Fact: there are less than 10 actual PS5 games on the market. A couple of them have PS4 versions. Most of us on the PS5 are buying/playing PS4 anyways. You're not missing out if you're still on the PS4.

Mess their business up and boycott their eBay page. I think they are dirty (Just want say not interested in the PS5 at the moment) I'm a grown up mature person and can wait 6-12 months or even 2 years. Would be nice to own though just to go in my PlayStation collection of consoles.

@Giorno Giovanna First of all, thanks but after checking the site I was not satisfied by the likelihood of guaranteed arrival, and the interface of the site was garbage to navigate.
After digging, I found two basic offers without reference to the sources.
Both were digital edition which Im not interested in.
One is 695 pounds currency, which is about 965 us dollars. And the other is "used" at 655 pounds which is about 920 us dollars but it includes a VERY limited 24 month warranty.
Pass. But I guess your point wasnt to recommend it but instead to show the popularity of resellers is enough to push on potato websites.
The sad part is that actually there is dumbfks paying those prices making scalping relevent,otherwise those scalper can keep those for years and lose instead of winning

Scalper is very severe on sony console side.. In my country you can get xbox series x so easily, but ps5 is very rare and expensive... @@chungusfootfungus some retailers set specific appointments for pick up. space out who comes in. i dont know how strict lockdowns are right now in parts of the world, but if you have a store that is open, you can go out. If you live in the middle of no where than you are out of luck but like that goes without saying

As someone who preordered in December 2020 and only got his Digital PS5 the first week of March 2021 (I can't wait 'til next year because my very old PS4 is already dead), I feel so good that RGT voiced out all my anger which I couldn't put into words.

Why not report the scalpers to the feds? More than likely they are not reporting their earnings meaning they are in violation of several tax regulations. Which is a felony.
Because it's not tax time for 2021 yet so unless they don't report it at tax time 2022 they haven't broken any laws (unless they've been doing it since 2020)

Honestly, they are going to keep scalping til like their profits are less than $100. Right now if you look on eBay, profits are around $400+ ish. I would say it won’t slow down til like Feb-March. These people are just greedy.

I was checking amazon during black Friday: they put a PS5 on sale for almost 1200 euros and it was bought in mere seconds.

I've managed to get 4 myself. I'm keeping 2 (Living room and game room) and the other 2 I sold to friends exactly what I paid for them. I like to try and grab one every once in a while for fun but I always know someone personally who wants one so I help them 😊

It's a pandemic, you're asking 1,200 USD for a gaming console. Manz lost his job, hours at work got cut. You played yourself scalpers. It's not a normal economy at the moment. By the time the economy normalizes, sony will release more units.

I was already planning to wait anyway, I did with the PS3 and I did with the PS4, and my patience paid off both times. With the PS4 when I finally got one I got a bundle that had The Last of Us and GTA5.
I always wait to see how sturdy the systems are and then I find them at a pawnshop for way less. Did that on the last two generations of systems and everything I have bought still works. Not worried about the new systems till I can find them there.
I wait for deals and absolutely to fix the eventual day1 bugs that may be fatal or annoyances.

More fortunate than me sadly. My first PS3 failed on me, the disc drive would no longer, well ,read discs, then I got a super slim with a manual disc drive and no issues since
