The part between the pay Toll and the cones is limited to 30km/h, then under a yellow you proceed to overtake two cars in front of you and continue to accelerate until you meet with the marshalls car, you really need to be more aware about your surroundings, you’re not alone on the track.

People living with the fear of consequence will have very little to add to those around them. I’m watching your channel like “fuck, I wish I could have my car in Germany and lap Nur, thankfully you’re doing it and I get a little pleasure from seeing it in your videos.” It sucks you mowed their lawn and kissed a rail but whatever right. He's driving like a hoonigan at the cones, then being very hesitant to overtake the other two cars, overtaking under yellow flags and then getting dusted by a fiat abarth *lol* .... also poor line choices like at Hocheichen, almost crashed there already. The driver has a poor car control, lack of situational awareness, lack of track knowledge, bad line choices. So a crash was just about to happen as a result. ... and yes I know my way around that track.

Sad to see that corner claimed another driver. glad you're alright. You will come back stronger and probably have learned a lot from this experience! I had a minor oopsie on a very familiar corner recently and got lucky with only needing to replace a wheel, but the experience does give a harsh wake up call and you grow from it. Hope to see you get everything sorted out again and back in action with the RC F. If you have Gran Turismo you can also learn the track better, in theory, and at least know which areas to take extra caution, and also watching other crash videos of where people tend to crash.

I'm sorry this happened. Most of us are living vicariously through your experiences. Thankfully no one was hurt and the damage was minimal. In the scheme of things, things actually ended with the car in decent shape and you're still 🚶♂️ walking. Get it fixed and come back even stronger.

Sorry this happened . I can imagine that the worst part about this is the damage to the appearance of the car you customized for yourself. The sooner it gets fixed the better. I'm assuming that's the only factor and since you are doing this extravagant adventure through Europe which is a privileged experience, $$$ is no issue. I'm sure you'll have it fixed soon and be off to the tracks again. Good luck!
Well I do not have money like that haha. That is why I am very DIY if it is possible. I think resourcing parts will be the hardest thing.

Bro! The most important thing is you were not hurt. I feel so bad for what you are going through and what you are about to go through trying to get this sorted out. I've been there. Tore up the front of my 89 Toyota Supra Targa top near K-Town. It's going to be tough, but it will get better. The F looks like it's probably damaged pretty severely. Once it's throughly checked't out it may not be as bad as it looks. You have to live life, and you are doing just that. You will definitely be alright. Just got back from a 1k mile round trip in my F. Got a CIL and the only thing I know was not working was the Atkinson Cycle. Will try to setup an appointment Monday. Also got a shock when I saw another F. He was going east and I was running west. You hang in there my man. By now you have gotten yourself together and the situation may not be as dire as first thought. We are pulling for you!

Sorry to see this happen. Glad you are ok and no one was injured. Looks like you got oversteer and then overcorrected with opposite lock, but it looks wet as well. Hopefully, it is not a write off as there might be some frame damage. Hopefully, it can be fixed. Otherwise, get your third RCF. Another carbon/TVD or a track edition.

The most important thing is that you are safe and minimized the damage as much as you could. From what I can see, it sounded like you had lifted off the throttle while turning with the bend which loosened up your traction and the weight kept the car going straight out of the bend. But good on you trying to correct and ride alongside the wall, that definitely helped in reducing even further damage!
All in all, youre safe and the repairs can be made 🙏🏽

**** happens, no biggie. Everyone crashes sooner or later. However, since this is the notoriously kind comment section on YT let me add some advice. You didn't really seem to know where the track was going. I'd have expected you to crash somewhere on this lap just from the driving and trying to go a little fast when you weren't even sure where you were on track, the lines weren't really lines or they were barely connected to the track anyway. The Ring does not suffer overambitious beginners kindly. You need to either take it very easy and drive within your low limits for a few dozen laps or speed up your progress a little by doing a ton of virtual laps beforehand. Maybe throw in a few track driving courses and before you know it you'd be doing mid 8 min laps instead of going off and crashing in the same places where you can find hundreds/thousands of noobs doing the same on YT. A little research and training will go a long way. Cheers!

Really good feedback for everyone ,myself included. It's so easy to get drawn into going faster by the car ahead.
That is pretty sound advice.
After I decided to go to the ring I spent one year every night watching lap videos to learn the track, the lines and the do's and dont's.
I drove it on simulator (just to fest memory of the layout) and visualised the track before sleep.
Also, I drove at 80% of what I thought I was able to.
My first lap was sub 10 mins and I felt I knew where I was going.
Lines and flow matters - throwing a car into a corner unsettled is never a good idea.
You many times kept going from understeer (you entered the corners too fast) to liftoff oversteer (when you were letting go of the gas or braking mid corner because you entered too fast) - that combined with a totally wrong line is what ultimately caused your crash.
All your corner setup should happen BEFORE the corner: Place the car on the right line/point in the track, brake gently to lead into the corner, release brake as you enter the corner and get your foot on the gas to power out of it, applying it sparingly until you reach the apex and then hard to power out.
You should corner with your foot on the gas, not on the brake or with a "loose" car.

