- This was such a fun ride! Showing Alex (Singletrack Sampler) some fun trails at Whistler and Seth's bike hacks as well!
We get to ride some great tech trails and find all sorts fun features! We are riding Original Sin, Captain Safety, Fatcrobat, Fade To Black. This is where I can really try out my new bike the Evolve Skypilot on the tech and see how she flies!

He mounts it on his chest, with a GoPro Chestie v2
Rimac C_2 He uses a chin mount with his full face though.

The fist bump sound effects never get old lol. This is so cool seeing some of the other stuff Whistler has to offer. I could watch videos of dirt merchant and A line all day but there's just so many different things to ride there! Looks like that dvo suspension is treating you really well.

Me too! $300 to $400 can get you a used DH Bike from 2000 to 2010. I got a 2007 iron horse yakuza for $350
@@arctifoxdrew4362 save just a bit more and you can get a modern trail bike, even if just a hardtail- it's still gonna be more capable and enjoyable to ride...
I hear ya man. Jordon is just way more down to earth. I really relate to him alot more than the other guys. I think it might be because hes not fake and dont have that corny laugh. He also doesnt dissect every little thing and isnt afraid to crash and definitely not afraid to SEND IT🤘👊👊👍

The fact that you let that man tag along behind you is so amazing. For a rider, the best way to get better is to follow someone better then you and you gave him that opportunity. Haven't had that yet, still new to the sport and no palls yet, but I'll try and ask like he did, might work... :)

I've never even ridden a mountain bike before, TH-cam randomly recommended a video of you riding a jump trail to me which I watched with my jaw on the floor. Now I've spent the last week or so alternating between binging videos and looking for a bike to buy lmao

Welcome dude... I caught the bug in 2016 and I just purchased my first serious bike this week, been riding an entry level bike for years. Don't trick yourself into thinking you need a $4000 bike to be good.

Yeah I think I'm gonna start with a used bike and before I buy one I'm gonna go to a bike park and rent one to see if the sport is for me, what type of riding I prefer and so on.
Gotta say though, coming from a bmx background, deciding whether a bmx is worth buying is definitely easier than buying a mtb lol
I can't wait for my first trip to the mountains!
@@RiversideM Yea man! Like I said, you can get a very decent spec'd bike for under $1000. Even Kijiji is your best option for picking up a good used bike.

Holy shit dude, that bike seems like it's so much faster than the Wilson!! You boys were scooting.
Chin cam view on the rock drops and rolls is DIALED! I love how we can see exactly what you're looking at. Some of those rock drops looked sketch, so in person...they had to be WAY worse. You didn't have any run in, and you just had to get your body position right and react quickly...not easy. One millisecond of panic and indecision braking, and that's when people crash. New respect for your tech skills after watching this one....DH bike or not!

I think it was on the fatcrobat trail when you kinda squeezed thru that lil group of trees was pretty sweet. Kinda gave me de ja vue. There is a spot in my local trails that we have to do that in🤘

I can’t believe that Singletrack Sampler is at Whistler now! would love to say hi to you guys, I’ll be at Whistler on the 24th, I am going to be getting some private coaching but it’s only a half day, as long as I don’t get cramps this time I should hopefully be good to stay around for a little while.
Fun fact: downhill is the mountain biking equivalent of that cross country jock you knew in high school who huffed glue
