Yeah...Jameskirk..That was my very first thought before I even started playing this based on the title. Her voice is amazing. She's a talented Broadway and TV actress, too.
This was awful. They're sitting in the presence of an iconic diva, and all they want to discuss is her weight. I've always known Nell Carter to be the most confident woman in the room but I've never seen her this way. She's trying her best to maintain her dignity here but this is grueling! If she were white, this wouldn't have happened. I've never seen Roseanne Barr picked apart like this! I'm mortified!

@@jameskirk1638 This is what the Donahue show was all about! By talking about it, other women with the same problem can be helped by it. Phil Donahue was a man who wanted to discuss explore all sides of an issue.
It is hard to believe that this person ever had a viable show. She should have asked him if his momma had a blue tent dress. This woman had more talent in her baby toe than anyone of these "people" asking her these ridiculous questions. Women are always judged on their looks no matter how talented or intelligent they are. She did her best to show that she loved herself, but this "interview" was brutal.