Track looks wet? Heard that tire squeaking hard a few corners earlier right after you passed that off-roaded BMW. That was seriously like an omen.
I know in the states your regular car insurance doesn't pay if something happened when tracking the car. Was there any kind of other track insurance you got when signing up for the day at the track?
Funny thing, the track insurance I looked up didnt cover the touristenfahrten. Tourist driving which was what this was. It was afternoon, I am on PS4S and I believe the tires got greasy. I think its a common thing for michelins. My PSS was also greasy before coming to Germany

dude that really sucks. I love this channel and Like I've said before the rcf is my dream car. this is kind of ironic because I just bought a lexus gs300 a few days ago and I totaled it. It really makes you realize how easy it is to crash a car and how quickly your life can be taken away. Cars can be replaced but lives cannot. I'm just glad that you are okay.

Lifted on acceleration
You handled that pretty well , I kept replaying the part when you were going a little faster than normal and you took more of wide turn then turning right again and then you broke . But imo, you handled that skid out pretty good. I think you lost traction as you were hitting that turn. Thank God you're alive though. Sorry about the car and crash even though this is old now.
Part of racing my man. The goal is to get the car back in one piece but we aren't always that lucky. Just be glad it's all stuff that can be easily replaced with a bit of money of course and that you're without a scratch 👍🏾
Thank you. Yeah I see it that way too. I think if I did not crash now, Ill eventually crash, even tho that is never the intent. I do believe everything is simple fix or at least it appears that way. The goal is to make it drivable again. I suppose this begins and rebuild process and upgrades if possible

You're okay and car can be repaired. Surprised the RCF lost traction in that circumstance, but I saw you almost lost it earlier in the lap. Maybe tires, suspension or your input, but thankfully, you and the car can go back (hopefully with an instructor) and learn from the experience.

Good question. I dont think I will ever know what caused it. In my damage assessment video, the tires were really messed up. I could assume it was PS4S tire not able to handle with the visible rips or it was the new -2.2 camber up front on track, could be weight in trunk being tossed around back and forth to throw off the balance, not braking before entering the sweeping corner, too fast entry, or lifting off and creating oversteer. Many factors but ill never know.

Try to have a go at karting to learn a bit more about car placement and situation awareness.

Think of it like this, coming out with 4 digits of damage from a race crash on the ring is actually pretty cheap :) If you do serious barrier damage and spill a lot, this alone can exceed 10k€. Also, you're okay, the car can be repaired and the damage doesn't seem major.

I went to 120mph uphill, i lifted uphill, I turned slightly, then the whole thing started slipping, then I managed to slow it down to about 15mph before kissing the wall.
Glad you are ok and impressed about the damage-limitation you where able to do, considering everything.

I did a lift off oversteer, when you lift off acceleration, the rear tires loses weight and transferred it to the front tires which is how I started steering left. Not sure if that made sense.

My TE RCF friend tells me i crashed in a very common corner. That made me feel better but not when looking at my car.

Hey man, I don't know if this is any help but there is a Lexus dealership relatively close to the Nordschleife (about 30-60 minutes) in Bonn. It's called Lexus Forum Bonn. Just in case you want an official dealership/mechanic to check out or repair your car. Glad you are alright though. It does not look too bad after all. Mainly cosmetic damages I guess.

I could tell from it started u just wanted to go fast and pass everything you could. U heard the tires and saw that a bmw ran off already but u still pushed it. This could have been avoided but good thing it happened how it did and u are ok and the car doesn't have major fixing
No im going to have to disagree with this one. I was not trying to pass everyone. This is my second lap of the day in 2022. Last time at the ring was oct 2021. If I really wanted to pass someone, I cant because im not skilled. I like to follow others if I can keep up. If you listen to my throttle, you can hear the inconsistencies in my throttle control. Accelerations and letting off and repeat. Tires screeching because my lines were trash so it had to compensate for my lack of lines. Thats just my opinion and what it was really. But yes i too am just lucky that it wasnt anything more than what happened. Im too lucky really coming from that speed and slipping.

Hard to know for sure without being there, but it sounded like you braked hard once you got a little loose, and locked the wheels which is why you went off. Should have either released both brake and gas. Or stayed on the throttle because from the camera angle it looked like you basically had it saved but then just locked it down and slid off as a result.
Wrong completely. I didnt brake. I lifted uphill and then turned and accelerated which broke the traction.

Idk. I think my driving was inconsistent at all levels. I dont think i was over driving. I was feathering pedal on corners and smashing on straights. I did more of like a slinky effect type driving. IMO of course.

Trying to get insurance to pay it but not so sure theyll allow it since the name Nurburgring is known as a racetrack. Yeah crazy how no one ever talks about the aftermath of crashing and hitting Nurburgring property. I heard rumors and in that moment, I certainly verified it.
People forget that it's still a public/private toll road at the end of the day. Hence why the Germans can get insurance on it for free.

I believe a change of elevation unloaded your suspension. You're going to have a lot less traction than you think you do when that happens.
