Just found your channel and subbed. I just got into painting, mostly cutting out rust, welding in new, and painting over it. I'm only 75, so if I get good, I might do more of this when I grow up. Anyway, I'm be going back and check out your older videos and be asking a lot of dumb questions.
Yea it's a slippery slope with custom pearl paint jobs I have many other pearls I could do a follow-up video if this one does well but the biggest thing is do a spray out small scale first before attempting things on a whole car thanks for watching
I asked for an "airbrush" show a while back and then LITERALLY again last night haha. Bro, are you listening?haha, i didnt realize you had small guns; you were dripping paint puddles on a hood at the time. Anyways- Awesomeness- thanks. EX professional (was over 15 years ago) just starting to look at compressors again. But been rattle canning my truck for a while now. Just enjoy watching you "figure it out" with us. I like your style lol. Keep up the awesone videos my guy
I think something got lost in the camera or maybe somethings was wrong with the pigment load or something. I didn't see any color shifting, I could only see the ghost on two of the panels, and could only see two of the solid panels. So I'm not sure what happened. BUT, I'm NOT criticizing you personally!! NO, I'm NOT a professional paint and body guy. I'm a retired professional mechanic. Just to be clear about that. Although I have painted my own vehicles from time to time. I just found this video because I'm about to paint my truck flat black and gloss fire red with ghost red over parts of the black on the front clip. I'm looking for and trying to learn as much as possible before I dive head first into this. Because although this is "my" truck. The wife LOVES this truck!! So if I mess around and F it up......well y'all married guys know where this is headed if I do. But I did learn learn a bit about the different types of pearls. Thank You Sir for taking the time to make and post this.
No problem at all I appreciate you checking out the video I have a bunch more spray outs with all kinds of combinations if you want to get a better understanding of all these different pearls check out some of my other videos and thanks again for watching

This was a great presentation. It's interesting how the base really affects the overall impact of how hard the pearl hits. Good job! 🔥
