You can use it in ODST Firefight thanks to the MCC, but it’s nice to see it here as well.
I would rather they created a suppressed version.
Halo 5 had one but y’all bitched about that game’s multiplayer hence why a lot of the unique weapons are gone.

This looks awesome. I wish mainline Halo would do something like this again. ODST was great, and this gameplay reveal really captured that atmosphere of lonely, destroyed city streets being patrolled by an enemy with the upper hand.
I love that the community is still so passionate about this franchise that they’d go make something like this.

Anytime I am walking around town and it's raining, I always throw on the ODST soundtrack and I am instantly back in New Mombasa

Amazing stuff, if only things like certain particle effects (explosions such as at 1:26) weren't so limited by 343's insanely questionable design choices, it would make this a hell of a lot more cinematic or immersive like in the Bungie Halo titles. Nothing would've been able to bring me back to Halo Infinite except for the soul and passion from the community to surpass 343 in any way.

Hell divers is based off the hell jumpers from the original halo ODST, which came out in 2009
I thought this was an Xbox Helldivers reveal and I was so pumped.
@@Peaceful-channel-l6d They’re actually based off of Starship Troopers, which is also what ODSTs are based off. Both took direct inspiration from Starship Troopers rather each other, and this has been said and confirmed by both Bungie and Arrowhead.
They even call in an orbital barrage. I know Helldivers is based off of the ODSTs, but I mean, it’s pretty clear that this project took inspiration from Helldivers.

This looks awesome. I plan to play this in 3rd person when they release it next month. You guys truly did an amazing job. And the hud, so simple yet makes you feel like you're actually looking out of a helmet, just like the good old days. Infinites hud really could ues some work.

All forge maps are compatible with both consoles and PC. They're not mods. You can find these maps and modes in the community section and custom games browser.
It will be playable, wherever Halo Infinite is playable.

@@jurizemljanski6118 I wish console exclusives would just die already, like if it can run the game then port it. Exclusives don't even make more money for Microsoft or Sony, consoles exist to sell games not the other way around. Just bring Halo to PlayStation already god!!! Like for example, the silent Hill 2 remake came out recently, and I can't play it because it's a temporary exclusive, I have to wait until the 10th of August 2025 to play it, that's not gonna get me to buy a PlayStation damnit!

I saw this and thought "HALO STUDIOS ACTUALLY LISTENED AND MADE AN ODST GAME?!?!" and then saw the channel name, kinda bummed, I'll forever keep huffing that hopium. This is awesome though.
Your job isn't to dive feet first into Hell, it's to make sure it's crowded when you get there.

Very well done. I've never played Helljumpers so it looks like a more cinematic firefight/campaign to me thus far but not a bad thing
Just played it and a few things:
-Enemies constantly blink into existence on top of you (literally, you can be killed by the rng spawns of enemies)
- Starter weapon ammo runs out FAST and weapons from enemies are not enough to make up for the absurd amount of them that spawn
- There are no strategem call ins to make up for the poor starter weapons (and if there were they aren't well labeled)
- When you respawn, you'll often drop right to where you did previously, meaning you can be spawn killed by the boss level mobs that are constantly teleporting in.
Overall cool pve concept with the limitations of halo infinite, but still needs a lot of work.
love the odst survival atmosphere! 343 should make a partnership program where they contract fans like you guys to be creative directors for small projects while providing manpower for custom models and animations...

I'm assuming you meant like getting rid of the shields, because I would agree. I can deal with the equipment drops and spartan armor, but the shields take me out of the ODST mindset of cover is your lifeline, NOT some Shield recharge system

It’s so beautiful when the enemies don’t want to kill just you. This gameplay remembered me of Halo CE where marines are an essential part of the gameplay because this is a war! Not just Master chief vs all the world (like halo 5 o Infinite)
I wish that your HUD was customizable or at least the outline changes for every different helmet

What I like about this is that this content is very reminiscent of what an odst mission would consist of. No super heroics, just supreme tactics and teamwork to get the job done behind enemy lines. It’s not well known because Spartans were kind of the highlight of halo. But a lot of odsts were sent on spec ops missions such as this and many were successful and instrumental to the human covenant war.
If only that hud was usable!!! Looks FANTASTIC, gentlemen!
And question, I noticed the music used is not from the game itself. If it hasn’t been done already, are there plans to incorporate campaign music through the use of node graphs? As this was a feature added relatively recently?
There will be music that plays throughout drops and on the drop ship!

This just made me think of the possibility of a 3 person headhunter game where you have 2 spartans playing mostly with stealth. They just need to do as much different things as possible and you guys are showing that the community wants that.

It's nothing like Firefight and it will only be available in Custom Games on launch, anything beyond that is TBA.

I think an odst version with the lower level elites would be sick. Something new. Or a campaign with more than just one spartan like 4 and 5. A fireteam on missions before the covenant or at the start of the war with the hit missions.

@@thetower8553theres still some amazing talent at bungie, just has awful overhead. But luckily Sony just stepped in and fired a couple of the main culprits and restructured a lot of bungie. Its funny cause even the main bungie staff who youd think wouldnt want to be restructured was like "thank god" when it happened. Even they knew they were fucked before. Now some of the team is directly at sony and hopfully (if were lucky) the restructuring gets them back to what they are amazing at.

Something I think would be neat if 343 added was the ability to set player's armor. So if it's an ODST theme, they are given certain ODST armor to complement the theme of the level.
