I’ve seen countless videos about Whistler. My riding is no where near fully sending A-Line. I really love flow trails and to see you do a video on the Blue trails at Whistler, just let me say......Thank You!!! I really liked the look of Insomnia. I have a list of trails I would like to go on if I can ever get I trip set up to go to BC for my son and me. Just a big thank you again for doing a video that has focused on trails I can fully manage and have a great time without going to the ER!!

The run to creekside with south park and insomnia is super fun. Try to not get to excited with all those burms tho, last year when I ran that lap I ate shit pretty hard being to excited and going to fast in those burms that sometimes are a lot tigther than they seem !! I would defintetly check those out they are insane.

I'm in the Northeast so ride Highland, Thunder, Killington and Mountain Creek. I ride black trails no problem, but tbh I have the most fun on blue flow trails (the blue tech trails here are typically too flat). It's nice being able to chill a bit and try stuff I might not normally attempt on the bigger jumps. Jump Start, Blue Magic, Gronk and Cat's Paw are probably my favorites ... Mountain Creek is kinda the exception though. Not too many blue flow trails I like, and their blacks are extremely fun!!

"They're a little more techy but you can still blast through them really fast...." No Jordan, YOU can blast through them really fast. Us mortals are burning through our brake pads just trying to stay on the trail with the rubber side down.

I put a rubber strip on my face and my rubber-side-down time went from 40% to 80%
Where's the remaining 20% you ask!? - That's just me flying through the air like a ragdoll

thx for putting this together, most videos make Whistler seem kind of inaccessible to those of us who don't send it off massive jumps and drops - going to have to actually make the pilgrimage now.

hey Jordan. if you ever end up on the east coast of Canada there is a bike park called sugarloaf mountain. its the only lift operated park on the east coast. the trails aren't the best in the world but if you like the hand-built feel you're going to love it. the lift ticket cost $30 and you can get in the lift under 5 minutes it's not really crowded and there are a few black diamond trails and a double black too! the local scene is nice but this is mainly a snowboarding spot that has recently opened for mountain bikers.

thanks for doing this video Jordan! I’m still trying to figure out what trail I went down last time I was there with this group lesson, I’m pretty sure it was rated as a blue tech trail and I thought it was close to After Atlantis or Blueseum, all I remember is that it was pretty steep and had a ton of rocks and roots, it was kind of short as well.

Interesting your view on wide trails. Funny enough I have been praying for wider trails and more bike park style track where I live, I went to Whistler and I found the wider trails so much safer and fast, im not talking A-Line wide but insomnia wide would be great, we are getting there :) Just looking for a specific jump trail to be built now.

I know you probably wont listen to this or even see it but my local trail(dh halic)in farr Croatia is really techical,it has pretty big drops and is 100% handbuilt cuz it was made from 07-09 and its still going strong even tough it is ridden almost everyday by a pro downhill rider(not racer) and 2-3 amateurs-semi pros.(im not the pro dh rider). Also the most fun part is called korijeni(roots) and it is the most technical part but also like i said the most fun part.
