Yeah but he definitely deserves credit, anyone can install unreal and try to setup a scene like this, but it still takes a lot of time and effort to get something looking this good. Especially making a fps system to go along with it.
A decent concept but I think the lighting is too dark for this map. Would like to see a 1:1 with the vibrant lighting construct has with the waterfall backdrop and ark skybox.
@helljumper5613 in the later video with the spartan laser I fixed a lot of lighting issues. Also, now that I've done guardian with accuracy in mind, I think I will try an alt version of the map going for the OG feel. Thanks for stopping by

Yeah I love a high FOV. Just up to taste. And the reticle being centered is also a matter of preference but I can see how that may look odd compared to the og games
How are the physics in Unreal? None of the newer halos have the old Bungie physics and it’s so telling. Games on Unreal all tend to feel similar to each other every gen because of certain limitations it has in areas. I still remember growing up during the 360/ps3 era wondering why so many games looked and felt similar to each other despite different devs and publishers. If the new Halo or even Battlefield will be on Unreal, I hope they’ll be able to imitate the old iconic gameplay and environmental factors.
@Theosake I'm curious about the physics as well. One of my next vids is gonna be trying to recreate the physics accurately in ue5, it'll be a challenge but I'm hopeful
The physics Bungie and 343 used are from the Havok engine, not from Blam/slip-space, and it was announced that they will still be using Havok with Unreal

Please read description. Despite this, I have made a new video showcasing a blueprint revamp so it is more accurate. When I upload a video focused on combat next, my goal is to make it as accurate as possible. This project is a personal challenge for me, so please keep bringing in the feedback with each upload. As cool as this is, i hope 4v4 dies with 343. Halo needs innovation. We can't rebrand and just do the same thing we've been doing for the past 20 years. Say what you about Halo 5, but that was the multiplayer I most enjoyed out of any 343 game.
Innovation doesn't mean you have to get rid of the core audience most popular mode? I'm all for Halo branching out but don't forget the reason we are here is because 343 tried to change the formula too much, not the other way round.
What do you mean? H5 was 4v4. Competitive Halo will always be 4v4, it's been that way since 2001. Zero reason to change that formula. We have other playlists for BTB or whatever people want to play. That's the beauty of Halo.

Normally I'm one for symmetry but the asymmetrical HUD moving around the radar is very satisfying
