands. Also very successful on box percussion etc in a live recording of a Stockhausen piece of "Kontakte"

I have a d202 cs witha rolling HP filter.
it is the best sounding concert piano and drum kit mike in LIVE and will found exploseive and clear with high output opera singers from a distance.
I also have two d222e if needed some gently forwarded mid-high.
If this case posible i want to make a big neutral drum with this three mikes and with some chromed c414’s as room mikes.
