The 5th generation Supra may be a winner in terms of performance, with a power-to-weight ratio and handling that are sure to make an impression. Both great cars, but I would rather have and drive the RC F all day.
Damn. I compared the supra against the RCF pretty hard when I was gonna buy mine. Ultimately I settled on the Supra...but the RCF was my first and will always be my poster car.
You chose right. The RC F is a great car with a glorious v8 but besides RR Racing the aftermarket is just not there compared the b58 and the Supra. The newer RC Fs as I understand it are now not able to be even tuned due to Bosch encryption (like the later supras).
I'm just waiting for the 2020 RC-F to depreciate any moment now
@@MisterSkizzels
You can always swap ECUs
@@MisterSkizzelsAll model years of RC F can be tuned.
@@goldswimmerbj Interesting. That is not what I read on the forums. They had to swap an old ECU into a 2021 rc f to tune via rr racing
GReat race , track and competitors!
Man a few seconds to the video I notice David has the best handles
Guy sounds sooo surprised they’re both running NT01s as if it was their choice lol. More like “this show is sponsored by Nitto, and if you wanna be on here, you’ll both be running NT-01s.”
He was surprised of the tire size. Not the tire brand.
@@Sessions1 yes, this is what Mike S (the presenter) meant to say, thanks for pointing that out.
I’d drive that course 142 all day long. Neither guy pushed their cars to the limit
I wonder how much was the repair cost on the RCF
I’d rather be in a a beautiful rcf that sounds great than a bmw Supra that sounds like a lawn mower.
Kinda crazy that a 8-9 year old platform is keeping up with something much much newer.
Say it louder for the ones in the back
Thank you, 2014 vs 2020 tech.
Well executed show. The supra seems to struggle to keep stability in the corners.. was very evident.
I love the sound of a Lexus NA v8, always wanted an ISF just wanted one with a manual….
No need the auto is a total menace
@@Sessions1 Total bore is more like it.
@@coldvaper sure what ever you say cold vapor
@@Sessions1owned a 2011 ISF for 5 years always drive in sports manual mode nothing boring about it FFS
one of these guys needs to push the acura tlx type s to the absolute limit. strip down all the weight; show us how it stacks
I’ll be out there soon 👀
Interesting watching them, both different styles. The Supra is 500lbs lighter and over 100ft/lbs more torque. kind of a no brainer right? The RCF driver was much better, but in a slower car.
My Lexus had the same mechanical at 120k. New clutch bearing and belt, good to go.
Thanks for sharing your experience, I’ve wondered since that day if anyone with F cars have experienced the same issue and I see now that it’s becoming a common problem.
I’ve seen that Supra in Raul life. It looks absolutely awesome. I think it’s his daily also
If the RC-F had a stick shift I’d prefer it. Funny tho….the 3 outta the 4 performance cars Toyota makes (Supra/RCF/GR86) have outsourced powerplants 😂😂😂😂 the “4th” performance car would be the new AWD Corolla w/ the turbo 3banger (I THINK Toyota makes that engine lol)
David is a beast!
I appreciate it alot, I strive to be a better driver everyday. thank you 🙏
I like this show. Fun watch
Need a rematch
The lexus was running a lil cleaner
I'm down to go on the show with my 2019 camaro ss 1le. I live in socal
Focussing on weight reduction, titanium intake elbow...😂
Amazing
He forgot to mention load of interior what was removed as well but I’m sure once the camera is in your face you’ll slip on certain things
Thank you, I actually mentioned more such as trunk interior pieces removed as well as the backseat but that seems to be edited out of the video perhaps for time/duration purposes.
I drive a 2020 Supra, and it's funny I ran across this vid because a RCF likes to park next to me at work ✌️
This is how I drive when I’m late for work.
Have a super charged ISF that runs like a beast in Atl. Reach out.
The Lexus should have gained a few extra horsepowers when the belt came off.
That RCF sounds like the GT3 version of the same car. The Supra... a vacuum cleaner?
