This was a tough video to make. I spent a lot of time thinking about how to tell this story, and ultimately decided that my "raw POV" style would make the most sense. Glad to see that Jordan's back to shredding the bike park already, go send him some good vibes! th-cam.com/video/dfDSeLG-0x0/w-d-xo.html
I have a question you might not want to answer, I don't know. I watch your channel on a regular basis and Nick (VanCan). Nick hasn't posted in a long time. Anything wrong? Bad Crash?
This was a pleasure to watch! Great footage on the day and I feel like your cornering has gotten insanely good 👍🏼 I’m glad Jordan is back on the bike too! That was a scary one.
It was hard to click "play" on this one because I knew how the story went already from both bcpov and Jordan's videos. But hearing you giggle on the berms and enjoying it so much was worth it.
Great video!!! Greetings from Germany. Especially because I will never come to Whistler (aerophobia) I enjoy your videos so much. This one shows in an amazing way how much fun you had there. Best one I saw since I subcribed your channel!
Don't hold your breath for too long, not sure it's worth editing with how much mud was on the lens every run haha. If there's a specific clip you're after I can send it your way! 🤘
Very enjoyable video, apart from Boostmaster's crash. It seems like you aren't wearing any knee pads in the video. Is that true, and if yes, what are your reasons for that?
I was hoping that you were filming that day. I was not aware that BCPOV was part of the group that day. I loved seeing you ride some of that bike park stuff for a change. But, I have to say if ever there was a day to throw on some knee pads......
Love your content Dale. Hope you don't mind but I just wanted to point out that the shadows might be getting too jacked up lately. Maybe it is a new camera you switched to or if the settings in your editing program are a little off. It gives a bit of that undesired HDR effect where the shadows are too bright. 1:49 is a prime example where you get getting a lot of colour noise in the shadows due to this.
You are correct, I assumed that because the sensor was the same that I could get away with the same colour correction. Turns out I need to look a bit more carefully and not just edit at quarter res. Thanks! 🫡
So, you might think I’m channeling your Mom with this post, but as fun as Whistler Bike Park undoubtedly is, every time I see videos of guys (Remy, Nic, you et al) whipping through some of those narrow trails with trees tight to the edge, it just makes me feel uneasy. It only takes a weird/unexpected compression or a mechanical to throw a rider off line with potentially dire consequences. I’m really glad that Jordan has come out the other side ok, but there’s an example of such a consequence (and it could have been worse). Obviously people are still going to ride those trails, but hopefully at a comfortable margin below their limits. I know you aren’t much of a bike park guy (I think precisely because of the high speeds and potential consequences), but just felt I had to say it anyway.
Shoutout to the real MVP of this video - Canada's healthcare system... for not completely bankrupting Jordan when he took a helicopter ride and stay in the hospital.

very unfortunate crash i did not know about. i'm glad you made the video though. let's get you to 300k, shall we?
FINALLY! I've been waiting 4 months to see this unintentional nose manual that I did at 16:17 haha!
Glad to hear you have recovered. I saw the crash on your channel, and to say it was scary is an understatement. Stay safe.

We need to know that
I can assure you that he will be back to posting videos soon enough! 🫡

My husband broke his scapula two weeks ago in Whistler after a super fun season and 15 park days. His words...."worth it !!"
Priorities... 😆

And that’s probably why Dr. Stone only prescribes park 1-2 times per year😮
So stoked Jordan had a speedy recovery 🍻
that giggle says it all.
As Ralph Wiggums famously said, "I'm in danger! 🤭"

Wow, you're knocking on 300k!
Congrats on your growth!
For a second I thought this was a closing day video, nope! I'd be curious to hear a review on the TRP or Cura brakes in that series.

I heard 180 in front and was like 'Oh yeah some serious sends on the way' What a fun park!!
Hell yeah dale!
“I’m so scared of anything above 20km an hour” sorry what was the average speed of your bullet dodger KOM? Amazing riding!
If I did this, I would die😅
Can't wait for the next video ;)

Those big jumps scare the crap outta me though, I can't even clear gaps so I am at no risk but still. Crazy stuff

12:03 you can actually see the marks on those trees from people hitting them.
I wanna know how's the maintenence on your Oynx hubs and what brake pads do you go with? Factory pads or aftermarket like Galfer, mtx etc
I like to do speed buty I only can do technical liek rocks and narrow paths now I see how speed paths look like
Bike parks seem so cool

This is not helpful. Why some people have to drag politics in every aspect of life is sad. Some of us just want an escape you know.
Do you have any tips for me so I can maybe get better at biking cus I’m not the best at biking and so if you have any tips please give them 😀
